We went to Yogi's in between soccer matches at a high school soccer tournament. The wait was forever and the owner was very rude. He was almost dismissive with some of the questions we had. In essence, he was a jerk. The salmon that I ordered was overcooked and dry. I would not recommend Yogi's to anyone unless you want to be treated poorly and use a filthy bathroom. read more

5 stars for service!! I ordered 4 California rolls today because of their weekly cali roll discount and they accidentally mixed up one of the boxes and I realized I only have 3 rolls when I got home. I called them and was expecting that they would give me credit for the next time I order, but the cashier offered to deliver my missing roll and an extra roll to compensate for the mix up. Please keep in mind that each roll was only $2.99 and they really could've just offer me credit and call it a day, but this little hole in the wall showed great quality customer service that I never expected! The sushi is terrible. Not fresh at all. I ordered a Hawaiian roll and it looked like it had been sitting there waiting to be cut, the rice was soggy. The crunch roll was not fresh at all. I never saw them go and bake any shrimp so clearly it was also sitting out. The only thing that was good was the Philly roll. Seaweed salad was ok, not worth saving and not worth $7. But yea I wasted $40 because I tipped. I'm so disappointed. read more

I live across the street so I come here once in awhile. Service is friendly and fast, and there's a quaint seating area, though I mostly take the food to go. This restaurant is located in the same shopping center as stated brothers and del taco. I usually get the chicken veggie bowl, but recently I've had an insatiable craving for tempura, and boy was I psyched when I found out they serve tempura too! They also serve bento boxes, except they're called T&T combo, meaning teriyaki and tempura (I confirmed this with the friendly cashier.) They have recently jumped on the poke craze and serve poke as well. I haven't tried it so I can't comment. Look for the weekly specials. On Monday and Tuesday they offer half off California rolls, so I believe $3 for 8 rolls? They're constantly running new specials so look around the shop for those. For chicken lovers- their chicken can be a little dry, so if you're looking for moist chicken, maybe get the beef instead. It's grown on me though, and it's good with veggies. read more

Been coming here for the better part of 15 years, maybe longer. Probably since opening and they are good., This review specifically is due to a continued bad experience with a tall white server, with a bad attitude and zero customer service ability. They can't be that desperate for staff. After a 27 minute wait for a to-go order I asked if we might have gotten missed since they were 8 numbers past our number. He rudely replied "no" without even turning around and the. Said they were really busy. After a few moments, he decided he could be troubled to look at the pass/window and sure enough, our food had been sitting there for 5 plus minutes. Not wanting to admit he was wrong, since he was now embarrassed and caught, he proceeded to place out order on the side, do like 3 random tasks and then calls us up to grab our order as were all starting like WTF. Then just kind of tosses it our way totally a D-bag.. if it wasn't the same crap the last 3 times, I might have ignored.. Can't stand that BS and frankly it's what's killing restaurants in the area.., Just a simple smile and decent service is not too much at ask. I get you are busy, you don't have to moronic. read more

Rude manager and unpleasant service: I've never had any bad experiences here but yesterday i was accidentally given the wrong order and didn't realize until i got home ( 20 min away). I immediately called to let them know but the manager was extremely rude and blamed it all on me. He said it was my fault for picking up the wrong order and that he couldn't do anything about it. He handed me the order without checking my receipt so i instantly trusted this was the correct order. I work in the area so I come here once awhile to grab lunch, usually do a phone order and look at the menu online. Recently I was very disappointed because I do the usual of looking at the online menu, order through phone and one of our coworkers goes in to pick up the food. I ordered the KBBQ RIB Plate which online clearly says $11.99. When my coworker came back she said wow that was $16.19... In my head I knew it never was that much because if it was I would just go to an all you can eat kbbq afterwards if I was paying that much. Anyways gave them a call back and said that the price was incorrect online and the gentlemen said the prices are subject to change and should be written somewhere on the menu below which did not say anything. He then said the menu in the restaurant said that and obviously I'm not there in person to read that so how can I know, hahah well anyways my experience with them went down the drain and the customer service was horrible. Instead he offered to give me credit for the 5$ extra charge but instead I returned the 3 slack of ribs that was clearly not worth 16$. I will admit that I am a fan of Yogis. However, I will reserve the 5-star "as good as it gets" rating because I think there may be room for improvement. I love the rolls and tempura. The teriyaki is average. The dining area is small, but clean. The owner is a "character" and may give you the wrong impression (you just have to come back a few more times to dig deeper). I live really close to this place and it's a great spot if you want a quick bowl or some sushi. It's affordable and they have different deals for every day of the week. Our favorite thing to get are the T and T which I think it's just teriyaki and tempura and it comes with a side salad and a couple pieces of California roll. Anytime I'm randomly craving Asian food this is my go-to spot. They also have poke bowls as well, but I haven't personally tried them. read more

I feel like this place has been here on El Toro forever. I've been here many times in the past but it does seem like maybe over the last few years either owner or management has changed. You are greeted by a very friendly cashier who makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed. There are lots of options to pick from but I wanted a variety of items so I decided to go with the chicken and beef teriyaki and tempura combo. It comes with rice, salad and a couple California rolls for a very good price. The food was brought out to my table by the cashier who helped me out. It was a lot of food so if you're hungry you are excited to chow it all down. The sushi and tempura were nice and fresh. Good crispy outside to the tempura. However I will say that the teriyaki itself was just ok. The ratio of chicken to beef didn't make sense as it should be half and half. And the chicken tasted slightly old.
