This frozen yogurt shop is cute and has lots of great flavors and toppings! They generally keep the same toppings, but rotate the froyo flavors. They always have some vanilla and chocolate-based flavors, some fruit flavors, and some more "dessert" type of froyo (things like cheesecake). I am kind of picky with what flavors I like, but I was always able to find at least 2-3 flavors to get! The staff was always friendly and helpful when I visited. The restaurant has a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I have seen it get crowded a few times during busier hours. I'm giving it 4/5 stars because it is a little spendy. It usually cost me $6 - 8 for a small cup. It can get expensive if you're going with a group/party, but it's a great place to visit on special occasions! read more

Ok, this place is a pretty standard/typical DIY fro-yo experience. However, they do 2 cool things: 1 -- They include edible cookie dough in their toppings array. Several types. Oh so delicious. 2 -- They ask you to wear gloves. This keeps the germ level down and somehow makes the experience feel safer and less sticky. Went 2 times in a 4 day visit to Corvallis. update, 4 months later: i had thought things may have changed. haha. nope. this evening's dairy free pick was a raspberry lime mojito, which honestly looked artificial (as expected). didn't muster the courage to treat my tastebuds to such a bizarre flavor. oh and the toppings were still meager. the pineapple looked fishy -- and carried a slight flavor of fish and aluminum combined. sigh. here's hoping for something better for that 49¢ per ounce premium. read more

If I could give a negative star I would be inclined to do so. It is filthy inside, the bathrooms are disgusting and the entire establishment is just gross. Looks like the floor has not been mopped in weeks, 1 clean table and 1 other family present. Strangely disappointed with Yogurt Extreme today. One of the employees was rude to my mom and I. She put the wrong toppings on my yogurt, which was no problem at all, and I said no worries at all...but she didn't say "oops, my bad..." or have any reaction, she just seemed annoyed, and it felt uncomfortable. And when my mom sad it was her birthday and she wanted to get the free 8 oz. she seemed to roll her eyes at us, and said "I just rung them up together, that's the cost". It was really obvious she didn't care and was mildly annoyed at her job, and helping us. I've never written a poor review of a business, but something just struck a chord with me about customer service. I personally have 2 jobs I'm working after losing my job from COVID, and I had just finished a long day of customer service myself, and wanted to celebrate my moms birthday with her. No after what's going on with your day, it's important to put that aside and do your job the best you can. I don't want to damage the business, or target an employee, because I have loved yogurt extreme over the years, and I think it's a good business overall. It is another one of those self service yogurt places which I do not mind and like going into .this way if any one is going to serve me yogurt or any food with dirty hand it would be me. Love this frozen yogurt place, they always have great flavors of yogurt and rarely run out of my favorite toppings. They have yogurt mochi, popping boba, candy, berries, and pretty much anything you think of at any other yogurt place. There was a ginger boy working a night shift on 10/14. We knew the store closed at 10:00 but it was 10:02 and we were just waiting respectfully for our friend that was in bathroom so we could leave and he came out and yelled at us "we're closed, get out" in the most rude tone and with the worst attitude. you could tell the employees were talking about us in the back even though the store was not closed yet. we recognize as college students we could get a bad rep but we were so respectful to them and were planning to leave as soon as our friend got out. it was just really rude and we were taken aback by how awful it was. also very dirty n not sanitized appropriately. we were just tryna get some froyo:( read more

Why is it so fun to fabricate your own yogurt dessert destiny? I don't know why it's so addicting.... but it is, and that is why I treat myself to yogurt extreme a lot. Extreme usually has between 8-10 flavors to choose from, and tons of toppings in all different textures for your enjoyment... I am a HUGE fan of the popping boba... even if the flavor won't mix well with the yogurt choice I make I always have to get a few popping boba... love 'em! I prefer the Circle location of extreme because its not Monroe... so less university crowd, nice to have that option. The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is the price. $0.40 an oz is pretty pricy, so while there is no competition form other shops(excluding the Monroe location) I will continue to give them my patronage.... that and the popping boba keep me coming back:) read more

I love any opportunity to make me feel like a kid. I went here with BK and Hubby and instantly turned into an 8 year old. I was giddy and giggly. I don't know why I haven't done this before! There's a similar place by my house in CA. Now I know. SO MANY FLAVORS! SO MANY TOPPINGS! I guess it could get a little dangerous because the cost is based on weight and if you "fill 'er up" be sure to bring your credit card in case you don't have enough cash. Worth every penny. Great family place. Two big screens with pix of locals enjoying their deliciousness. The team working are college folk, have great customer service and look like they enjoy working there. I don't see how anyone could not like this place. It was packed full of people. We drove by the other location by the college and it was standing room only. That's got to say something. LOVE IT! 10 yogurt flavors with over 100 different toppings with family and friends - doesn't get any better than this. Always fresh - fruit and toppings - can be as healthy or not as you desire. All three stores - 2 in Corvallis and the newest in Albany - are always clean - including the restrooms - with smiling, pleasant service. I especially appreciate their support of the local schools and also the local children's hospital. They give back - that is the cherry on top - pun intended!! read more

Our family moved to Corvallis three years ago and we had never heard of Yogurt Extreme. I thought the name of the shop was cool and so within just a few days of moving here we checked out the store. My kids went nuts for this place but I have a few reservations. The large selection of freshly chopped up goodies, nuts, fruits, candies, syrups, cookies, and cupcakes is very impressive. Another thing that I like about the experiences is the little taster cups that allow you to sample the yogurts before committing to a purchase. This is a good idea. I one time saw a man walk into the store and use a taster cup to get vanilla. Then he got chocolate. Then he got coffee. Then he proceeded to choose a sample of each and every flavor of yogurt and left without buying anything. I'm not sure if it was cool to him that the employees allowed this buffet to proceed or a little bit bad for the owner and the customers who were affected just a bit. Sadly the flavor of the yogurts is never really great for me. Some people say that they have to put the toppings on the yogurt just to make them pallatable. The biggest drawback of this place for me is that it is very expensive as far as the dessert experience goes. I know they have to earn money and many places charge 40 cents an ounce for toppings but most of their toppings are very heavy and the end price for your yogurt can add up to over $7.00. A friend of mine paid at least that because she loves fruit. I will say that they do hire beautiful people to work at this location. Perhaps that's not such a good thing because on more than one visit I have walked in on an amorous embrace behind the counter. read more

This place is great for five key main reasons. 1) Yogurt flavors: the yogurt flavors are awesome and are always changing. My favorite is red velvet cake. 2) toppings: the toppings are very good with much diversity. some examples are gummy worms, candy cherries, and small cupcakes. 3) Sauces: yogurt extreme has a bunch of sauces that you wont find at many other frozen yogurt places including marshmallow, caramel, and hot fudge read more

Eeew. I can't get over the sanitation issues at this place. Everytime I go the place is swarming with grubby kids touching everything. I literally saw a 5 year old suck on a gummy bear and then put it back in the bin....nasty. Being a fatty I can normally take a certain level of grime and still power it down, but here I feel like I need to hit my Purell pump before every handle I touch. The place is always packed so it certainly is not impacting others. On the positive side, the toppings are quite vast and do seem very fresh and some of the yogurt flavors are quite tasty. read more

I wasn't a big fan of Frozen Yogurt until I discovered Yogurt Extreme. This place converted me. Their is always a large selection of yogurts and toppings to choose from. Some that might even stretch your imagination. The food is great! The service is wonderful and Jane Humphreys is just a damn nice person. From the personal photo guest book to the OSU Beavers T-Kid program, which my daughter won last year, allowing her to go retrieve the football Tee after the game kickoff while mom and dad watched along side the team players from the sidelines and VIP Beavers football passes was a real treat!!
