They also have the most delicious bacon, turkey and cheese sandwiches that are hot and grilled to order. We decided to try some of their fresh pastries, as well as a hot sandwich and a breakfast burrito. One of them had incredible flavor. The pastries were flaky and light. The server told me that they get the rolls here, so I made it a point to come back the next day for breakfast. They serve Starbucks coffee-which might be a selling point to most people, but I prefer something local. Starbucks isn't my cup of....coffee. The pastry displays were full of delicious options and I was excited to see such a variety of seasonal (Halloween) goodies. So fun! I was drawn to the gargantuan sugar donut but was later a little disappointed to find it gooey in the middle. The flavor was ok, but I couldn't finish the unbaked treat. Perhaps a smaller version would have cooked fully throughout. I'd definitely return for the dinner rolls or to try that fruit tart I saw in the case. Maybe another time.

The employee inside helped me with my order of 4 donuts and we had a great chat about the shop and my journey. I went to the restroom after paying and came out and grabbed my bag. When I got to the car I realized that there were some bonus donuts in my bag. On top of the great service and generosity the donuts were amazing. I was in a rush and skimmed over the fact that they have matcha. I'm hoping to try that next. I let my baby try a bite of the vanilla bean because why not, we're on vacation! He loved it.
