We were disappointed with this trip to Kneaders in Heber. We love the location near our home in Ogden, so when we saw this one on our way through the area we decided to stop and grab our favorites. We ordered our food to go and the packages that held our sandwiches had some sauce all over the bottom, which made a mess as we took everything out of the bag. The edges of beef on the French dip was dried out and hard (like jerky), like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. We ordered a second sandwich and asked them to leave the onions off, but they put the onions on it. They were great, I ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich and Oreo cheesecake Briana M who took my order was super nice. I was given the wrong order and went back and she was so nice and swapped it for me. She took full responsibility for the mistake. I was not angry about it just wanted my food . I love how great she was even in the event of a mixup. She didn't blame anyone for it. We both laughed it off. Eli was very nice when handing me the correct food! And the fact I know him from school was a bit odd but nonetheless relaxed and kind. Would 100% recommend this kneaders!!! She certainly deserves a raise!! There are days when Kneaders is wonderful... those days are usually during the week, Monday-Friday, breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately nights and weekends are not the time to go. Customer service and the quality of food really slacks off during those times. We were hoping for the best...especially when you are paying $15+ for a sandwich combo. Todays order consisted of a Turkey Bacon & Avocado, but unfortunately no avocado . I love these sandwiches, but seriously? Leaving out an ingredient that is in the name of a sandwich? For dessert we thought we would try the cheesecake... hmmm for $5.49 I would expect something a bit bigger, and why in the world would they put them in the same box ? We stopped here for breakfast and they were terrific---the egg/cheese/sausage croissants. The croissants were huge and tender and the eggs were perfectly prepared. The staff were pleasant and helpful. And yes, the place is very pleasant for spending an hr enjoying the meal and chatting while drinking coffee. We went in to order sandwiches. The line moved quickly. We waited 35 minutes for our order. Another lady was waiting by us and she had been waiting 40 minutes for a bowl of soup. The men's bathroom was locked. Update: We waited 45 minutes and one of the sandwiches was wrong and had to be remade because of allergies. Cherry tomatoes were used on the sandwiches and of course kept falling out. Not a good experience. They prioritize call-ins and drive thru. Don't go in!!! read more

Traveling around the states, I always use Yelp to decide where to eat. All the places suggested didn't sound that great, but driving by, I saw this place and it was absolutely fabulous!! Ate there a few times. I noticed the negative reviews, but in todays employment situation, it was not a surprise. I don't know about the rest of you, but there aren't many businesses that haven't been affected by this new world we live in. For now, I'm happy to find good food. To be truthful, we came to buy a loaf of bread. And left with four! The ciabatta was perfect for sandwiches, an assiago cheese, and a sourdough loaf. When we got home, discovered there had been a mixup, but they had already closed.(Saturday, closed Sunday) so it was Monday before we could speak to anyone. The manager on duty said to come back and replaced the loaf free of charge with a hazelnut twelve grain. Hazelnut in bread??? Trust me, this is not the sticky-icky hazelnut used to pollute an already bad coffee. This nutty bread was most delicious, enough to eat it plain. The prepared sandwiches emanating from the kitchen looked so appetizing, and the cozy seating around the warm fireplace was just perfect. Leave room for dessert...lots of choices! I'm leaving four stars because of the front of house order taker. This young lady's shift was ending. She took our order, and just walked out. Leaving a pretty noticeable gap in getting our order filled, and getting us out the door. Her manager eventually filled our order, and seemed utterly non plussed by this girl's behavior. So the managers and cooks behind the wall knew what they were doing, but the front line employees didn't seem to care about the customers. read more

Drive through is painfully slow (last time) went in this time though. Used to be the best service in town, now it's one of the worst. This place was crazy busy and so short on help. We went on a Saturday night. The cashier was so friendly and offered suggestions. I wish I got her name because she was the perfect person to have at the register. We came just for dessert. It took forever to get our four desserts and they were out of coffee. The desserts were amazing except they were out of vanilla sauce for the bread pudding. I asked for whipped cream instead. It was still pretty good but would have been better with the vanilla cream. We probably waited 25-30 minutes just for them to take the desserts out of the display case, put them on a tray and bring them to us. read more

For how much they charge, Kneaders is a 3 star restaurant. If they were cheaper, they'd be a 4 or 5 star Yelp restaurant. The food is good and usually it's a quality experience, but nobody wants to have to refinance their house to buy a turkey sandwich. If I can't buy some bread and soup for less than $10 there are some issues. If you like Panera and are okay with their prices, you'll like this place. read more

Ordered two of them through the drive thru and there was hardly any turkey on the sandwiches at all and they were disgusting. Called to complain (which I rarely ever do) and they put me on a redemption list. I even called to confirm I was on the list and was reassured there was no time limit. Well, April today was very rude, told me I was wrong and that redemptions needed to be done within 5 days and that my order was from February - so she could still see my name on the redemption list. Team was so friendly and the restaurant was clean, warm and inviting when we walked in. Not a massive hot breakfast menu, but what they have is top notch. I visited with my family and our neice, and all three kids loved the pancakes and chunky cinnamon toast (the slices are at least 2" thick). The first time I went they forgot my apple pie. Since then the place NEVER has what I order. I've tried to order at 6, 7, and 8pm. They are always out of the soups, out of the baguette, out of cookies. They'll say what else can I get you and then they're sold out of that too. Wow, just wow! Ok I am from Las Vegas and came to heber to visit the town, I am a sucker for small towns and man did Kneaders surprise me with a big city taste! This place is 10/10 so good! I recommend the chai tea latte iced, the key lime pie tarts, and the fruit tart, oh my word I need one of these places in Vegas! Any bad review about this place is absolutely wrong!
