He truly cares about his clients success and isn't there just for the money. He goes out of his way to keep each workout challenging and different so you aren't bored. Definitely the motivation I've been needing. I have personally seen fantastic results in two short months of working with Pete. If you follow his recommendations on nutrition and exercise it will work for you. Aside from the above comments, the atmosphere is very friendly. I have not once felt intimidated to go workout. The other trainers are very friendly and all of the clients are friendly as well and support each other in their success. This is what I get for a $30 membership that I can't get out of u til Feb 2024. You are guaranteed to walk away from that place with some kind of disgusting bacteria or virus. The joint is a repurposed shop. Giant garage doors, open floor plan and mirrors and rope lights. It's definitely not a super fancy joint, but we came here to shred, not for the ambiance. Anita is a pretty good spin instructor. She definitely keeps it interesting. Always positive which in turn makes the whole class super upbeat and happy. Good amount of squat racks/bench presses/large dumbell rack. Clean and open room with a section for body weight exercises. Has a yoga/class section, basketball court, and a pool/ spa section. The clientele seem solid in all the time I've been going with most of the people generally following basic gym etiquette. Plus it's not too busy! Obviously there are flaws like a couple of pieces of missing equipment. But those can be overlooked. Good LA Fitnwss probably the best in the detroit metro area.

I used to think that CrossFit was only for super fit people, but truly I found out that it was a lie. In CrossFit downriver there is a diversity of ages and levels. When I finally decided to join, I called and spoke to coach Kirk and told him I wanted to do a session (1st one is FREE, if u have never done CrossFit they have a 1:1 class to teach you all the moves, it does have a fee. Recommend because you don't want to hurt your self doing the wrong moves) My first day I was so scared but everyone was so welcoming and helpful ! And that is what drew me to join. They are a huge family and they welcome everyone ! Pros *All the coaches are great and knowledgeable! *huge variety of hours . *sometimes they have parties or get togethers. *they have a crossfit gymnastic class. *coaches help you figure out easier moves or lighter weights. *all ages and skill levels *they push you to finish but at the same time they cheer you on. *they post their workouts on their website and Facebook (I like to mentally prepare myself) *they always have their competition WOD. and their fitness WOD ( I do fitness and I sweat too much ) Cons- *none - well maybe being super sore after every class lol (but the pro is that is good for **************** With every work out I still die (no kidding)... but then I feel so relaxed and accomplished!
