This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again.

We located this RV park online as they had availability for arrival on a Thursday/departure on a Friday. Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

The RV resort feels tucked away in the forest, giving it a cozy and secluded vibe. The sites have water and electric hookups (no sewer), and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. Showers operate with quarters, while the restrooms are free. The restaurant was a great bonus and really added to the stay. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions and delicious food. We loved that they also host weekly specials and events like free Bingo on Mondays, Taco Tuesday, Prime Rib Friday, and live music on Saturdays. Out back there is a spacious yard with picnic tables, yard games, and a stage for music, which makes it feel like a little community hub. There is also a gas station and convenience store next door, which came in handy for basics and propane tank refills. The location itself is perfect. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown Leavenworth's Bavarian village and very close to Lake Wenatchee State Park for outdoor adventures. A big shoutout to Vito, the host, who is very hands-on and attentive, especially in the restaurant. You can tell he takes pride in making sure guests are well taken care of. Prices were very reasonable for both the RV sites and the restaurant. The only thing I would suggest is adding a fenced-in dog run, but there are trails on the property where you can walk your dog, so it was not a big issue. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a peaceful RV stay with excellent food, fun activities, and close access to both Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Highly recommend!

While this R.V. park has potential, the things that were promised haven't been met. So here's an…read morehonest review from someone who use to be a full timer at this park but has since bought a house and has moved on good terms: 1. There is no shade, which some may enjoy due to not having to worry about large trees falling on one's rig. When it comes to the playground there needs to be some sort of shade for the kids. 2. They are wanting to install a BBQ pit area in the field near the dog park but all RV'ers travel with cooking supplies and grills and there are no Tent sites for camping tents which people who are tent camping would benefit from the BBQ area. So it makes no sense to spend money on such a thing when no one will use it. 3. A swimming pool would change this R.V. park in an instant, it would become the hit place in town and they could easily charge more $$ per night for such a thing yet it constantly gets over looked. 4. A park upgrade could also change this place, everything is broken, and it's a half a$$ put together park/playground situation. The kids are always in the creek behind the park where there is shade because the playground is lacking so much. 5. Come summertime US-2 the highway that you drive on to get to and from town is terrible, stand still traffic every single weekend. Which means you loose your weekend stuck at the RV park with no shade or fun things to do unless you want to fight the traffic. 6. There use to be a good number of full timers and weekend visitors, it is now mostly full timers. Some with nice clean organized sites, some look like a dump field. There are no set rules it seems. Hopefully you get a clean, quiet neighbor. There have been field mice problems in people's rigs and car engines. 7. Ever since they added the Gracies place food into the resort the traffic coming in for coffee and food SPEEDS into the RV park going 35+, there are kids crossing that section of the road to get to the park and I've seen many times a car get too close to a kid coming in so fast. This is NOT ok. 8. The food at Gracie's place is Sysco food, it isn't the freshest. The wait time can be insane and the customer service could be improved a bit. 9. They state 2 dogs a site only, some sites have 3+ dogs. They also state 2 cars only per site, some sites have 2+ cars. They also state no trailers at your site, some sites have trailers parked at their site. Again there is no uniform rules. 10. This park has potential, it's been tossed around in management. No real guidance, it's surviving on pure luck and due to the fact that's it's the only RV park somewhat close to Seattle that's so flexible with its rules it will allow just about anything unlike the others closer to the city.

Check in and out was easy and smooth.wr always recommend this place to people for a quite but fun get away. We loved staying in the greenhouse this winter. It was perfect for 4 adults and two kids. The conditions became a genuine health and safety concern, and we decided we could no longer safely remain. I explained the situation to the owner, who sounded very understanding and even mentioned medical issues in her own family. We planned to leave the next day, but when the park lost power that evening, we decided not to spend the night without air conditioning in the heavy smoke and left. About 30 minutes later, the owner texted that power had been restored. A couple of days later, after seeing no refund, I contacted her. She offered a three-night credit toward a future stay. I thanked her but explained that we live on the East Coast and could not realistically use it, and asked instead for a refund of the three completely unused nights that followed our departure. We did not even ask for a refund for the night we left, despite not spending that night there. She never responded. I followed up again several days later and again received no response. We did not leave because our plans changed or because we disliked the park. We left because the conditions had become a health and safety issue. I do not blame Pine Near for the wildfires, smoke, or power outage, but I could find nothing in its published policy stating that guests who must leave early under dangerous natural conditions forfeit payment for all unused nights. The park also appeared only about half occupied during our stay. Policies and profits matter, but health, fairness, compassion, and common sense should matter more. We made every reasonable effort to stay and even accepted paying for the night we left. Keeping our money for three additional nights we could not safely use--and then ignoring two requests to reconsider--was unacceptable. For that reason, I cannot recommend Pine Near.
