At $5 a special slice, I decided to stop in this pizza joint after attending a festival nearby. The solo bartender and waiter was patient as I decided what to order. I chose the special slice today - pepperoni, olives, and garlic in traditional marinara type sauce and cheese. I paired that with a can of Coke. Mid-day, this place wasn't very busy. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor tables, benches, and bar seats to choose from for seating. And although a football game was on the tvs above the bar, the noise level was decent. The pizza was ready quickly and greasy perfectly seasoned deliciousness! $9.25 for the whole shabang, not bad.

Second time at Bobby G's. First time was December for concert at UC theater as was this latest visit (Exodus!!!). Very close to theater, welcoming and friendly staff. Buddy ordered large pizza with salami, olives, and Italian sausage. Came out amazing with excellent crust that was perfect throughout. Was a bit big for two of us but plan was to save half for the three hour drive home to Fresno. As it would happen, I have a leg in a brace and use a wheelchair as well as crutches and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Often available in case I needed a helping hand. Great beer selection as well. Frankly, I'm trying to think up an excuse to come back even without a concert there!

Came for their wednesday night trivia with some friends and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was homey and friendly and the food and beverages were solid. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a laid back place to chill.

Ambience is to be expected for a pub next to a music venue, lively and fun they were playing sports when my wife and I attended. The brews are great. I had the passion of the fruit super delicious. Excellent pour. However, the food was truly abysmal. My wife got the basil pesto gnocchi, and I got a simple chicken Alfredo. Both of our dishes were around $17/18after we added chicken. Which the chicken was your typical Sysco food systems pre-cut chicken that was terribly, terribly dry and unseasoned. The pasta was overcooked and Alfredo sauce tasted more like pasta water than Alfredo. Great staff, other patrons were wonderful, just truly terrible food. However, some of the pizzas looked good that others got around us, but unfortunately, we won't be able to try it on this visit.

Thank you, Bobby G's , for the pizza & space to crochet/knit/connect with new East Bay friends!

This place is super fun! They have so many special events almost each and every evening (BINGO, karaoke, etc.), but what you really have to come for is TRIVIA NIGHT on Wednesdays. Free to play, and it's super clever and well done the way the rounds work. Make sure you have a good team name. And get there early because it fills up before the game starts at 7. Pizza is good but make sure you get the stuffed breadsticks which are AMAZING. I also love the Bobby G's salad.

pleasantly surprised about the taste! not at all greasy, excessively cheesy, or oily. tasted very comforting and seasoning was good. price was $17 before tax which isn't horrible. also love how much the place hosts events. haven't gone to any yet but definitely plan to :)

Bobby G's looks like a casual fun place to have a meal with friends and family. The menu is pretty basic Italian foods you would expect at a casual dining restaurant. It has tv's around to watch a game and enjoy your food. For me, the food was just ok. I did not really enjoy my food. I ordered the chicken Parmigiana, stuffed breadsticks, and the Ham & Gruyere Panini. The best out of the 3 was the panini. It had thick slices of ham and crisp bread. It was a little dry and could have used more of the garlic aioli. The Chicken Parmigiana looked great with a good sized cutlet but it just lacked in flavor. As for the breadsticks, it looked great but once again lacked in flavor. I love stuffed breadsticks or stuffed crust but this was just bad. It was too much bread versus stuffing and the cheese had no flavor. TBH, Pizza Hut's stuffed crust was far superior to what I ordered here. It also did not help that this was the last to be served to us despite it being a "starter." I asked about it after having been served the main dishes and although they said that it sometimes takes a while, I frankly think that they simply forgot. If the STARTER takes that long, first they should inform the customer upon ordering AND they should perhaps ask if they want their main courses first AND they should perhaps not list it as a STARTER. The staff were all very friendly but just lacking in service. No one checks on you nor provide refills on drinks. It was more self service in that I had to repeatedly go up to the bar for help. Overall, the food was barely ok and the non-existent service, I would not come back here.

    How's the gluten free pizza?

Sorry for the late reply but our gluten free pizza is really good. We have fresh dough delivered everyday for it. Most restaurants opt to use pre made pizza crust to save on labor and cost and store it in freezers in case they get few orders per day…

For the appetizers, we got the caprese salad ($19), cheesy garlic bread ($14), chicken wings ($18), and BBQ pork riblets ($18). The caprese salad was one of my favorites. The spring mix was super fresh, and even though I'm not the biggest cheese fan, I really liked the fresh mozzarella. The vinaigrette had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, making this a great spring or summer salad. The BBQ pork riblets and chicken wings were both a little dry. I liked the seasoning on the riblets, while the chicken wings were a bit lighter in flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was, as expected, super cheesy! I didn't realize the roasted garlic was served on the side, and personally wasn't the biggest fan of its flavor, but the focaccia itself had a great texture. We also shared the Aries ($22), Mercury ($21), and Cassiopeia ($25) pizzas. The Aries was a classic pepperoni pizza with a nice thin crust, and the Mercury was a margherita pizza. I liked the fresh tomatoes, although I wish there had been more basil. The Cassiopeia was my favorite of the three, and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The BBQ sauce was super flavorful and paired really well with the chicken and onions. Jupiter has a lively atmosphere and a really nice outdoor patio with live music, making it a fun spot for group dinners. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a larger group. They have a variety of different beer flavors available through dispensers where you simply tap your card and pour as much or as little as you'd like while keeping track of the total $$. Our group shared one card and asked for four cups so everyone could sample different beers, which made it a really fun tasting experience. It's a great way to try multiple options without committing to a full pint of something you're unsure about. For food, we ordered the pizza, chicken tikka masala, naan, and tamarind chili black ribs. The ribs in particular had a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors. However, the portions felt small for the price point, which was the biggest drawback of the meal. While the food was good, it didn't quite match the value of the drinks and atmosphere. Tap in lounge is a solid place to grab drinks and hang with friends. These are not light, overly sweet drinks, and may not be for everyone. Overall, a unique spot that stands out for its concept, but not necessarily somewhere I would go out of my way to return to.

The front part is a bar area with lots of tables and seating and outdoor seating as well. Since it was before the concert, we were able to enjoy some food and drinks from the bar and kitchen. It was also during their Happy Hour too which was great. My boyfriend got a drink (not sure what it was, but it was refreshing and citrus tasting?) and we shared a Bavarian soft pretzel with mustard and we got the white cheddar dipping sauce added on for a nominal fee. One of the best pretzels that I've ever had! Deliciously soft interior, nice chew to the texture of the exterior. Comes out hot, warm and delicious. Great on it's own, but great with the sauces too. Perfect dash of the coarse salts on it. I'd get this again for sure and would like to one day order more from their menu. The live house music area is in the back in a separate room. Restrooms were clean too. Enough space for the bands to sell their merch and do a meet and greet. Wasn't a huge venue and insane turn out, but it fit the crowd and I liked how intimate setting was. I was around 3-4 rows from the front and even with a mosh pit and wall of death, I was able to shift around and see the band more clearly. Easy visibility no matter where I was shifted around. Lighting was pretty good and made it easy to take pictures and video. I think the vocals were a bit more muffled than the rest of the band members playing, but that might just be the set up more than anything. Of all the venues I stopped by for the week, this had the most approachable and friendly staff. Greeted going and as we were leaving too. I didn't overheat at this one either, so the AC was A+!!
