I am trying to get back to yoga after a decade long break and tried Yoga6. Fantastic studio - very clean, wonderful practice room. Studio is very easy to get to and there is plenty of parking around. Admin staff is wonderful and attentive. I tried Slow Flow and Hot classes so far, and I loved both. Teachers that I had - Bonnie and Tatiana - both have very distinctive and very different teaching styles, and I love them both. I am looking forward to many practices together. If there is one thing this working mom would ask for is lunch time classes and some early afternoon weekend classes :) Looking forward to trying Sculpt and Flow one of these days. read more

Fantastic Studio! I took a class with Alyse who was so cosmically and consciously connected. Was a magical experience.

It's a frustrating experience. I would never go back again! In the beginning, I signed up for the trial lesson for the first month. But I didn't know you have to continue for the second month, it's like a bundle, so they charge me 88 for the second month. After the second month, because I have a travel plan, so I'm out of the country, I applied to cancel my membership toward the end of my second month. However, it said they need another 30 days to process the cancellation, so they charged me 169 for the third month. I haven't gone to my class since the middle of the second month, and now they charged me for the third month even though I will be absent. it's ridiculous, even like Amazon, maybe it takes a month to process the membership cancellation, but they wouldn't charge you for another month to process the cancellation. I like their instructors and classes, but the payment process is just frustrating and disappointing. If you ever want to go to the trial lesson or sign up for classes here, watch out for the 30 days cancellation. read more

I tried the yoga 101 class with Bonnie for the first time yesterday! I really enjoyed the class it was not very fast for beginners and also at a great pace so we could all follow. She also told me if I needed to do changes in my posture which was helpful! I found it very relaxing and calming and definitely want to come back again! read more

I love the instructors in Yoga six. They have different levels of yoga classes you could choose to take. It is not only the yoga you usually see, it's fitness, yoga, strength training. It really makes my body feel good and stay strong. I love it! read more

Absolutely loved my first hot yoga class with Bonnie! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, I felt good vibes right when I walked in. The room was HOT but it really helps you break a sweat! Bonnie was a great instructor, she came by to make adjustments because I did choose "yes" for the adjustment card. The fact that they offer you an option is very considerate for people who prefer not to be touched. The movements were beginner friendly yet challenging at the same time. I walk past this studio every time I work out at Orange Theory Fitness. I knew I needed to do something increase my flexibility (for OTF and swimming). I decided to stop by and ask a few questions. From the moment I set foot into YogaSix and attended a class, I was hooked. In short, I couldn't imagine a better, more welcoming experience for learning Yoga as a total newby. The front desk staff and all the instructors are both generous with their time in answering questions and super friendly. You can tell they love what they're doing. The facilities are first rate. You can show up in gym shorts and a T-shirt and they supply mats (for a nominal rental fee), blocks, straps, and bolsters so it's very accessible. I think anyone who's hot Yoga curious should go here, meet the staff, and try a class. read more

Note this is a HOT yoga studio. The front desk staff (aka "wellness advisors") are very friendly and nice. There is a good variety of instructors and different types of classes you can take (Sculpt, Power, Slow Flow, Hot, Restore and 101). They have added and increased the number of classes from time to time, if enough requests have been made, so they are very accommodating in that regard. The studio is pretty clean and booking the class on the app is very easy. And they have a good selection of merch and gear (yoga mats, towels, blocks, clothes, massage balls, etc.) to browse, shop, and buy. The location makes it convenient for me. If you are close to Stanford Shopping Center, they have another studio in Palo Alto. Definitely recommend - check it out first and try the different classes - it does get super hot and sweaty in some classes so it might not be for everyone. You can buy "packs" to try it out or sign up for the monthly membership. Bring a friend - makes it more fun! (My one request is if they can blow some cool air sooner than later for the more crowded and sweaty classes like Sculpt - it gets gross when the windows steam/fog up and the mirrors/walls are dripping wet - eck! They should adjust for bodies in the room. When it's crowded and people are huffing and puffing from the cardio workout, they need to circulate more air in that tight space. Many of us would appreciate that and enjoy the class much more. It's already hard enough to take that class with the hot temp. jacked up, but the stuffiness is NOT a good happy place to be and discourages me from wanting to attend, which is a huge bummer.) read more

I was brand new to yoga when I started going to YogaSix in Mountain View. To say that I immediately felt welcome and comfortable is an understatement. The staff there are so kind. I walked by YogaSix on my way to Stretch Lab a few times and decided to give it a try The studio is clean and tidy, which is always appealing. I hadn't been to a yoga class since pre-lockdown but I teach Pilates and workout regularly. The only class that fit my schedule was Y6 101, which I though would be a little slow or easy. My favorite class is sculpt and flow instructed by Desiree. She has a great loving and humorous personality and is the most amazing teacher I've ever met. She encourages you to workout at your own pace and do your own thing (like dancing) but also encourages you to do your best at that moment! She reminds us to honor and listen to our bodies. I attended a yoga class a couple Fridays back and finally had some time to share my thoughts and experience at Yoga 6 Mountain View! I took the Y6 Slow Flow class, taught by Eleni that day. (A lengthy review, but my first experience was very noteworthy.) The studio is amazing. The location has a lot of parking and is in an community/eatery plaza. When you walk in to the lobby, my very first thoughts were on their excellent cleanliness and the space of the studio. The bathrooms have a lot of place to move around, and was very clean. A very cool water refill system as well. They also have a pro shop you can buy apparel and yoga equipment from. The staff was super friendly! And checking in was so easy and stress free. I absolutely LOVED the actual class. I have taken 1 yoga class at a different studio years back and have participated in other yoga classes prior to this one, but the flow and level-of-difficulty is good for anyone in beginning yoga to experienced. The ambience of the class and studio (where class was held) was perfect. I loved everything about the class, from the instructor to the poses we did, to the temperature of the room, down to the music. This was also my first experience at a fitness center since covid has taken over the world, and I was very comfortable because of how clean everything was (brought my own mat, masks worn and everyone was appropriately distanced!) The instructor was very good at recommending other versions of positions for those are not familiar with the practice. The mic/speaker was at the perfect volume and the instructor's voice was very soothing and easy to follow. I enjoyed her class, energy was great. Overall, I was super impressed with my experience at Yoga Six Mountain View and look forward to taking another class here soon! I went to class with a friend, I definitely recommend it, (your body's will thank you for it!!) but I also would be totally comfortable attending class on my own, as I didn't feel like a stranger to the class, and it made it that much greater of an experience. I had a great time, really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the staff and how great I felt after class, mentally and physically. I would love to take the Slow Flow again or try another kind of class they offer! I definitely recommend coming to the studio and checking it out.
