Not sure how I've never reviewed this place yet. I've been to quite a few Fro-yo spots, and Yogo has by far the largest diversity of topping and froyo options. Their cake batter is the best of its flavor to ever grace my taste buds, and their ceiling high tubes of toppings leave the child (very much still) inside me ecstatic with every visit. The hardest part is picking the right color spoon to accompany your color scheme. If I had to complain it's that I'm a froyo fatty, and somehow I never get out with a cup less than $7 dollars. This self-serve yogurt cafe is owned by the company that runs Austin's and is where the Make and Take place was, by Panera. Seems geared for children and teens with bright colors and a wall of candy toppings. At least you control the portion by choosing a cup (large or larger) and filling it with whatever flavors you want. How many can a person fit into a cup before it becomes a mishmosh? They had interesting seasonal flavors such as egg nog. There are about 12 yogurts in 6 machines on one side, and you can do a twist too. Then you can add candy to your yogurt. People really want gummy bears on their yogurt? You take it to the register to be weighed, and you are charged by the pound. We tried the pomegranate-raspberry soft sorbet, which was clearly marked NON DAIRY, the only such category, too bad. The only thing I could think of to add to it was toasted coconut, which was pretty good actually. Is carob vegan? They have that. The sorbet was very flavorful and tasty. More non-dairy please, and don't say it can't be done, because Vegan Treats in Bethlehem has the most amazing vegan peanut butter soft serve. For some reason, I liked the colored spoons here. There are booths to sit in once you have made your creation, and there's a bar along the side with tall chairs. This should be really popular in the summer. read more

We stopped by the other day after eating a meal at Panera because we thought our 2 year old would really enjoy some "ice cream park" as he calls it. Sure enough he did enjoy it and finished off his own helping of frozen yogurt and toppings. I liked all the bright colors and fun relaxed atmosphere. I also like the wall of very easy to use topping dispensers. However I found the flavors of frozen yogurt (I believe they were peanut butter and cookies and cream) to not resemble the flavor I was expecting. I can't remember what my wife had, but she felt the same. Maybe stick to the fruity flavors they might be better then the more traditional ice cream flavors. This review is for the frozen yogurt and the cold pressed juice they sell through a local juice company in the area. The atmosphere of YoGo Crazy is so happy and upbeat and very child friendly with the Disney Channel on television. There are 12 self serve yogurt and sorbet stations. Stations are clearly marked so patrons with dietary restrictions are aware. Most of the toppings just range from crushed candy bars, cookies, gummies and pretzels which triggers sweet nostalgia. Carob chips and fruit are healthier options and yes, to answer a below reviewer's question, carob chips are vegan. They have the boba balls which I always found weird in appearance and taste to put on my fro yo - they kinda look like caviar to me and don't have the greatest taste but can probably make a cup of frozen yogurt look pretty even if it's just for Instagram. #DoItForTheInsta Speaking of making photo-worthy frozen yogurt, I like the colorful holographic tables here. If you have an iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy or at least a decent camera app besides Instagram, it provides an awesome, tricked out background that makes your frozen yogurt dish even prettier. Perhaps that's the original intent of the holographic tables? It's pretty neat, nonetheless. Lastly, it's pretty weird to walk into a fro yo shop and find cold pressed juice but YoGo sells it - but not to drink there which is a slight disappointment during those moods when I've returned from the gym and I am feeling more detox than diabetic coma. You buy the juice frozen and wait for it to thaw out overnight. It has the freshest taste which I believe is also non gmo and organic. The brand is called Fountain of Life and it's local so you can definitely find out more research itself. The con is that it's like $8 a bottle but natural health insurance, yaaaaas. read more

Nothing hits the spot like a nice saucer of yogurt, served frozen at this local, family owned venue. Prices are fair for the delicious treat, yet if you're hungry your wallet is sure to take a hit. I personally like to spend my evenings on the town, and when 11 o'clock rolls around I like joints like this one to be open, but Yogo's hours are more geared toward the family, closing at 10 pm at the latest. I've been to a lot of self serve froyo places so I'm gonna compare this to those. There is a vast selection of toppings, ranging from cereal and candy to fruit and other unique toppings, as well as a lot of sauces to choose from. There were about 15 flavors of froyo, some were gluten free or sugar free and they all tasted good. Price comes to 49 cents per oz, you get a 16 or 20 oz cup and fill it with whatever you'd like and they weigh it at the cashiers desk. It's fun and different so I'd recommend for someone who hasn't tried this concept before. My issue with this place was the price. I felt like it wasn't worth 6 bucks for the amount and quality of dessert that I had. In my opinion id rather go to cold stone or Dairy Queen and get really good ice cream for 3-5 bucks. So, in terms of flavor and price i'd rather go to another ice cream or froyo place but if you're really looking for a healthy option, this may be the best choice for you in this area. read more

My whole family enjoys this place. It's always packed! I find I can make a decent sundae & stay on my a Weight a Watchers plan. My kids like to load up on toppings. I only wish they had smaller serving bowls so the kids didn't waste so much. You pay by weight so it makes sense for them to have large bowls to fill. I don't understand why this place gets good ratings. The yogurt is not good. The only way it is tolerable to eat is if you drown it in toppings. The selection is vast, but quantity should not come before quality. The staff is very friendly. This place is also not cheap. Best yogo place in the area. Good hours. Cool bright atmosphere with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Fruit toppings are always expansive and fresh. Keurig for the parents (or anyone who doesn't want froyo.) Discount with your Chipotle or Panera receipt from next door. (edit: anyone know if they're still doing this?) Overall just the best. The only thing I don't like is how it seems like they change yogurt flavors so often, but they do post regularly on Facebook so you can see which flavors are arriving and departing. read more

They had a lot more seating available that most frozen yogurt stores, but the staff was very unimpressive. No one offered us a sample of yogurt, or a friendly smile for that matter. They did have a wide selection of different flavors to choose from, as well as, toppings. I am pretty partial to the sorbets and dairy free options, and I liked what was available here. First off the atmosphere is so fun, colorful and they play pop music which your kids are sure to love . There are so many different flavors of yogurt to choose from and they always have a sugar free option. There are at least 50 different toppings to choose from. Most are in tubes up to the ceiling. It is clean and has a large selection of toppings. I enjoy the member loyalty card, and it was my favorite fro yo place in the area. However, my favorite fro yo flavor is mint, so during the Christmas in July I was so excited to be able to have it. I got some over the weekend and returned the following Monday or Tuesday to fulfill my cravings once again. Of all the limited Christmas flavors mint was the only one that was sold out. I made a comment how much I loved the flavor to the cashier who politely said it was her favorite too and that the owner was here and I should suggest having it more often. I did just that and the owner was beyond rude. She told me that I was the only person who has ever requested the flavor and that they would never carry it. I was appalled to be treated so rudely, she could have simply said "ok we will look into it." I also don't know how I'm the only person in berks county who likes mint fro yo considering it was the only seasonal flavor that was sold out. Due to the complete rudeness I will not be returning.... I know they own Austin's as well which was my fav restaurant in the area, may have to give that up as well... read more
