I am a recent member here at YogaSix! I could not recommend this place enough. The vibes are immaculate, everyone I have met who works here is so lovely, staff and others included! They have a water station, bathrooms with feminine supplies (dry shampoo, tampons, hairties, etc.) cubbies for your shoes and bags, and great props for classes! I haven't needed to rent/borrow any mats or supplies yet, but I have heard they are decently priced and convenient! I have been going to the Restore class, which is conveniently 7pm-8pm after work and before bedtime, it's a perfect wind down. Colleen leads this class and shes PHENOMENAL! So sweet, so supportive, so calming, I appreciate her adjustments. Ashley at the front desk is so fun and sweet to talk too, very knowledgeable. Predatory billing practices ! I cancelled my membership and when I was unable to book classes thought that it was because my membership had ended. They did not call or email until after the end of the month, asking to pay for a month of services that I didn't know I was contracted for- had they called the day or week after the missed payment, I would have used the membership to the end. They emailed me like five times when I initiated my cancellation, it is my bad for mixing up the date but they should have tried to get in touch and get me in class, considering I'd been there three times a week for months. read more

I love the classes here! I enjoy coming with a friend who lives nearby on occasion- I do not live nearby. However as much as I enjoy my occasional visits, the sales pressure from their staff borders on harassment. I have received many calls, emails, and texts pushing me to become a member. I have told multiple employees via phone, email and text that I'm not interested. But the harassment continues. Even though I have opted out in writing and verbally. I'm tired of it. So be warned. If you go to even one class here you will never cease to hear from their office. I plan to report their SMS activity to the FTC it's illegal. Clean up your act owners. I took a Y6 Hot class here and really enjoyed it. Although I regularly practiced hot yoga during college, it's been over 2 years since I've taken a hot yoga class. I didn't find the Y6 hot class too challenging, but it was still a good workout. Kristi was great and provided clear instruction and good energy! The receptionist mentioned the hot room was heated to 105 degrees for class and while it didn't feel as warm as other hot rooms I've been in, it was still a comfortable temperature for a good sweat session. YogaSix Slabtown is conveniently located by NW 23rd and has lots of street parking around. The studio itself is small but very clean. And although I've only taken one of their six types of classes, I highly recommend visiting! I really appreciate the unique effort Y6 makes to create a good sensory yoga experience- from the changing colored lights in the practice room to the cool towel provided at the end of class. I've gone to a couple classes so far, Sculpt & Flow and Hot, and I loved both so much I signed up for an unlimited monthly membership! I was greeted right away, they even wrote the names of new members up on a greeting board, I thought that was a sweet thing to do to help folks feel welcome. The instructors were very friendly and approachable, checking in to see how the class went. A selling point for me was the number of classes each day, I feel I will have an opportunity to join a class when it works best for my schedule. I look forward to exploring more classes and becoming a part of the YogaSix Slabtown community :) read more

YogaSix is my favorite studio and I absolutely enjoy all of the classes. It was my first studio ever and all of the yoga instructors are so friendly and make me feel very welcome. I've been going here almost a year and it's conveniently walking distance from my apartment. It's been great motivation to do yoga and it prepared me for my wedding day on 10.2.21. It felt really amazing to see how far I've come in my yoga journey and it's been a de-stresser after a long day at work. I notice when I don't do yoga for two days, my back starts to hurt from working remotely. It has really improved my health and overall well-being. I'm super happy! read more

My favorite are the Restore classes (Thank you Colleen, Kristi and Emily!)--incredible for flexibility, mindfulness, relaxation and overall mental health. A great balance to more active classes. The studio is super clean and in a really accessible, walkable neighborhood. The staff do a great job catching you on your first day and walking you through what you need to know around the studio, as well as noticing when you walk in and asking your name to get you checked in - I'm always nervous about the awkward dance around not knowing what to do when visiting a new studio and YogaSix makes it super easy. I tried 4 different classes/teachers during my first week offer and feel confident that many people could find a yoga practice that suits them at this studio. Lots of information is given for each style of class on the website, and I found that people near me in class were happy to recommend their favorite class/teacher as well, which was really helpful. read more

I am so happy that Y6 opened up in this neighborhood. The amazing staff of Y6 teachers are knowledgeable professionals, kind and caring and will support you through your fitness goals and challenge you to stay the course! During the pandemic, they opened the studio with ultraviolet air filters and require everyone to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart. This has been a saving grace during this isolating time, a nice getaway from the monotony of working from home while also staying healthy, getting stronger and overall feeling better. They have lots of classes, which are one hour, and easy to squeeze into your schedule. Y6 is amazing. I don't know why everyone in this neighborhood hasn't joined yet!! Get down to Y6 now! read more

I've taken lots of yoga classes over the years, both virtual and in real life, and I can tell you that these are some of the best instructors you will find. Absolutely top-notch. That's why I keep coming back to their virtual classes. I live in California and I have lots of options out here for in person classes. And i do mix it up. But It's rare to find instructors who are really really engaged and give themselves over 100% to their practice like they do at Yogasix Slabtown. I absolutely adore practicing at YogaSix! The staff is comprised of outstanding instructors who are there to help you reach your best self whether you're well experienced or just starting out. Aside from a great staff, YogaSix offers a wide range of classes to best suit whatever mood you're in--from fast paced flow power classes and calming and slow restore classes, to consistent hot yoga sequences and high-intensity sculpt classes. Love this studio! I am doing a 3 day practice at Yogasix Slabtown just to change my scenery. Tomorrow will be my 3rd day and I'm truly sad it'll be over! My fiancé and I are staying in Portland tonight I missed it so much and was able to feel comfortable in Portland again thanks to my practice with Y6. I have been a member at the YogaSix in West Vancouver for about 7 months now and should be reaching my 100th class soon. Many of my teachers I met there also teach here at YogaSix Slabtown! It made me very comfortable to try the studio in a different city and state but knowing I had a sense of community there helped me feel comfortable. The owner Courtney has been impressive since day one. She runs social and manages the studio. She also takes classes and teaches dance! So inspiring. I really appreciate being able to take a 3 day break from Vancouver and my regular routine and try something new yet comfortable at the same time. I loved being able to bring food for charity and yoga at the same time. The clothes in the studio are adorable and the people are kind. I've been a member at YogaSix Slabtown for a couple years and have been thoroughly impressed with my entire experience. Everyone who works there is so friendly and has remembered and greeted me by name from day one. The studio is clean and inviting, the music and lighting add to the awesome vibe, and I haven't had one instructor who wasn't great. When they had to close for a brief time, they had regular interactive virtual classes and have continued to have that option available. They are communicative and inclusive, and they celebrate their students' accomplishments...I truly cannot say enough good things! read more

This studio has saved my sanity during COVID. They opened up right as everything shut down and immediately started offering online classes. I am a tad obsessed with having guided, personal yoga instruction from the comfort of my living room. The teachers are FANTASTIC! I love the variety of class styles and have really enjoyed going to classes outside at Wallace Park. This studio has truly become a community for me, even though I am mostly virtual. I've been coming here for about 5 months, I love the variety of classes here as well as the different styles of each teacher. Rachel D, Anika, and Ellie are all fantastic. I know it's a newer studio, but it's a lot nicer and consistent than a lot of studios I've been to in the past. The atmosphere here is really amazing. I really like this studio, they have different classes for pretty much every different variation of Yoga you'll need, staff is super friendly and teachers are great (Rachel is my favorite teacher). For me it works as a great complement for the HIIT I do, it really helps me on stretching of course but also using and building muscles that I don't normally use, depending on how my week goes the classes I like the most are Hot Yoga, Power Yoga and of course if you're sore, tired or just stressed out Restoration class is a life changer, it will make your body and soul feel like new. Also they've been doing a lot of promotions to get people so you should ask if they still have some of those and last but not least Courtney the manager of the studio is great and has a great sense of customer service. read more
