After being a member for 1.5 years, I cancelled my membership, on 06/2026, primarily because of unpleasant experiences with one of the instructors that I barely took classes from. The only details that I'll share is that I talked to studio about it twice (because it happened twice). Going any further would probably just devolve into [insert adjectives + nouns here] and I'd rather evolve, elevate, and uplift. Let's get started... Unpleasant experiences are never fun, but they are always opportunities for growth. Rather than ask yourself "Why me?" ask "What am I suppose to be learning from this experience?" When I explore the latter question, what I eventually realize is that it's all a "blessing in disguise" and that "everything is perfect." So...what am I supposed to learn from all this? That you MUST believe in yourself even if no one else believes you, even if it means you have to leave EVERYTHING behind, even if it means you have to stand ALONE. The reason why I say this is because INTERNAL TRUTH will always be more valuable than (fickle) EXTERNAL ACCEPTANCE/APPROVAL/VALIDATION. The caveat to this is if you messed up and you KNOW it, then be accountable and own it. Don't lie to yourself and then begin trying to convince the world to believe your lie. The last thing I want to say is if you do decide to get into Yoga, regardless of the studio you decide to join, you're going to hear a LOT of the instructors say "set your intention" before every class. What I recommend you do is question why they're saying that at all. The reason why I suggest this is because every instructor that I've come across that says this, fails to mention that you also have to open up your heart & mind to see the "signs" that will tell you when it's finally time to move and take action. If "setting your intention" is the ONLY thing you do, you won't get you very far. You ARE going to have to work for it. It's not going to get handed to you for free (or for very little effort). So work for it because you are WORTH IT and NO ONE will EVER be able take that (your worth) away from you!!! In my opinion, the best yoga studio in North County. I've tried a lot of studios over the years, but this one really stands out. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and calm, and the space is beautifully designed. It's always clean and has plenty of room for everyone, but still feels cozy and inviting. The instructors here are fantastic. They each bring their own style and passion to the classes, making every session unique and enjoyable. Whether you're a yoga pro or just starting out, they offer the perfect mix of challenge and support. They take the time to get to know you and offer personalized adjustments, which really makes a difference. One thing I love about this studio is the variety of classes. As a complete beginner to yoga, I was a bit hesitant to dive in. I had tried other places and never felt comfortable taking a class next to more advanced yogis... However, this studio completely changed my perception of what yoga is. I've always been greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The space is clean, bright, and inviting, which immediately puts me at ease. The instructors here are fantastic. They're patient, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to explain each pose and provide adjustments (when requested) to improve my practice. I was also impressed by the variety of classes available throughout the week, most studios only have 3-5 classes whereas YogaSix has +8 which is great when you have a busy schedule. Whether I'm in the mood for a gentle, relaxing session or something more invigorating, there's always a class that fit my needs. The community aspect of this studio is another big plus. Everyone, from the staff to the fellow members, is welcoming and encouraging. It's a great place to connect with others and feel part of a supportive group. Overall, this studio has completely transformed my view of yoga. It's a fantastic place for beginners and experienced yogis alike. Best hot yoga studio in the Carlsbad / Oceanside area by far. The studio is beautifully designed--clean, modern, and inviting (with showers and locker rooms!). The variety of classes offered is fantastic, catering to every level from beginner to advanced. Each instructor brings their own unique style and energy, making every class a fresh experience. I love how they focus on mindful movement while challenging us to push our boundaries. I did a Yoga Teacher Training (6 week intensive) with Nicole V. at the North Carlsbad Studio in late Summer 2024. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had, and an incredible way to deepen my practice and knowledge of yoga, discover more about myself-- all while getting to know a group of amazing people along the way. Nicole is an inspiring and gifted teacher, and I'll take her lessons with me for the rest of my life. This studio has everything! I was worried about trying something new but the staff made the experience so easy. I can only afford one fitness membership a month so I have been looking for a place where I can do a variety of workout types to meet my needs. This studio offers both hot yoga and a mat Pilates classes so I can choose which type of class I need based on the day, whether it's relaxing yoga or high intensity Sculpt (with weights) or core work with Pilates.
