Well iv always been a fan on this place. But tried to stop in tonight for the first time in a few months. Arrived with 10 minutes to spare and all the yogurts were being drained so we only had 2 (less than ideal flavors for a 13 year old) to choose from. When I inquired as to what time they started "closing" since they were still open. They just started at me. Not a word out of a single employees mouth. They still had customers everywhere inside and out so it seems a little silly I drive away business on a hot desert night early than the time posted on your door. Last night my friend and I ventured over to Yogurt Island with 5 of our kids in tow, as the day was on the hot side and the kids were getting antsy with being inside all day. One thing my friend and I bond over is that both our youngest sons' have an allergy to dairy. When we arrived at the shop we found that they had two dairy free options... All I could think was FABULOUS! Our boys were able to sit and enjoy the trip with the rest of us, rather than us having to bring a soy option for them. My only dislike is the space available for seating. The shop is so small, and with 7-months of high temps here in the Valley, sitting outside is often times not an option. We were able to comfortably sit on the patio; however, in a couple of weeks, that won't be possible. All in all, the frozen yogurt options were terrific and the kids always enjoy it. read more

I came here with my niece and nephew and it was a trip. Good selection of frozen yogurts and toppings. Small place and tends to get crowded, but I guess that speaks well of the place. Price is pretty competitive to other yogurt places. My favorite flavors: pomegranate raspberry and very berry. Ohh parking is not an issue. I will be back for more! read more

My guilty pleasure. I honestly love this place. The fresh fruit, the amazing toppings and the frozen yogurt that changes flavor variety every week. The only thing that I am discontent with is, I wish the place was a little bigger. It gets very busy with people and not much of a place to sit and chill. But for a quick go and grab. When they first opened the inside of the store was amazing! Hawaiian, Tropical motif complete with island music! Unfortunately the owners let the place go... Now it looks unkept and at times even dirty! Employees seem lazy and uninterested. So sad no pride was taken in the place read more

Pretty darn good! I only had the no sugar added vanilla but it might have been the creamiest vanilla I ever had. PLENTY of fruit toppings to choose from too and they weren't sitting in a sugary liquid. it was just the fruit. read more

The hours posted says that they close at 10pm but at 9:20pm the staff was already preparing to close up for the day with 6 flavors of yogurt emptied & all of the hot/warm toppings cleared out. Out of the remaining flavors to select from I chose Salted Caramel & Chocolate. It was ok. The dry toppings were stale. read more

Great decor and prices. We are visiting here from Phoenix and frequent yogurt shops back home. We found this one to be particularly clean and the yogurt options were superb. The gentleman working the registers was extremely friendly. We've been twice so far!! read more

The quality of the yogurt and the toppings is excellent. The variety of changing flavors always leave you with something that you will find and like. The location is always very clean. However, the two employees here aren't very friendly and seem irritated when you ask them for help. I also miss the waffles that you used to be able to get. They were great for breakfast! read more

It's true, this is the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of Frozen Yogurt franchises. They have everything under the sun you could possibly ask for in a froyo place. The set up of the store is great, as with any froyo place you choose your yogurt first. If you don't love the yogurt on its own, it gets better. The topping bar is what really sold me on this place. First of all they have their "fun toppings" and more healthy choices. The "fun toppings" are in candy dispensers much like they would be in a candy store. If those toppings aren't enough, wait for it, they have a hot topping bar! The hot topping bar includes waffles, brownies and my favorite, pecan praline. To sum it up, Yogurt Island is heaven for any froyo lover, and I suggest you try it out! read more

Same problem as previuos reviews, got there at 10:20PM on a Saturday night, closing time was 11 PM, but they had already started cleaning out the machines. They have 12-14 flavors available normally but there was only 4 left. Then as I left @ 10:30 they shut off the OPEN sign, to discourage potential customers. My new favorite yogurt shop in the valley. Love all the flavors! The flavors taste amazing and are the perfect texture. When I went to Yogurtland it is always a hit or miss but Yogurt Island always is consistent with their flavors and texture. They have amazing toppings, including melted Nutella. YUM! Love this place! I take my niece once a week. They always have a great assortment of flavors and a plethora of topping choices. My favorite yogurt is their cookies and cream, and favorite topping is their butter pecan. My niece loves their fruit tart flavors. The staff are always friendly and kind, as well. read more

This must be run by new owners. Prices have gone up and when we purchased three yogurts for our friends, he would only punch our card once. Really tight fisted. The last yogurt cost me about $8.50, which is way too much for what I got. Not going back! read more

ok i absouletly love this yogurt place, its self serve (39cents per oz.) It has a good variety of yogurts my fave. are agave grape, peanut butter, mango, oh and i cant forget pineapple ! Not only do they have a variety of delish yogurts but they have like 60 different yummy and refreshing toppings ! BEST frozen yogurt place I've ever been to. To start off, the atmosphere is super cute and gives off a friendly vibe. All the yogurts are self serve and you can have as many samples as you like. The flavors are amazing and taste natural. Next, the topping choices are impeccable. There are all kinds of cereals, candies, and extremely fresh and ripe fruits to top your yogurt with. I still can't get over how great the fruits were; they were massive and full of flavor and looked and tasted super fresh! Then you have an array of warm toppings like caramel, fudge, butterscotch, marshmallow, and magic shell. You can even top it all with a fresh warm brownie. All of this is extremely sanitary too and looks like it is continuously cleaned. Finally, once you sit down you have your own TV with a movie playing at each table! They also have fresh lemon and cucumber water too out for anyone who'd like it. I also noticed the little receipt boxes with elementary school names on the wall. You can put your receipt into which ever box you'd like so the school can get a percentage of the money. How nice! Whoever is owning and running this place is very creative and is doing a great job! So all in all this place is a 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back and recommending it. read more

We live in Orange County but this was one of our favorite places to stop for a treat. Not anymore. I think there are new owners. We asked for a few sample cups and the owner gave us one. We asked again and we got one again. Super cheap in my opinion. The more you try the more you will get. Flavors were not as good as before and I think they raised the prices. My past few experiences here have been unpleasant due to the (somewhat) new owners being quite inhospitable. They make a stink about honoring the discount cards. Why provide them when they do everything they can to try to weasel out of honoring them? It's very disheartening. Tonight, I was told that my card was 'old' even though it looked exactly like the one he showed me except for the (extra) fine print. I had enough stamps for a free 6 oz, but the owner refused to honor the card (even though I was getting three yogurts, no less). Eventually, he acquiesced, acting like he was doing me a favor. I resent being treated this way and will not be returning. What began as a night of frivolity filled with the effervescence of a fine champagne quickly descended into a maelstrom of lies, controversy and deceit perpetrated by a greedy and overzealous owner bent on destroying the soul of the customer. read more

I have been going to yogurt island for years now and today was the first time that an employee has actually took the time out of their day to actually have a conversation with me. I was having trouble deciding which flavor to get because they tasted the same to me, but Raul was willing to taste the flavors even though he didn't like the flavor (peanut butter). I have revised a review from July 4th. Visited after my pedicure tonight for a second chance. I thought on a hot day (116), froyo sounded great. It was awesome! Many flavors, toppings a-plenty, and a clean counter. Plus, a friendly cashier! Overall, a great experience. read more
