    Baked Salmon Roll
    Karina H.

I usually come here for the chicken teriyaki bowls, which are always good, but this time I decided to try the sushi. I ordered the salmon baked roll and it was delicious. The sauce was perfectly balanced, and every bite had an even mix of salmon, rice, and flavor. Nothing overpowering, just really well put together. The cashier was friendly, and while the place is small inside, there are a couple of seats if you want to eat there. Definitely glad I tried something different and I'll be ordering this again.

Plate A: Teriyaki Chicken with 4 piece California Roll and Steamed Veggies

My new favorite lunch spot since I started working at Fairview Plaza. Very friendly staff and everything I've tried has been great. They have some nice variety for a teriyaki spot. The pic is Plate A which comes with a 4 piece California roll, great for when I can't decide between Teriyaki and Sushi. So far I've had that, the Korean Corndog which was really cool, the Spicy Pork Bento Box which is one of my new favorites, tender and tasty, and the Chicken Yakiudon which I also really liked. I'm a big Udon fan so that's right up my alley. Solid portions too, I always end up full no matter what I get. Make sure you grab some sriracha, goes great with the sauce!

This place is so delicious. Hands down some of the best tasting. Very friendly staff. There's no reason not to come here and taste for yourself. I discovered today that they also have sushi! So I ordered a crunch roll. I'm sure it will taste just as good as their chicken bowls!

The American Roll is soooo goood. chicken bowl's are always a really good and they give a good amount of chicken. Rarely the chicken is a little burnt but that's the only complaint. The workers are very nice and the environment is welcoming. Variety of food is also amazing. Overall really good Japanese food.

Love this little teriyaki spot. My husband was skeptical at first but when we were served our food the server said he gave us more food since we were sharing (,: honestly the flavor of the chicken was awesome I didn't realize they actually use a bbq grill to cook the chicken until the end. Give this place a try !

I would always come to this place for lunch and it has never disappointed. I love teriyaki food and this place hits the spot. It's a small restaurant that looks like a couple runs the place. They're a nice and friendly duo. I always order the same thing and they remember me as a customer which is nice. The reviews before were bad but I believe that was previous owners. I only have positive things to say.

The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere with soft, yellow lighting that makes it feel cozy. Service was attentive from the beginning, with the server checking in regularly. I checked in at 8:05, was seated by 8:10, and got my food around 8:30. I ordered the Miso Bacon Carbonara which was delicious. The sauce was rich and creamy without feeling too heavy, and the miso added a sweet flavor that made it different from a traditional carbonara. The bacon was cooked well, crispy around the edges while still tender and the slight kick of spice kept each bite interesting. Overall, I'd definitely come back for this dish. I did like that parking was not an issue as there were many spots. service was pretty good. the dishes were small so be prepared to spend about at least $40+ each. -Hamachi crudo: nothing too special about it. only 5 pcs of hamachi. -Pork jowl: expensive dish considering the pork jowl were cut so small and portion was little (we had more lettuce cups than the pork itself) -Dashi pesto: this one was good. unfortunately, there was only 3 scallops. for a $30 dish, it prob needed another scallop. -Vongole: another good pasta dish. the sauce used was great. pricy dish however. -Miso bacon carbonara: this one seemed like it was their most popular dish. very creamy. tasted pretty good. I liked the egg yolk to make it creamier. -Momonoki chicken wing: don't bother. not worth it. overall, they've seemed to nail it on the pasta dishes. I liked all of the 3 we ordered. we were still hungry after the meal but ran out of budget.

We came on a Saturday just before noon, and our wait was less than 10 minutes. There's only a small waiting area inside, which probably explains why you often see a line of people waiting outside. The wait was absolutely worth it. Once we were seated, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the interior was. It honestly felt like stepping into a restaurant in Italy, bright, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It looks like a great spot whether you're dining as a couple or celebrating with a larger group. Since it was our first visit, our server was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and let us know the dishes have Japanese influences. If you're craving fresh pasta and pizza with a unique twist, this is definitely a place to add to your list. Everything we ordered was delicious. The flavors were fresh, clean, and balanced and not overly seasoned, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine. Our favorites: * Truffle Cheese Bread - You HAVE to order this. The cheese pull alone is worth it! * Kids Meal - The chicken nuggets and fries were surprisingly delicious, and it came in the cutest little Kei lunch pail that my daughter loved. * Branzino Piccata - Fresh, light, and perfectly cooked. * Spicy Miso Carbonara - Rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat. It definitely has a little kick! We were celebrating my daughter's commitment to a sports team, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary brownie for dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration even more special.
