Parking shouldn't be an issue. Quality of Food: There is such a large variety options. I wish I ordered a small bowl rather than a regular size. We love coming here. One trip is plenty of food for us and can even have enough to take home leftovers. They have great service and are not very busy. Parking lot has plenty of parking in the strip mall. They have a decent variety of meat and vegetables. I love that they put the noodles on after you are done filling up your bowl with stuff. They also do the sauce as well if you want or you can tell them what to use. The place is quiet and they used to have a TV on but this time it was just music. It's called Red Peak because they are peak, okay, I shouldn't be allowed to make jokes. This is probably the gold standard in the area when it comes to Mongolian BBQ, even if they lack many of the qualities you may come to expect from the cuisine like lamb or pocket bread or even rice. That doesn't mean there isn't plenty to still enjoy though, and they just make a delicious dish with solid ingredients. They have AYCE options or single bowl, so if you can stick around you don't have to stuff a bowl, but they also have flat meat so it's not all rolls that take up air space, so a single bowl is more than sufficiently usually. The prices have admittedly continue to increase, but I can't say it's particularly egregious compared to the market price. The sauce flavor profile is a bit sour, but that could be a me problem because I keep on mixing everything. I think I can have a more discernible palate to make the perfect dish. They use classic egg noodles which is honestly all I'm looking for and had the same nostalgic flavor as the mall variants. TIP: Use flat meat to stack better. read more

Our family really likes a decent Mongolian Grill type of restaurant, especially when its offers a one price AYCE option versus using a scale to weigh out your bowl of ingredients including the noodles. We stopped by here on a recent Saturday afternoon around 1600 hours (4 PM), since they close daily at 1900 hours (7 PM). We were all pretty hungry so, we all decided to go with the AYCE option for $22.99 for three adults, plus three soft drinks @$2.50 each ($7.50). Our hostess at the register was very friendly and helpful, explaining their AYCE procedures. Pre-Tip Total: $76.47 + $6.66 Tax = $83.13 When we walked in, half the tables were occupied already, and every cooked plate looked delicious. The tables and floor were clean, as well as the buffet areas where all the ingredients for the diners to choose from, were kept. The meat selection was pretty basic, beef, pork chicken, meatballs (tasted just like Costco's frozen meatballs) but plentiful. There were many veggie options to choose from, not a great variety, but enough basics to make a decent plate of food, once cooked. There are several seasoning sauces to choose from to add from chili oil, sesame oil, ginger oil, garlic oil, soy sauce. Cilantro and other accompaniments as well. The you can choose the sauce that is added to your bowl: BBQ, Teriyaki or Kung Bao. The noodles offered were Yakisoba, Rice Vermicelli, and Egg Noodles (Orange Colored Chow Mein Noodles). Staff will add your noodles to your bowl, once you choose what you want. It was also amusing to watch the pros who must dine here frequently. One of the rules is no smashing your chosen ingredients in the bowl, so you can add more ingredients. Some of the creative ways to fill those bowls like mountains without spilling over, amazed all three of us. I have to admit, I had a little sticker shock, when I saw my bill total was close to $95, which included the tip. But for an AYCE eat Mongolian Grill, we will stop by here whenever we get that craving. read more

The one plate is very generous so you've really got to be hungry to make all you can eat it pay out. There are a bunch of rules if you decide to do all you can eat posted on the wall. Once you pay, you get a bowl to fill with the meats & veggies. If you have kids, you might encourage them to fill their bowls. You can either eat their leftovers or take them home with you. The meats include meatballs, beef, pork & chicken. Too many vegetables to choose from. Three types of noodles. Vermicelli, egg & something else I can't remember. Two of us went egg and while the nameless noodles were good (the other 5 people got them) I think the egg is superior. You pick some sauces and the chefs cook up your meal. Hot & fresh! They had chicken, beef, pork, meatballs and crab for meats. I liked the large variety of veggies they offered. I tried the BBQ sauce along with the other sauce options and had the vermicelli noodles. Very tasty. I will be back, but next time no noodles, with the veggies and the combination of sauces it's delicious! I got the all you can eat option. I used to come here in the last few years once I discovered it. I used to live two hours out, and have brought my friends and family here to enjoy it during a trip to Disney. Today was my last time visiting here, i understand inflation, but $60 for two people was insane. First of all I don't understand how a cook and a cashier can have attitude when patrons try to be friendly, but I also saw someone not wash their hands after handling the POS system. Gross. My partner and I both got all you can eat for about $14-18 ( I think) which was a reasonable price. We were full after 2 plates which we both really enjoyed. Their selections on meat is not huge but still plenty of options for everyone. Their veggie selection is good and has a variety of things. We also ordered some mozzarella sticks which were actually very tasty. We had a pleasant experience and we only spent about $40 for the both of us. ever since moving to Garden Grove, my bf and i always say that our BEST local find is this spot right here!! we LOOOVE mongolian grills! we first stumbled across this place actually meaning to go to the poke restaurant next to it, but then we saw this place and were like WE GOTTA TRY IT. and since then it has become a staple of ours. plenty of seating inside, they're always playing music of some kind (i love when they play kpop hehe), and the service is SOOO great. they are always so kind to us when we walk in, and we like to delude ourselves into thinking they remember us bc we would go that much haha. and Samantha who works there actually did remember us, which made us as regulars feel that much happier with this spot :) we always order the one bowl because you can really fill up the bowl with meat + veggies, and they HOOK YOU UP with the noodles (egg noodles are supreme). my perfect sauce combination has been lemon, little bit of hot sauce (it can get spicy!), cilantro, garlic, soy, and teriyaki sauce! and sometimes ginger but wowowowow it always comes out so perfect and i usually have enough to take home to take to work for lunch the next day. and again, the service is so kind here as they always check up on you and always greet you with smiles. now that i'm writing this review i'm realizing we haven't been back in about a month so we're definitely overdue for our mongolian grill kick! so we will be back soon and can't wait to enjoy the delicious food :) read more

SO glad I did - the amount of food you get with a one bowl is astounding. By the time you pile everything in to the bowl and get noodles and sauces, you've got yourself a 12" plate piled high with food. We didn't even finish our meals because of all the food. At first glance, the topping options are limited... however, once you're in there, there options are tremendous. A tip we got from watching the people in front of us... put some of the veggies in the bottom, line your meat around the edges, standing up, and that increases your bowl size. Then add the remainder of your veggies. This was a wonderful experience and I'd be happy to go back when we're back in town! There's the option of a one single bowl or all-u-can-eat, and if you can eat two or more bowls, it's definitely more worth it to get the latter option, but I was fine with one bowl which was relatively filling. However, if you're vegetarian, it's a little pricey considering you're paying the same as the bowl with meat. That was just a little disappointing, as several other Mongolian bbq's I've been have a lower price if you're not choosing meat. The place is not big, but even around 12 noon on a weekday, it was not crowded at all. There was probably only one other customer there. The entire place is relatively clean and the food looked fresh and had typical variety. Service was fine, and it's self serve so you don't need much help. The cooking was also fine. This is really just a place to get food, not really the kind of ambiance where you would feel comfortable staying and hanging out with your friends/family, but that's fine Overall, it's a pretty good place, just a bit overpriced considering the location, and I would have hoped they had different pricing for vegetarian. read more

Friendly staff and great value if you are able to pack enough items in the bowl they give you. My husband and I were craving for stir fry noodles and thought to give Red Peak a try as we haven't been here since they changed owners. We ordered one bowl to go and it costs $15.34 after taxes. After you pay, you grab a bowl and start adding all the items you want the cook to grill. I'm sure there is a strategy on how to pack the bowl which we didn't think about until after the fact. For example, their meat station has rolled frozen briskets, so because of how bulky it is, it's hard to fit a lot of items inside one bowl. Hence, something to consider when packing your bowl. We started with flatter items like vegetables then the frozen rolled brisket (it definitely overflowed outside the bowl) and the cook will add your noodles after. Before the cook cooks your food, he/she will ask you which sauces you want to add, we did almost all of them + teriyaki. Warning on the spicy saute, it was definitely spicy and we underestimated it. Overall, it was a great experience and the facility was clean for the most part. Just for comfort, we took our food to go, but there were customers dining at the restaurant too and I think it more beneficial to eat there if you plan to do the All You Can Eat. read more

First time here and haven't had Mongolian BBQ in a while so want to give this place a try. This is located across the street from Bank of America...passing the 22 Freeway. Plenty of parking. Inside looks very spacious. The reviews mention of AYCE and went for it with no hesitation. Here's how this works: You put on gloves and must keep it on at all times when getting your choice of veggies and meat. Shrimp, scallop and squid not include...so it must cost extra. You get one bowl and you put all your stuff from your choice of veggies and meat. Once done, you head to the front and there's more stuff like if you want egg or rice noodles. I guess portion control in order to prevent wasting a lot of food. At the end, you choose a variety of sauces like lemon or hot sauce. Finally, you choose one of three flavors: Kung Pao, teriyaki and BBQ by telling the cooks. Then you wait for it to be cook and enjoy once ready. I try the Kung Pao and Teriyaki. Both are good but I highly recommend the Kung pao. If you love Kung pao chicken, it does not disappoint. Highly recommend of going here if you are in the Garden Grove area. read more
