When I say everyone at this studio is the sweetest and so warm and welcoming I mean it. When you come to authentic, you show up for yourself and you set the expectations. It doesn't matter if you have never stepped foot in a studio or have been practicing for 20 years, Authentic is for everyone wanting to connect to their body. Amanda the owner has beyond made me feel comfortable in being uncomfortable as well as feeling accepted. Her practice is beautiful, the way she guides you through each class you feel supported even with 20+ students in the room. Leah's classes are also amazing, her chanting at the end really takes it home and leaves you feeling even more grounded. Scott's classes are tough and invigorating he gives such exciting and encouraging energy, if you don't feel confident in your practice Scott has some confidence and belief in you. The space is very clean. Mats, towels, blocks, and more is available. If you want great yoga and want to feel connected mind and body this is your place. If you want positive energy from not just the instructors but the students then authentic is for you. This place has become my safe haven being away from home.

You'll notice the gym suddenly has new harnesses and no longer use caribbiners for the climber to clip in. The caribbiner choice was Manger John Burkey's who wanted to save money. The question is now whether or not the wall is safe to lead climb. Its hardware has been there for over 35yrs and apparently management is still too cheap to call in a 3rd party to inspect and update it.
