Their new place is really cute inside. It is much nicer than their original location on Haddonfield Road . I think this is my new favorite ice cream place. I had no idea this was even here. The girls that work here are super pleasant and offer great suggestions. The store itself has a cool old school feel and even had a free jukebox. They have so many flavors to choose from and not just Icecream. They also have takeout cakes cookies and all kinds of treats. I was pleasantly surprised after finding out about this place. I've spent plenty of time in Cherry Hill and somehow never noticed it when passing the plaza it's in. This place offers a great variety of desserts: many soft-serve flavors, milkshakes, water ice, ice cream cakes, and more. There's also some seating, which is a good feature that other ice cream spots don't always have. I was intrigued by the many flavors of soft-serve that most places don't have. When it comes to ice cream, I go big or go home. I decided to try two flavors. They aren't able to twist any combo of flavors, but you're able to get two or more flavors layered in one cone. They have a good variety of cones of different sizes, flavors, and coatings. I went for both salted caramel and peanut butter soft serve. I opted in for a large waffle cone coated in white chip late and sprinkles to allow for a nice serving of ice cream. This ice cream hit the spot for someone that considers themself an ice cream connoisseur. Each soft serve flavor complemented the other while still having its own distinct taste. The consistency was rich and creamy without being too dense. The cone held a good portion of ice cream without excessively dripping. I was in the area, and noticed Cherry's. I was craving some soft serve ice cream. I hadn't noticed this spot before. This establishment is practicing the COVID-19 protocols. Masks are required to be worn by customers, or no service. It was neat and clean inside. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can sit inside, or outside at the tables, like a bistro set up. There are several selections to choose from here. (Water Ice, soft serve, or gourmet flavors.) I ordered a large cup of peanut butter flavored soft serve. It was pretty good. Sadly when I got the bottom of my cup, there was a huge chunk of something with mint flavor mixed into my soft serve. I thought it was a sprinkle (Jimmy). I actually saw the cup that my ice cream was served in. It was clean. I'm not sure if there was residue from something else in the dispenser jet. Cherry's is a Cherry Hill favorite, and a must in the summer time. In past reviews, people have dissed the soft serve ice cream- personally I love the ice cream here. They have your standard chocolate and vanilla, and they alternate a third special flavor- normally mint or creamsicle. The mint is delicious, not too minty. It is great if you get it covered in chocolate jimmies- yummm. The Creamsicle is mixed with vanilla and is very refreshing. Cherry's can also make a mean brownie sunday. They also have alot of water ice flavors. Recently they started serving frozen yogurt- I have yet to try it. There are so many cold dessert options- almost anyone could find something they want off their vast menu. You'll also get some bang for your buck with the big portion sizes. Cherry's also makes some awesome specialty cakes. My family's favorite is the Gelati cake. You have to order this ahead of time, and I think the big cake is $25. You can pick your own flavors! They also make a frozen brownie pizza which is pretty good too. There is a great outdoor seating area under a huge red and white tent. read more

Family owned. Employees are so nice and went above and beyond to help my sister gather some cookies for shipment! Prices are rather reasonable. They offered a sample of the sugar cookie which I wasn't that crazy about. I got the almond joy cookie which was rather hard. Tasty but a bit too hard of a cookie to my liking. I also had the chocolate brownie cookie which was a soft cookie. I thought it would be really sweet but it wasn't. It was rather tasty. I do feel I have had better cookies elsewhere but it's not the worse I've had. Being that they are just starting with the bakery part I believe they have potential to be rather great. I also liked the sale area of cupcakes, cakes and cookies that were discounted as they were close to losing their freshness. I like seeing this rather than just chucking them in the garbage! Coconut chip water ice was fantastic. My mother in law who is 77 said the Belgian waffle sundae was the best sundae she has had in her entire life. Save your money for Maple Shade Custard Stand - this place is a TINY bit more convenient for me to go to, but I always regret not spending the extra three minutes to just go there. The sizes are smaller and more expensive than Maple Shade Custard Stand and the service can be downright surly. Husband grabbed me a root beer Italian ice, told her it was to go, guess she forgot, so when he asked for a lid he caught an attitude and she lobbed off the top of the ice. This place is great for a last minute summer time treat. Located conveniently on Haddonfield Road, it is also accessible through back roads behind Kennedy Memorial Hospital and Cherry Hill West HS. On a summer night, there is usually a line, but it is fast moving. Their toppings list is LONG, and includes a lot of things you'd never see at a chain ice cream/water ice stand, such as crushed grasshopper cookies, Twix bars, butter fingers, s'mores toppings, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. We travel to the next county to come to Cherry's, Why? For one it's the closest thing to Dumser's on the Boardwalk in OC,MD, two we like the variety of great flavors of ice creams, toppings and specials and three they are friendly and welcoming to everyone. It's a nice "neighborhood spot" to bring the family, friends and team to enjoy a sweet treat under the tent weather permitting. They close for the season I believe in late Fall. What separates Cherry's from a lot of other ice cream places is that they have a large menu so there are a lot of different options incase you want to try something new. There is a large tented area where you can relax and eat. While it gets pretty crowded on the weekends, they do have a back parking lot so make sure to swing down that side street just incase the front looks packed.
