I'm not happy when I have anything negative to say about a business but I must. I was gifted a gift card for my birthday and I thought I would use it on mother's days and bring my mother along. I've had a hair spa, neck massage before at an alternate place and it was the most beautiful experience. I worked in service before. When you book appointments, you should leave sometime in between for setting up, clean up or late walk-ins. I was there at 9:02 and the experience was just awful. The treatment used smelled like floor cleaner. The equipment used was so loud I cannot relax, and I made it a point to tell them that my mother had a neck pain and she was hardly given a massage. The previous experience outside of Yli we were given a blowout, hair straightening included in our service here my mother and I walked out with oil in our hair. I was told that I would be given an extra hair treatment for $25 and I have no idea what I paid for. I asked the attendant unknown name, why they did not begin with the scalp monitor and she said we walked in late. We were there at 9:02. I am so sad to have paid $130 for an awful experience and I have class and still paid the attendance when I know I should. Please don't waste your time here. Find something outside of this location. It's worth driving out to another place. Ask questions, for the price I could've gotten a full service elsewhere. No pictures were taken, I was so disappointed but I should have. I went in for a Groupon I purchased . It was 60 minute facial and 30 minute hair / scalp therapy. When I arrived she mentioned to me I had to pay an additional $25 for a hair wash and blow dry , that was not included in the $110 package I bought on Groupon. I was disappointed I had to pay an extra $25 . The place is cute and clean however it's not relaxing . The machines are loud and the walking w sandals clicking at every step was annoying -!: slamming of doors every time they entered or exited the room. Also the machines being rolled around it was very loud . She said I needed to go in 2-3 more times for extractions because I had too many so I get that I need to come back again for adddinal services . As a massage therapist my expectations are usually high and I consider details that most people do not. I really enjoy the idea of being able to simply get a scalp massage for an hour. I haven't come across any spa that offer scalp massage alone, it's usually available only as an add on to other services. When I entered the spa, I was greeted by the receptionist and she directed me to have a seat at a consultation desk where she performed a scalp analysis in which I was able to watch the video of what she was seeing on my scalp. This was a nice touch but I would have been nice to know about it ahead of time. I was given the results and was recommended to get a different treatment than I initially came in to get. Since I was there specifically for the scalp massage I did not accept the offer to upgrade my service. The spa has 3 service rooms, my room was clean and well set up. See pictures. The therapist had good pressure and checked in with me a reasonable amount of times. The shampoo portion of the service was refreshing. The gentle rain bar was a nice touch. I would've like to have been offered a leg pillow for support, I had to ask for it. I would have like to have been educated about the benefits of the hair products used. I also have bleached blonde hair so knowing whether it was color safe would've been nice. I would have liked more time for massage on my neck and shoulders, the shampoo process seemed to waste a lot of water and I have a less than and inch of hair so I think this needs to be taken into account. Overall I would recommend giving this spa a shot to see if it's a good fit for you. The following day: I was initially told my scalp is oily. Of course, my appointment was at 3:45 in the afternoon and I also have bleached short hair so I use a salon grade leave in conditioner. Today my scalp is itchy. I do not use shampoos that strip your hair of its naturals oils, bleached or not. So I'm curious as to what ingredients were in the products used. If I return I will definitely take my own hair products. The messaging is a little unclear, is the service for the scalp massage or the health of your hair or scalp and does your consultation articulate that? I do not believe it did. No questions were asked about my hair care routine, contraindications or the state of my scalp day to day. read more

Highly recommend. I've had Services both with Yvonne and lily, both were stellar! This spot is a hidden gym and offers luxury services at an excellent price. You have private rooms with services that are approximately an hour long or more depending on what you order. Prior I would go to get acupressure massage at other places but I also separately went to go get my hair done because I have carpal tunnel and it is very hard for me to wash my hair and brush it. Lily combines Advanced acupressure techniques to go with a deep scalp massage, cleansing, UV light therapy, steam to seal the cuticle of your hair and they provide aromatherapy and serums to go on the hair as well. You are laying down with a nice warm blanket and it is very relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised particularly because they handled my hair texture no problem. I have kinky coily hair, black African American hair that is and they did a great job brushing it out at the end. They also did a great job of making sure the scalp was mostly dry at the end of the treatment to ensure that your scalp stays healthy. If you're looking for a blowout or silk press and you have kinky coily hair of course this would not be that kind of service but-if you're trying to maintain your scalp health and have a very small like luxury relaxing experience that will help seal the cuticle of your hair and maintain the health of your hair more from root to tip than this is the kind of service that you should do once a month! They also detangle at the end, so helpful. I also got a wonderful facial from Yvonne. She's a licensed esthetician who is very knowledgeable. I initially wanted to get a different service than what I ended up getting because she advised me based off my skin type what would be best. During the facial there is also excellent massage that is part of that service and she even cleaned up my eyebrows and did a great job keeping them very natural looking. For the next week I could see the difference in circulation to my face it looked more firm and skin looks tighter in the mirror. The package deal definitely is the way to go. If you get the package you can mix and match Services you're not committed to have to do anyone kind of service which really is lovely. It makes you want to come back and make sure you don't forget your self care because you do pay for it up front and you get a really good price if you get the package. I been coming to this Spa for almost a year now and I don't see myself going anywhere else I only go for the acne facial because I always struggled with acne and it hurts sometimes but my skin has gotten so much better. When I go they clean my face, leave a mask on they give me a massage on the arms and neck then use a steamer for about 5 minutes after that she really cleans my face she'll get out black heads and pimples after that she'll put another mask on and let my face rest but there's so many other facials she provides also read more

Came here for a lymphatic massage treatment,that was more like a regular massage. So confused as to why she was working so fast! She offered a foot & hand scrub/mask that wasn't pleasant $30 extra! Being a 1st time customer & also massage therapist myself, I would not recommend this treatment here. They also don't give any instructions on what NOT to do during the 1st 24hrs. I purchased a Groupon for a 75 min acne facial for my 16 year old daughter. She's had many acne facials over the years. Our regular lady moved out of state, so we turned to Groupon to try a new place. This "spa" is located in a run down strip mall. We set up the appointment for today, June 19th at 2 pm. We arrived a little early and the lady at the front desk said they had availability for her to start the service early. Right away she walks over to my daughter and looks at her face, stating that she doesn't need an acne facial, rather another facial, which is $25 more. I declined and she immediately looked irritated. Then she proceeds to tell me the service will be an hour or less because my daughter doesn't have acne. The photos below prove otherwise. She then hovers over me to make sure I redeem the Groupon right then. The lady at the front counter is the same lady who performed the service. My daughter came out of the room 40 minutes later visibly upset and tearing up. I asked her what was wrong she said she didn't feel comfortable the whole time and that she was using a needle to pop pimples and being very rough with her hands. Keep in mind that my daughter has had these facials several times a year for years so she knows what to expect. I looked at her face and she had some type of white mask in her hair, on the side of her face, and on her shirt. I pointed that out and the lady was defensive claiming that my daughter wouldn't let her clean her face. But never offered a towel or to clean it after. She was providing a facial service. I'm not sure how this stuff ended up on in her hair, on her hands, and clothing. I walked my daughter to the car to talk to her. She said she doesn't know what she was doing to her face, but it wasn't normal. I went back inside to talk to the lady that performed the service, who I assume is the owner. I calmly requested a refund and gave the reasons why and she became irate, screaming at me and telling me I'm crazy several times. I asked her to calm down multiple times and she refused. She continued to yell at me and became very aggressive. To avoid any escalation, I chose to leave and I let her know I will be leaving her this review. Just a heads up, while I was there another lady finished a service on a gentleman and then proceeded to to tell him how much he should tip her. If you like to be upsold to unnecessary services and told how much to tip, this is your place. read more

Terrible!!!!! I was super excited to try a new spot for a head scalp wash and massage and at first everything seemed pretty good. But I left super confused as to what exactly it was that I paid for because I came home and had to re-wash my hair to get all of the knots and tangles out. She put some sort of essential oil throughout my entire scalp and massaged it in, by this point I'm thinking everything is gonna go great until she starts to shampoo my hair... she lathered a large amount of shampoo all over my head, and did not even scrub it in. The shampoo was simply placed on top of my hair and washed right out. I don't believe she used conditioner in my hair either.... Then she attempts to blow dry my hair and brushes it with the tiniest travel sized brush that left me with knots and extremely tangled hair, not to mention my hair was still super wet when I left. The brush was so tiny, that she only brushed the top layer of my hair, which left me with a bunch of knots underneath..... Not only does my scalp feel extremely irritated with whatever it was she used prior to the shampoo, but it looks and feels terrible. The woman was super nice but she had no idea what she was doing when it came to the scalp wash. I would like a refund of the $70 that I paid for in cash.. Please train your staff to do a job correctly and thoroughly. I don't believe that these reviews are all true and real.... Take your money elsewhere. read more

I got the the first time client special scalp care treatment It's started by going into a private room that and was asked to place a wrap around towel. Yvonne ( the manager) did my treatment. We started off with a scalp massage and then did the shoulder and neck massage. Went in on a slow Sunday. The front desk lady said I was lucky since they normally are booked and do appointment only so keep that in mind if you are going for the first time. This was my first time getting a head and scalp care treatment, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When I first walked in, the setting felt calming with Zen music, so I expected a relaxing session. They checked my scalp with a 3-D scanner and told me it was dry. I originally purchased the $45 Groupon, but I was convinced to upgrade to the $78 service, assuming it would be a higher-quality treatment. The massage for my head, shoulders, and neck started off well, but everything went downhill once the scalp "treatment" began. The scalp wash felt very surface-level and didn't actually reach or massage my scalp. The mask was applied only around my hairline instead of my full scalp, and although I have long hair, she only washed the ends -- not the scalp she claimed was dry. Then I was left under running water for about 15 minutes with no explanation. Even worse, she took two phone calls during my service, speaking loudly in the room. This completely ruined any sense of relaxation and felt extremely unprofessional. Between the phone calls, the loud water motor, and long periods of doing nothing, the Zen atmosphere was gone. Overall, the service did not match what I paid for, especially after being talked into upgrading. I left feeling frustrated, not relaxed, and I would not recommend this place based on my experience. read more

I went in yesterday for a 90 minute service that included a 60 minute facial with a 30 minute head spa therapy I called before scheduling my appointment to check the price. She told me it was originally $99 I then went on Groupon and purchased the exact same thing for $80. The quality of everything was very poor. The lady I had was aggressive when moving my head. Would slam the door walking in and out. At the end of my service, I showed my Groupon voucher and she got very upset. She made me pay full price on top of my voucher. Not only that, but she still asked for a tip. In which I gave her five dollars on top of the 25 I had already given her. She just looked at me in disbelief and said five dollars for 90 minutes? Loved it! It's been so long that I felt this relaxed. I struggle from a dry and itchy scalp, especially when the weather gets colder so this was much needed. Service was just okay overall--I wouldn't visit again. I got 2nd or 3rd highest hair scalp deep cleansing/head spa. The shoulder and neck massage was barely noticeable, despite being advertised, and my hair was actually more tangled after the head spa.
