All the various staff are quick, polite and respectful. My only complaint over the months is the repetitive cleaning of the floors with the machine while people are trying to eat, and lack of attention to cleaning the build of dust on equipment that is visible to customers (check behind the monitor stations) above the food prep areas. read more

This shop had some pretty yummy bagels and sandwiches. I tried the jalapeño cheese bagel breakfast sandwich that had sausage, egg, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño cheddar cream cheese on it. It was super tasty!! The cream cheese pushed the sandwich into a whole other level. Most bagel sandwiches I've seen don't add any cream cheese to it and that leaves you with a too dry of a sandwich. It's needs some kind of sauce. This was superb. My mouth is watering just thinking about. We also had a another breakfast sandwich made on the French toast bagel. The French toast bagel was so delicious and interesting. It actually had a hint of maple syrup! Most French toast bagels I've encountered just have cinnamon and sugar in them. Who remembers when bagels used to be 25 cents? I'm not that old but I remember and it's really hard to pay $3 now for one bagel. Stopped in for a breakfast bagel sandwich before our hike. It was a Sunday morning with a fair number of tables filled with locals but no line at the register. I miss the old Park City coffee roasters which operated out of the space. While bagel den has clean industrial lines, it's the missing cozy charm a local coffee house should have. They're also seems to be a lot of wasted space since the remodel that is obvious and awkward. The only bright spot is the back side room that is much quieter (sound insulated?) with those Central Perk vibes you hope to find in a coffee place. Mixed matched cushioned couches and chairs, accessible outlets for work and recharging. The coffee was nothing special. The boyfriend liked his hazelnut. My French roast was just okay. Same with the bagel sandwich. Just okay. I prefer the ones from Park City bread & bagel. By the way, The bagel den has not gotten the memo to stop charging for alternative milks. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch at 3:00pm. Ordered a Turkey Rachel. It was well stacked with turkey and a nice slice of cheese but it appeared to have 1/4 teaspoon of Thousand and maybe 1/2 tablespoon of Cole Slaw. The Bagel Den is a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Everything is fresh and the quality is always top tier. I highly recommend getting there early as they seem to run out of popular bagels quickly. I'm glad to see that they have opened up more locations. The last few times we have gone they have been out of egg bagels and plain bagels. Their French toast bagel is incredible. I actually liked this bagel place for a non-east coast bagel place! I'm just from New Jersey and am a bit of a snob because of that. The bagel is more on the dense side but I enjoyed my everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. And it's a good price too. My biggest criticism is there was barely any cream cheese on my bagel so next time i would ask for double. Recommend asking for double if you actually like your bagels to have cream cheese on it (but maybe that's the NJ in me coming out). read more

We were looking for something to eat and stopped by Whole Foods and Smiths and apparently sandwich makers were off that day at both locations. We saw the Bagel Den and went in for lunch. Our third stop was the best stop. I had the carnivore and I could have ate half and saved the other half, but it was so good I ate all of it. It was on a plain bagel with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and cheese and toasted. I could hardly open my mouth enough to bite it. My wife Donna got the everything bagel with chicken salad I think and the entire bagel was covered with seeds, top and bottom, not just the top portion like most places. And not just a dusting of seeds either. It was covered up! Donna and I enjoyed it so much, we got an early start and got bagels on the way to the airport which worked out good since they open at 6 am. The food was great as was the service. The Cinnamon bagel was good and I would have liked to try the French toast bagel but we discovered the Bagel Den too late in our vacation. Donna got another everything with the garden veggie spread. Very blah. I ordered the BLT sandwich on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. The bagel besides the heat from the handful of jalapeños on top was very flavorless. The dough definitely could have used salt. The sandwich itself was pretty plain and was lacking a condiment of some sort. The bacon was incredibly dense and hard to bite through. Price was not worth what I received. The Bagel Den in Kimball Junction is convenient and has plenty of parking. The bagels and flavored cream cheeses are all very good I especially liked the French toast bagel with honey almond cream cheese. There is a decent area to sit and enjoy your bagel and a cup of coffee. They are sufficiently staffed to handle high volume. The problem is if you just order bagels. This is the first bagel shop that I was required to wait for all the toasted bagels, egg and cheese bagels, etc that require time. Just throw the bagels in the bag. After waiting 5 minutes and seeing there was no one in line I walked back up to the cashier who turned and walked away as I approached. Not great customer service. Hopefully with this review they will address this issue. I understand needing to make sure that you have the bagels required for previous orders however this was half a dozen and the shop was not terribly busy. read more
