Wow ! Victor is so ahhhmazing , I've been taking his classes for a few years now . We recently moved to Florida and NOTHING CAN COMPARE ! Makes me sad , wish I could fly him down every morning for us . We miss him so much , it's funny he used to tell me in class yoga is so much more then the asana part . Boy was he right , I wish I could share space with him now and he could see my yoga now , I've advanced so much from his work and words . I've carried it with me into my meditation and I'm forever grateful that I had such an amazing instructor to guide me through it . Thank you victor ! Can't say enough good things about Yoga with Victor. He is supportive, down to earth, fun, and challenges yogis to explore and experiment with their individual practice. Loved his hot classes at The Yoga Room in Queens for a few years, and was so relieved he went virtual in spring 2020 -- all live for a real class feel. Class is always fresh, and Victor offers real time guidance throughout. I'm doing more yoga than ever as a result, which is made possible by a stacked schedule each week with classes in the morning/afternoon/evening. He's built an amazing community and is committed to making the platform even more robust over time, with a growing team of instructors and offerings (meditation, pilates, barre, etc). Victor is a professional, knowledgeable, fun yoga instructor, offering a strong flow, with impeccable cues. Victor offers several modifications for poses so if you're feeling good you can go deeper into the posture, and if your having a low energy day you can take it down a notch. Victor is consistently reliable and punctual, offering a 7 days weekly schedule with various times for everyone. I subscribe the monthly pass with the goal of daily yoga, which in reality ends up to be 4-5 X a week. read more

This is a long overdue review. I moved from LA to NY 3 years and was looking for a good hot yoga class. After trying multiple studios and instructors I finally found Victor at the Yoga Room! I fell in love with the way his classes are set up and since then have followed him to other studios he would teach at. Since covid, Victor has set up a platform for online instruction, as well as safe and socially distanced hot classes. His class is unlike any other yoga classes I have taken in many ways- his instruction is clear and concise, he leads you through positions that flow perfectly into one another, his music is AWESOME, and you always know you're going to get a good workout with his class! Where do I even start? Victor is the kind of yoga teacher that inspires you to come as you are and love that person. His background knowledge as an Occupational Therapist sets him apart from other teachers. His flows make sense and have a functional application. He is down to earth and his jokes often have the whole class cracking up. He has created a "virtual room" that feels like we are all there together practicing and bringing good energy! He leads meditations that I love 'zooming' into from work. I'm a healthcare worker and it's been a stressful year TO SAY THE LEAST. Victor's classes were a blessing. I hardly ever write reviews but Victor's so good I had to. I'm really picky about yoga instructors in many ways - being anatomically correct, having flows that are more than just warrior 1 & 2, and many other things. Victor exceeds all of my excessively high standards and I can't recommend him high enough!!! He's real and incredible and the only downside is when his classes are too popular for me to get a spot. Victor and his colleagues are incredible instructors. I've been using this inbox-based subscription service since March 2020. My practice has deepened, my body has strengthened, and my mind has felt focused and clear. Even though I can't be in the studio, Victor's subscription service reminds me that I do have a yoga community and a teacher who supports my development as a yogi! Victor is my Favorite yoga teacher and his class has been my top yoga class over the last 4 years. Every class is choreographed and well thought through. Where to start? My husband and I been taking Victor's classes religiously since he first started teaching. His practices are unlike any other we've experienced in our 15+ years of practice and countless instructors -- equal parts physically challenging and rejuvenating, focused and lighthearted. And at the end I feel like a new person, always a bit sore. Victor's yoga classes are wonderful. I love that I can practice from the comfort (and safety) of home. Even in a "crowded" zoom class you feel like Victor is looking out for your alignment and cares about your practice (both physical and mental). Everyone has their own preference in teachers and the vibe and style, but Victor is one of those universally loved teachers! His style is smooth, calm yet challenging and powerful.
