Took the vloxk class with Janice and loved it! First class at this lovely yoga studio. Ot is on the third floor just north of Lowes. Easy to find and don't worry if you need Iit, there is an elevator. Nice reception area with some products and drinks. We were greeted by our instructor, Janice, who showed us where to store our stuff and showed us into the room. Very nice bamboo floors and nice decor. We never tried blocking before and Janice was a wonderful instructor. She gave good, detailed steps for the class. We worked on our necks and heads and felt great at the end of class. We plan on coming back again soon to work on another part of the body. This class releases tension in the fascia, and we all need that. read more

The studio is owned by a brightly energetic human named Corbin Stacy, former flight attendant and long time yogi with smart business sense and strong knowledge base. Turns out to be a winning combination in customer service, class offerings, aesthetic and over attitude at this studio. The space itself is located on the third floor of a shopping center, which seemed a unlikely spot for such a wonderful place to do yoga. They're are two studio rooms at Yoga Home, cleverly named the "living room" and the "family room." One heated with a fancy heat- tech system, one unheated. I took classes in both. Let's start with unheated. "Healing yoga all-levels" offered almost everyday, is super accessible to all body types and fitness levels. Starts with a meditation, there's aroma therapy peppered throughout, we did some color therapy at one point and the rest is gentle stretching and body mind connection awareness. People love this class, I mean, there was an applause at the end people enjoyed it so much. I also took a variety of heated classes. My favorite classes were the ones taught by the owner. The music was great, he has a motivating cadence in his speech, and an authentic voice. I found the flow creative and the variations offered on asanas plentiful. There are something like 50 classes offered through the week, I'm confident there is something for everyone. The other standout class for me was Anuttara Raja which focusing on breath work and alignment, to guide you into relaxed poses, held for extended periods of time with a goal of accessing deeper meditative states. Let me start by saying yoga hOMe is absolutely the most amazing studio. From the moment you walk in the door you will feel the warmth and beauty of the studio. The mood is bright, welcoming and energizing. Corbin, the studio owner/operator is fantastic, he is very knowledgeable, listened to my needs, answered all my questions and gave me a tour of the studio explaining everything they offer. Both the heated infrared room and unheated room are immaculate. I'm definitely new to Yoga and have taken 4 classes with 3 different teachers... Cindy, Susana & Marcus. All 3 are phenomenal. Love, Love, Love!! Corbin Stacy, owner of yoga hOMe, one of the most customer-oriented business in Pompano Beach, FL. And that's why I will tell everyone about his studio. I had a GROUPON for actually a different studio, but upon using my voucher when I spoke with Corbin on the phone, he was so kind and helpful and not only is allowing instructors to continue their classes when their studios closed down; he honored a GROUPON that wasn't even for his business Applause, applause, applause!! Finally, a business owner who understands that when things change that are not at the consumers benefit, he listened and made it work. Corbin without hesitating said, "I'll honor your voucher and provide you 2 weeks unlimited classes". Music to my ears, who doesn't hate to see a GROUPON go to waste. I went to the studio and met Corbin, his manager, Donna and one of his instructors. Now, I'm 50 lbs overweight and in need of serious healthy activities in my life; and usually, at this weight you get skimmed over by health afficianados...well NOT with Corbin and his team, I found them to be such a refreshing change - so kind, warm and welcoming. So, if you're worried about going because you don't look like a Ban de Soleil model, worry no more I have found you a home, yoga hOMe. And by this point, I hadn't even taken a class, but I was sold - this studio is so different than any other. The positivity, encouragement and just overall kindness, that alone made me want to go and of course, because of the wonderful benefits yoga has to offer. Fast forward to this past Wednesday, 5/22 - I took the Barkan Hot Yoga with Corbin, WOW!! AWESOME!! GREAT INSTRUCTOR!! And, I was way in over my head but jumped in and Corbin couldn't have been more helpful, understanding and very patient with my out of shape self. For the first time in an exercise situation, I did the moves at my level of comfort and Corbin only encouraged me with my water downed moves, oh and I say water downed because the HOT part was AWESOME, but oh the sweat, LOVED IT!! Less than 1 star if I could. YogahOME, owner Corbin publicly accosted & fired me in front of many yogis on Wed night.   He accusingly said he "Caught Me" leaving class early. I'm 60 years old and have suffered with vertigo and ADHD for 40 yrs. I left 5 min early before I passed out. Yoga has been so healing for me and now I only feel less than and humiliated. DONT join this studio if you're not perfect or practice with a disability. All it offers is Judgment. He cancelled my membership and wished me luck in finding a studio that could accommodate "my needs" where I won't be disruptive. This message is on my voicemail. OM, which they think they cleverly use in their name, stands for compassion and connection. There was no OM here for someone like me. I joined here on the request of Jimmy Barkan. They have heated and non heated rooms that are beautiful and very clean. Unlike so many other studios, yoga hOMe provides classes at all levels. Vibe was smooth- tranquilfront desk helpful- Corbin one of the instructors toured me briefly before class- although he taught the hot (using infra-red) not usual floor heat- supposedly better- my 75 min class with Melissa awesome- just a nice balance of breathing- asanas-n flexibility as to " no judgment"- going back on Wednesday the 9th for class- I bought the unlimited class $25 for 2 weeks! I'm so thrilled that Corbin Stacy opened Yoga Home in Pompano. Yoga Home is top notch in every way! Each room is beautiful! The floors are awesome to practice on- which is sooo important! They are so comfortable that i don't have to use the knee pads that i used at other yoga studios. The decor is so welcoming... and so is the staff! The teachers are fantastic. I have tried almost every teacher, and although i have a few favorites- i have definitely liked every single one! A super important quality i must mention- Yoga Home is kept incredibly CLEAN. I am a total ocd germaphobe- and i can confidently say that this place is kept super clean! As if all of this wasn't enough- they give you a cold aromatherapy towel at the end of every hot yoga class! If you haven't tried this place- you absolutely must do it. I was a member of Awakening for quite some time.. and I loved their studio so sad to hear that they were not able to make it.. When they closed I received an email that Yoga Home would be accepting the Groupon I had just purchased (the only reason we even drove to pompano). When we were greeted by the owner we explained the situation, and his response made us feel like we were "low" class for purchasing a Groupon and he explained that they do not accepted discounted rates, and that this was the reason the previous studio closed.. I was so in shock by the negative energy I was just greeted with and the judgement I felt.. while was explaining what I could purchase all I could do was turn around and not enjoy my yoga practice for the day. Hopefully this review will reflect this issue for future occurrences. read more
