Entitlement and disconnected at its finest I left an honest review, and instead of addressing the actual concerns, the owner responded with personal remarks. Nothing says "we value our customers" quite like trying to insult them. Let's talk reality: $0.85 per ounce. Two half-filled small cups = over $18. That's not premium pricing--that's testing how much customers are willing to tolerate. Then there's the attention to detail... or lack of it. The lids didn't fit, and I was told to push them inside the cup. At these prices, you'd think a correctly sized lid would make the budget. What's most telling isn't the pricing--it's the attitude. Instead of a professional response, it was dismissive and condescending. That's not a one-off either--just read the other reviews. Complaints about pricing, cleanliness, and service keep coming up. At some point, it stops being "unlucky experiences" and starts looking like a pattern. I support local businesses--but "support local" shouldn't mean "pay more and get less while being talked down to." If you're thinking about going, don't take my word for it--read the reviews and decide if it's worth it. 4/4/26 Shame one these owners. I don't care how nice they are does not give them the right to take advantage of people, the don't care about you. .85 a ounce not gram. Got 2 smalls , filled em half way , total was $18 and change. When asked for lid and it didn't fit the said "oh it goes inside " (CAUSE THEY ARE THE WRONG SIZE" Owners have no problem over charging but so cheap the can't supply the correct size lid !!! Another place you cannot bring your children to if money is tight , and it's tight for a lot of us. These owners are preying on the less fortunate. Fronting like they are nice people, or care. My opinion of Yogo Factory changed in the time it took me to open the door. Upon walking up, the Misses and I were like, "wow! look how big this place is!" The Misses called it "cute." Then, the backblast smell of Fabuloso almost knocked me back out of the door. Now, I know what you're thinking; "Fabuloso....that means they keep the place clean!" Wrong. This place is gross. Stains, spots, crumbs, crust, drips, peeling floors, cut and damaged seats, toppings literally fused together from sitting out for so long. The only saving grace, is that there is potential for the large space. You also would be wrong in thinking that because of all the aforementioned knocks, that you would at least be getting a good deal. You might THEN think that because of the expense, that you would at least be getting a quality product. Congratulations, you're wrong again. Again, the toppings tasted stale and, in the case of the Reese's peanut butter cups I unfortunately had, rancid. The Fro-yo itself was either flavorless, or just couldn't stand up to the grossness of the toppings. I couldn't have been more disappointed with every facet of my experience here. This place needs a SERIOUS overhaul. The girl at the counter didn't do anything while we were there, when she could have cleaned 300 different things. Toppings were not great at all. The whipped cream was sour and nearly inedible as well as the brownie topping. The past few times I have come here it has gotten progressively worse. Nothing is fresh, the yogurt is sour and the selection is half as many as it used to be. So many tastier (and cheaper) options in town. read more

This is a very spacious froyo place with plenty of seating and topping options, but the flavors tasted artificial. I probably wouldn't go back because I don't think the quality of the product is high, but I do like the flat rate pricing structure. read more

They have done away with the flat rate special which is what had drawn me in awhile back for the perceived value. Now, they still offer a flat rate cone but cups require hefty "per ounce" pricing which runs about 1.5x MORE expensive than the other local cool treat options for what is an inferior tasting product. The place is filthy. Dark dim lighting. Booth seats are ripping and tapped with masking tape. The only employee in the place, spoke next to zero English. Very difficult to ask any questions. The sign said .75cents per ounce , we were charged .78cents per ounce. When the final price was outrageous we attempted to inquire, and the response was rude and basically just "no no no" due to the language barrier. I assume he had no idea what we were saying or purposely ripping us off. Refused receipt upon request. Another customer who checked out after us reached out in the parking lot to confirm her dissatisfaction as well. And also felt ripped off. I would NOT recommend. What do u do when it's like 94 degrees in ur house and it's like summer scorching hot like summer but it's only May on NJ? Ok I just am so dying for something sweet and cool. This is my first time here and it's imo , better than Kiwi. Great selection, serve urself. Friendly, sweet and very helpful . But now am feeling pangs of guilt cause I missed a whole section of toppings that were calling my name tend, Snicket's, Reeses, cookies, Beth bar and Butterfinger s. Ok I admit it I went overboard and it was worth it. Price great. Was getting crowded about 7:30. Lots of families with their little ones couples et , very clean and comfy booths . This is another self serve frozen yogurt establishment to hit the area and it's good. They have a large selection of flavors and an even larger selection of toppings. The flavors we tried were more on the creamy side, not as icy. You create your own, you pay by the ounce. Pretty self explanatory. I for one welcome the new addition to Westmont cause one can only do so much ice and custard (blech). A hit in my book! read more

Place is okay if you need to get your fro-yo cravings. Quite expensive and nothing too crazy to rave about. Depending on the time of day, don't be surprised if a flavor is out for the day. For being a fro-yo place surprised they don't let you sample at the prices they are charging. Not the friendliest place when you walk in. One positive comment for the place is the many different seating options. Also noticed they have a HH special as well, for the fill up $5 special. Overall not my favorite place to go. read more

On a Friday night, we finally decided to stop in the Yogo Factory after driving by it numerous times. During busy hours their parking lot is busy and congested, so we parked on Haddon Avenue. Upon entering, the first thing I experienced was a huge whiff of cleaning chemicals. The whole place smelled like cleaning fluid. I really wanted to leave but my husband convinced me to stay. There were employees walking around but no friendly greeting. They weren't too busy at the time, only about 8 other patrons in the store when we arrived. If we'd never been to a serve yourself froyo place before, we would have been at a loss as to how this worked. There are numerous booths lining the windows on the front and the wall on the side. The opposite wall had a bar like counter attached to the wall with video displays showing Yogo information. The back wall had 8 "serve yourself" soft serve stations with each dispensing two flavors which could be swirled. There were a total of 16 individual flavors of either lowfat, non-fat, reduced fat, no sugar added soft serve yogurts. We each grabbed a container and started filling our cups. Much to our dismay, they do not offer sample cups, so you are stuck with whatever flavor you venture to try. This is unlike Yogurtland where you can sample as many flavors as you'd like. At 49 cents an ounce, that can really be an expensive waste if you don't like what you get. After filling our cups, we turned around to the toppings bar. There are numerous toppings from cereals, sprinkles, fruits, hot & cold toppings, etc. We went to pay and were glad to see a short line. The people in front of us paid with cash and then it was our turn. Much to our dismay, the check-out girl who had just handled money from the previous patrons (and I'm sure many more before them), opened her drawer and grabbed spoons for us holding the spoon side and not the handle with the same hand that she had just touched the money with. Eww. Unsanitary!! These young teenage employees need training on sanitary safety and germs. After paying for our yogurt, we sat at a booth and noticed that there was an employee cleaning other tables with a spray bottle of blue liquid -- this would explain the chemical odors we experienced while we were there. There's no outdoor seating that we could see, so there was nowhere to escape the chemical odors unless we stood outside. If you check in on Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare or Yelp, they will give you a free ounce (and yes, they will accept multiple checkins so you can get several free ounces). I was sad to read here on Yelp after we went there that they have frequent buyers cards. We weren't offered one. But then again, not sure I'll be returning. The froyo was average tasting and nothing to rave about. It's similar to other froyo establishments in the area. I'd probably visit again if I were with friends who wanted to stop by, but I'd much prefer Ritas Water Ice across the street or I'd even drive all the way to Hamilton, NJ 30 miles away to go to Yogurtland for premium froyo. read more

Cute place to go to to get a light dessert after dinner. Lots of seating available, and I was happy to see booths! I'll get back to how I feel about the seating... I must be in the minority, but my favorite flavor of fro yo is the original tart. I just feel like you can't mess with that, and honestly think it should be standard to have it at ALL fro yo places! I was really disappointed to see that the machine was broken for the tart! I'm also pretty sure that they didn't have granola. The staff was really nice. One girl dispensed a bunch of flavors to try. The custards were great and rich if that's something you like. My favorite was the sea salt caramel pretzel so I dispensed that into a cup. I liked that they had dividers available to separate the various flavors. They had a lot of flavors like blueberry, banana, cheesecake, cookies and cream, cake batter, etc. They seemed to have a lot of toppings available, which I was impressed by. They had your standard toppings like crunchy cereal and graham crackers to fruit and cookies, but I remember there being a lot of sauces to choose from and pretty cool toppings like birthday cake. Ok, back to the seating..The booths were a nice touch but you will SINK into them which was uncomfortable for me, and the table is an awkward distance away. Overall, it was a nice experience. It had been months since my last visit to Yogo, as cold + me + frozen yogurt = a really bad combination. Last night, I stopped in with my last star to be punched on my customer card and chose cookies and cream, cake batter and creamsicle. Creamsicle remains my favorite by a long shot, but they're all so, so good. And it helped that I didn't have to pay a dime! It was a Monday night around 8 p.m., yet not a single booth lay empty. I had gone to the Yogo Factory (YF) this past Friday night. The place was mobbed with kiddies (as it should be). I just went again tonight, it was less crowded. The inside decor is very cheerful. I think the yogurt tastes good. If I had to make a comparison, I would say the yogurt is similar to the Kiwi yogurt chain...... but the YF is larger (huge) and has a lot more topping varieties. I prefer the Low Fat versus the Non Fat. (live a little). Tonight, I had the vanilla yogurt with chocolate syrup, peanut butter/chocolate chunks, pretzels and strawberries for my toppings. The strawberries were key, it kind of cut the sweetness a little bit, perfect mix. I like the fruit toppings! The employees (young staff) were very friendly/courteous. The place looked clean. The price point per ounce is reasonable. This place is way too close to my home, that could be dangerous as I think I can get addicted to this :-) I'm a fan and I will be back. read more

We've been here several times. This place is expensive, overrated, and the owner / manager acts like a two year old. Need proof? Just check out how he responds to any sort of criticism / negative experience he receives on Yelp. With over 2000 CUSTOMERS A DAY, it's really hard to believe that every single one has had THE BEST YOGURT IN THE WORLD. And, P.S. You don't have to go to business school to know not to be a jerk to your customers. Why? Because other customers will notice and stop patronizing your establishment. It was nice to see something go into the old Wow Video spot. It's bright and well decorated. Think the GAP meets Starbucks, except they are selling yogurt. I got two different kinds of yogurt, a chocolate and a peanut butter. I filled it up to about 3/4 of the smallest cup that was available. They have a plethora of toppings. I got a few M&M sprinkles,some fresh blueberries and some raspberries. The girl at the counter then weighed my selection. I was annoyed that the total weight was not displayed . The total was over 8 bucks at .49 cents an ounce. Ouch. The counter staff also didn't seem too familiar with what is needed to get a discount using Foursquare. They probably should familiarize the staff better with that if they are going to offer that option. I sat down and proceeded to eat the yogurt. Neither the chocolate nor the peanut butter tasted that great. The blueberries and raspberries were pretty good though. I can't really see going back. It's too expensive. Now the owner or manager is going to say, well we do offer discounts for liking us on Facebook and printing out a coupon. That's true. but those only subtract a buck or so from the total. Unless you get a very small portion of yogurt and toppings, it isn't going to make a significant difference in price. read more

I may have found love in the form of frozen yogurt. And endless choices of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. While I'm a grown woman, I couldn't help but feel like an 8 year old on Christmas morning when making my creation. The business model/gimmick is genius: tons of flavors, tons of toppings, charge by the ounce. Give people huge cups, and, just like the salad bar syndrome, they will unwittingly fill their cups with so much fro-yo and toppings that it ends up being an $8-9 dessert. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, it's just how it is (and brilliant business on the part of Yogo). So if you want to maximize the bang for your buck, stick with toppings that don't weigh as much. Fruit? $$$. Sprinkles or Reese's Puffs? $. It's all in the weight, people. That being said, I don't mind dropping dough on an indulgence once in a while, given how delicious it can be. The "yogurt" was atrocious and inedible. This establishment is to say the least, not clean. The yogurt prices are through the roof. 59 CENTS PER OUNCE?! What did they smoke to come up with those STAGGERING prices. The worker was completely disrespectful and made ME pay for my my friends "cookie dough" which tasted like it was made China. As a ticket-carrying member aboard the current froyo bandwagon, I was excited to check out the Yogo Factory. Upon first glance, this place looks like any of the other frozen yogurt places that have been popping up lately, except maybe with a crazy Willy Wonka spin. The facility is bright and spacious, with an entire wall lined with flavors and almost 360 degrees of the center island surfaced with toppings. All of the usual suspects are there: candy, fruit, cereal, and sauces, and there are a lot of unusual choices within each category. I wanted to like this place a lot, but there were several disappointments. The staff seemed unable to keep up with the volume of customers in the store (on a Saturday evening, around 9pm), and so not only were the lines to pay long (and infringing on my ability to reach certain toppings), but there seemed to be a mess everywhere. There were rogue toppings around the counters and dropped into the wrong containers, syrups spilled, and sloppy froyo spigots. The pricing seemed high compared to other similar establishments, and the mediocre flavor of the yogurts didn't justify the total cost. I might give Yogo Factory another chance if I were passing through at an off-time, but it's more likely that I'd hit up the Rita's down the street for a gelati instead. read more

Vast selection of yogurt flavors & variety of toppings. Where this place loses me: - smells like bleach/cleaning chemicals, & overwhelmingly so (while I'm a fan of cleanliness, I'm not a fan of inhaling associated fumes) - staff cleaning the booth right near people eating (again, cleanliness is good; blue cleaning fluid overspray is bad) - flavors taste artificial and thin (I realize it's not gourmet, but the flavors I tried are the "fakest" and least appealing of all dozen or so froyo places I've been to. Yogurt colors also seem unnecessarily potent.) - loud, annoying programming on the TV and color scheme is a bit over-the-top/obnoxious (maybe they are trying to distract from the icky flavors or cleaning fluid abundance). It feels like they are trying too hard to be/appear clean/flavorful/entertaining/appealing. Overall, while the place is spacious and they offer many choices for yogurt & toppings, nothing about this place makes me want to return. I'd give it 1.5 stars, but rounding up to two. read more

Ice cream isn't really my thing, frozen yogurt is a little better, but not by much (take this into account when reading this review). This was my first time in any pay by weight frozen yogurt place. I've always thought these places were pretty odd. The place is super bright, and gigantic, looks like a kid picked out the colors (as it should, I suppose). The pretzel yogurt was pretty good. Watch out using the spouts, I would disagree that the yogurt comes out quickly as others have said. It is more that you need to stop before your desired amount, because when you turn it off it pushes out an extra 1/4 of a cup of yogurt. There were a lot of toppings to choose from, and I can imagine that it can be pretty overwhelming. I was impressed that they had raspberries and blackberries available. I also liked that they had wet nuts. I wish they had smaller cups (besides the kiddie cups that have a fixed price) or a cone option. I suppose I've come to the wrong place if that is what I am looking for. Not a place that I would frequent, and I haven't really been to similar places to compare it to. Yogo Factory was good but not great in my opinion. Ambience is important to me (even if it's fro yo place, weird I know) and this place didn't have it all. When I walked in, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of colors all over the walls. It felt to me more like a kids play room than an eatery, and a little dated with the neon lights outside and metallic mermaidy backsplash. The fro yo is good though. And they had a lot of toppings to choose from. The employees were very friendly and the place was clean. It seemed like they offered a deal on their fro yo everyday which was nice ("happy hour", one weekday fill your cup for $5 etc) Overall not a bad place, just not my personal favorite. read more

This place can be quite dangerous! Self-serve yogurt with a zillion different (ever-changing) flavors to choose from and even more hot, cold, and candy toppings? Your head will say OH YES and your stomach later may say WHY WHY WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME? It doesn't help matters that the cups provided are only in size humongous. So you have to learn to limit yourself, and let's face it: it's really difficult to do with so much yumminess just surrounding you. And a fun, bright decor that makes you feel like you are at a kids party every time you go. They always offer lots of specials (if you check in to Yelp, Facebook, foursquare, etc. you can get some freebies). There's plenty of seating, but the place will usually be overrun with teenagers well into the night so you may have to wait a bit. read more
