I got the face cleaning and a little massage then the microdermabrasion. When the time come for them to clean out the blackhead and pimples, they didn't do a good job. She used the stick and kept scrapping my face. After the facial my face felt like it was stinging. Today, my face is red and swollen and I feel bumps all over. I've been coming here for a couple of years now; couldn't find a better place. They're super clean and super professional. I always walk in with knots in my shoulders and walk out with 10 pounds off my shoulders. I had stumbled upon Yin's on Groupon when I was in dire need for a massage. I loved them so much I wounded up buying a package, one very similar to what I got on Groupon for a full body massage, eye treatment, and facial. I forgot how much I paid for it since I got it a few years back but you get 10 visits plus 1 free session; the best thing about it is it never expires so you can use it whenever you'd like. Be expected to pay a predetermined amount of tip per visit though... The amount isn't too much ($20 for my package) and they're definitely deserving but I found it kind of strange since the set price completely defeats the purpose of "tipping." P.S. If you're a victim of acne, blackheads, and whiteheads, definitely add cleaning to your package. They do a super good job cleaning and I have never gotten any swelling or infection afterwards. read more

My cousin and I got a groupon deal for this spa place. $35 for a massage with RK eye treatment and facial. We got a 6pm appointment. We were able to be seen at the time. They started us off with the facial first then the RK eye treatment. We also added on a mask and extraction for only $25. The girl that did my facial also did my massage. She was gentle and soothing. The massage I got was so relaxing that all the tension seem to have left me altogether. My cousin fell asleep during the massage. I like the overall service provided by the spa. All the people there was nice. The location is not on a busy strip so its quiet. Though, I think there are kids living upstair b/c there was some loud jumping and running around noise. But I was in such a bliss state that it didnt bother me. With the groupon deal and add-on, it came to $63 included tax. I overtipped my girl b/c she was that good. The actual spa price aren't that expensive neither. I would definitely go back even without a deal. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that need good massage and pampering. read more

I came here with the groupon for a deep tissue massage, eye treatment and collagen mask. Based on yelpers I brought my own massage oil to avoid paying $8, I did not encounter any problems with that. However the 1hr massage ended up being 45 minutes, the girl was very good at massaging the knots out of my upper back but my lower back was barely touched. I also agree with fellow yelpers about the quality of massage for the lower body, it was practically nonexistent! Compared to my upper back massage, they hardly touched my legs! It was a weak massage on the lower body...Oh there was also a 5 minute massage on both arms and hands, but that was weak as well. Overall I did not mind since most of stress resides in my shoulder area, but I would have liked the massage to last an hour like it was advertised. The eye treatment was very nice, it was a heated wand of some sort that massaged around the eye area. Unfortunately that only lasted about 5 mins, 10mins tops..... The mask is very standard in my opinion, something that you could do at home yourself, minus the cleanup. The only thing that bothered me was that they INSISTED that we HAD to pay 18% of the total groupon voucher as tip. Not that I mind, but I am no fool.... I had used groupon before and I can read, the tip amount is SUGGESTED not REQUIRED. Overall the voucher was worth it because of the multiple services I have gotten, however I would never pay full price for any of these services. They also insisted on selling a certificate package which is pretty much the groupon price BUT they mandated that we pay $20 in tip, so the total for each session would be $50... thats not too bad but there are many places that have massage deals for $50, but not the mask so I suppose the certificate is worth it. I would recommend coming here with a voucher/certificate for the package of services, it is worth it even if they are lacking in certain areas. NOTE: If you pay tip and tax for a voucher/buy the certificate they charge a $3 surcharge for using credit card regardless if you exceed the minimum of $10 or not. Despite what I read in some reviews I'm still giving a five star review. I too used the groupon voucher and was told a 20 dollar tip was required but I might have tipped more so it wasn't a problem for me. I had the eye treatment,facial and massage. My watch chimed on the hour and the massage lasted just over an hour. The facial and eye treatment took nearly another half hour. I felt that I more than got my money's worth. I'm giving two stars because my skin was smooth and glowing afterwards. However, the service there made me uncomfortable. When I first got there I redeemed my Groupon and the woman at the receptionist desk hassled me for until I was called to sign up to be a member. I declined politely several times. Then when I'm inside doing my facial, the lady is waving a brochure in my face about other services. I politely decline thar as well. Now, the facial has started and the woman is still asking me now if I want to get waxed again I decline. 10 minutes later she's suggesting a peel and I decline again. I'm highly annoyed because I just want to listen to my music and not be bothered about being asked during my whole facial about other services I'm not interested in. I think they should include the front of the legs during the massage, and they should also concentrate on the neck and chest area during the facial.The facial did not include extractions. This was my first facial and treatment ever. I bought a Groupon to do a facial, rf eye treatment and a collage mask. When I arrive there, I was trying to explain the lady that was treating me all about my skin concerns but she didn't understand any English. She calls another lady to help understand what i was saying and they couldn't understand me properly... Even when I talked that I was taking roacutan they looked at me with to clue... They are not professionals at all. Specially for the rf treatment I was hoping that they would ask me questions about my skin, or explain me the treatment, or even questions to understand what kind of products work best for my skin but they don't even talk English. She did all the treatment and after my skin felt good, although I noticed my pores are even more open then before. I just think that if this treatment goes right (which I hope) it's out of luck and not because they are professionals and know exactly what they are doing. This experience made me understand that if you want to do a procedure or treatment or even massage you must look for a professional physician or doctor and not an amateur. Don't play with your skin. About the price, I paid 20$ on Groupon for everything, and even though so many people complain about they asking for a minimum tip, that didn't happen to me. I paid 3$ tax and gave the tip I wanted. The part that I think was really worth it was the face massage and neck, that was very relaxing. The 2 starts is because I don't believe at all that they are professionals and know how to treat and communicate with different patients, with different ages and skins. i bought a groupon for this place and i certainly loved it!!! i had an hour long deep tissue massage which was great, she really worked in my shoulders and it did hurt at times but it felt great afterwards. The collegan facial was definitely worth it it made my skin feel so soft and and refreshed. I also had the rf eye treatment which i think worked wonders on my dark circles. I was a little scared since my eyes are sensitive but the gel they used didnt cause any irritation. I was there for about an hour and 45 minutes for only 39 dollars!! cant beat that price. I made a last minute decision to come here for an emergency facial that I desperately needed. I walked in without an appointment so I had to wait, but that is understandable. I had chosen a GM Oxygen facial and it was wonderful. It was slightly painful because a lot of my pores were clogged but did wonders for my skin. The woman who helped me, took her time to clear every congested pore I had and also gave me an excellent shoulder and neck massage. I felt all my stress just melt away. I had sever acne at the time but a few days after the facial afterglow, my skin was clear and extremely happy. The women there were really friendly and did not try to push their products on me at all. I was even given skin care advice during my facial! I came there today, Mon 22nd. I didn't have any appointment and it was 1 hour before they close. However, they greet me very well. I got 1 hour Swedish massage and Nancy was a masseuse. The massage was excellent, she found all the spots in my body that needed more attention then the others. Usually, when you come 1 hour before the place closes, the masseuses do everything too fast. In this case, it was absolutely no rush!! Instead, she was doing massage for more than 1 hour. I'm so glad I've found this place. Not sure why my experience was so different than the other reviewers that purchased the groupon, but it was definitely one of the worst experiences I ever had. I called and scheduled the appointment a few days ahead and informed them I had a groupon. First off, there was no greeting or smile whatsoever when I walked in, she simply stuck her hand out and asked for the groupon and informed me of the mandatory 15% tip based on the original value of the service. Not a great first impression nor a relaxing environment to say the least. Then I was told that I had to wait an extra half hour past my appointment time because they overlapped somebody before me.The massage and treatment was just ok, it may not have been enjoyable due to the aggravation I was experiencing during this whole process. I went to Yin's Beauty & Spa to have an eyelash lift and tint. This place is close to home and I was in the market to find a place that is convenient to get my monthly facials (Hydrafacial and microneedling). The place is clean and well lit, which was what made me give it a try. It took 3 hours for them to do my eyelash lift with tint, the results was a disaster. They had to do my the lift twice as some lashes lifted, some curled and some straight. After 3 hours, my lashes looked as if u was electrocuted and my eyelids were swollen, red and burned. It was sensitive to touch. They spoke in Chinese thinking I didn't understand what they were saying, I fully understood. I was not happy and they definitely knew I was very disappointed with the results. Therefore, they offered me to come back a week later for the boss to redo my lashes. I was not going back and they knew that. I paid for the service, then the lady who did my electrocuted lashes had the audacity to ask for tip!! I will definitely never go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I have take pics of my eyelids/eyelashes the next day as a reminder. I came to know about this place from Groupon. I bought a groupon for a one hour massage, microabrasion and mask. They lured me into becoming a member from the first visit. I had a decent massage the first time where the girl worked on my knots and all. They persuaded me to become a member as they offer the same price as Groupon and I won't have to pay taxes and the mandatory 20% gratuity. I got lured into buying a 10 time treatment package for $590. My second time experience was not the same. Another girl gave me the massage and it was just okay. This place has a doorbell and customers need to be buzzed in. Every time I try to relax, the buzzing noise interrupts my relaxation. The story gets better in the end. As I was paying and handed the gratuity to the girl, she said it's not enough. She said there's a minimum $20 tip required. I tried to explain to her that I wasn't told about this requirement and how it's not fair for a customer to mandate a tip (what if they got bad service?). I requested to speak to a manager, but the girl said the manager is busy. Then another girl comes out of a room and asked what's wrong. This girl saw the situation and just said to me, "oh, the problem is that you don't want to pay the $20 tip right? $20 tips is very little. It's what customers will normally give us. We use so much strength for the massage and facial." I responded that the whole issue is not the $20, but the fact that I wasn't told about it when I signed up for the membership. I realized that the conversation will go nowhere, so I demanded a refund and cancellation of the membership. Luckily, they allowed me to cancel the membership. I still went ahead and gave the girl $20 tip and left. I will never return and don't recommend anyone to this place, unless you don't mind a stressful massage with many interruptions and noise; plus don't mind paying a mandated tip! read more
