Good snacks and desi grocery store near Aliana. Prices are pretty reasonable and people are friendly to speak to.

Honestly, I am appalled at how this place is even still in service. They have horrible customer…read moreservice, never have any groceries available. And sell expired things. I used to buy my months worth of groceries from here, but stopped and go a bit further, because I would rather pay for quality. I bought rice from them recently, only to find literal bugs crawling inside it. So I called the store and one of the ladies said to bring it back. When I bought it back, the salesperson was very nice about it. But another lady who works in the kitchen, Nadia, was extremely rude. She had the audacity to say it's not something we produce, I said I understand that and that she can at least exchange it with a same priced rice, so she said no we don't do that. The rice literally had bugs crawling all over it, and when washed even more light brown colored bugs show up. Imagine selling that type of nonsense. I have never been to a place such as this, the manager was not in, and she was just rude. Save your money and go somewhere else. There are 20 other grocery stores in this area.

Living 4 hours away from this Filipino supermarket makes me shed a tear a little. I was in Houston…read morefor the weekend and I asked my friend who was originally from Houston where a good Filipino spot would be to eat. He immediately said "Seafood City! It has everything!" So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. Everything here was light and bright and it smelled clean. Would I come back? Only if I'm in town. Next time I'll bring a big cooler.

The Pancit and fried pork belly were my favorites, and I really enjoyed the suka for dipping. They give you plenty of rice, perhaps too much lol After eating, I walked around the store and was impressed by the selection of Asian groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and just about everything you might need, with a strong focus on Filipino brands. There's also a bakery and dessert section with halo-halo (always tempting), plus another vendor selling soups. The food court has a good amount of seating, though it can definitely get busy depending on the day. Overall, a great place to check out if you're looking for something you don't normally see. Glad to have this as part of the local Asian grocery scene alongside places like H Mart, 99 Ranch, and HK Market..
