The intro class is again, very similar to the Club Pilates intro class where they basically just show you the basics of the reformer, although I will say this class was longer than the one at Club Pilates and felt closer an actual class. There is a pretty big (but busy) parking lot since it's in the same strip mall as Apna Bazar and Felipe's Market. I don't live close enough to this studio to justify signing up for a membership, but it seems nice if you're looking for a Club-Pilates style studio.

The hot yoga session wasn't steaming hot that the mirrors will fog; they just turn up the thermometer to 80 degrees. I had no trouble following the positions and moves throughout the session, except I'm not flexible enough to flex backwards like a sandwich. After an hour session, we clean the equipment and handed cool eucalyptus towels to wipe the sweat off. Smells good and relaxing after hot yoga. Valeria was kind to ask everyone how's the class and the assistant made me sign a waiver and take a photo despite I was in a rush. I would definitely come back when I'm around Sunnyvale. Overall, it's a small studio with restrooms, a cubbyhole, and a mini clothing store in one place. It's conveniently located at the corner of the Orange parking garage. My absolute favorite classes so far are CP1 candlelight with Geraldine on Tuesdays and CP1 with Winnie on Saturdays. They're both amazing instructors, super motivating, supportive, and make every class such a positive experience. The studio itself is great. Big, clean, and really welcoming. The class was small with the same number of students as instructors, about 12 people total. I received helpful hands-on assistance by an instructor during the class for a balancing pose. The class was nicely heated 97-98 degrees and the flow was a good challenge since I don't practice too regularly. Parking can be a menace so come a bit early to weave through the busy shopping plaza to the far side of the parking lot (go past the Wholefoods and all the way over to the Il Fornaio restaurant side). Then take a 5 min walk over to the second floor of the building where corepower is located.

Everyone at the studio is very kind and accommodating, they let you work at your own level and pace. They also allow you to borrow a mat, at no extra charge, if you happen to forget yours! I really recommend this place. I love all the instructors, the other students and the studio. The studio is small enough that it is doesn't feel overwhelming. Give this place a try! They are accommodating, engaging, and knowledgable. My favorite instructor is Alejandra. I really feel like finishing a good workout after her class. She is attentive to students by correcting their forms. She is such a great teacher, making us use every part of muscles and challenging yet encouraging us. I think that is why her class gets full so fast. I was taking the pilates class here everyday during the summer when I was pregnant a couple years ago. I think it helped me to push my baby! :) Staff at the front are always friendly too.
