It has salmon inside and salmon on the outside, and they are definitely not stingy with the fish. No matter how many times I have it, it never gets old. Much nicer on the inside. This is a pleasant little hole in the wall which is a lovely followup if you just went to Planet Fitness across the street. Server was friendly and enthusiastic, and food was delicious. Grabbed a Tuna Bowl as well as a California roll because I was feeling basic. California roll was big enough for a meal on its own, but I'm glad I got the tuna bowl as well, because it was buttery silky tuna goodness. Excellent texture, taste, and a generous portion. We started going to this restaurant when it was Omni Sushi for years and recently it has changed to Honey Sushi. We are constantly visiting and exploring new sushi places and this location feels like home. The customer service and the sushi is top notch. The overall feel of the restaurant and overall experience here is not comparable to the many other sushi locations that we visit hence why we go a few times each month. Since the new owner took over, this sushi restaurant has completely improved. The interior has been beautifully renovated. The quality and freshness of the sushi and sashimi have noticeably gotten better, and the rolls taste even more delicious than before. Staffs are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was very attentive and kind. They are a small restaurant but they did their best to follow up with our needs. This restaurant is definitely a small business and attracts mainly locals. The size of the sashimi is huge and the quality is pretty decent. Their no rice rolls are pretty good but slightly bland. They did not have uni or yellowtail collar on the night I came, which they used to have years prior. I literally never write reviews but I felt this one was much needed. I have been coming here for YEARS as it's up the street from my house. Food quality, convenience and service has always been top tier. However, since it's been taken over new ownership/name, it hasn't been the same. Today I ordered the omoi special (my go-to), always small rolls with fresh fish and soooo yummy for summer, but this time I received massive rolls (can't really complain about that) with the worst cut! Very stringy and mushy pieces of fish that I had to keep spitting out every few bites because of how stringy and impossible to chew. On top of that there were two pieces that I bit into that had bones! I don't know if to blame the chef for not knowing how to cut sushi, assuming maybe this person lacks experience; or if it's a food quality issue. But I felt that ownership should look into this as it's a huge quality issue and possibly lose a long time customer. read more

I waited an hour and only got edamame, cucumber salad and a green tea. So we left. They gave us the food complementary and didn't charge us for anything while bagging our food and it being conveniently ready for us to leave. I guess that was nice of them. The Temptation roll I think I would give a 3.5/5, I think the garlic butter on the roll is a bit sweet and overbearing, taking away a lot from the actual fish of the roll. I'm always searching to find a good sushi restaurant that delivers because often the sushi doesn't hold up but Omoi Sushi really cares about your order arriving great! Each of the 3 rolls that I ordered were individually packaged in a small container so it didn't roll around and stayed nice. What was most impressive was that I ordered mochi (dangerous for delivery I know in 85 degree weather!) however I was SUPER IMPRESSED that my mochi arrived frozen and in perfect condition because Omoi Sushi packed it in ice! I miss the old omoi. I have been eating here for a couple of years now and the last time I had it I noticed it has lost its quality. The spicy garlic edamame was always my favorite and when I had it last, they had changed their garlic to what seems like jarred garlic. I can definitely taste the difference and it's not even good anymore. The lion king roll which I always get was also not the same anymore but it was still okay. I am so sad to see how what used to be my favorite sushi restaurant is not the same anymore. read more

My kids got the Chicken Katsu bento (lunch special) and I got the Salmon Teriyaki Bento (lunch special). The lunch special bentos come with miso soup, salad, mixed tempura, 4 California roll pieces, rice, and your entree choice. My kids said their Chicken Katsu was really good. The portion was generous. My salmon was cooked exceptionally well. It was a bit pricey for a lunch, but not beyond what I expect for a restaurant like this. My son lives nearby so we may be visiting again! read more
