Stopped in for Yogurt last night, the yogurt was good but the dining area was dirty. I ask the man for napkins to clean a place to set and eat. I informed him it was very dirty dried yogurt on the tables, chairs and floor. Candy toppings spilled everywhere, he did not offer to come out to clean anything he just walked into the back of the store. If what the customers can see is this nasty what does the back look like? The lady behind the counter had poor customer service skills. She only allowed two samples despite the ice cream being very over priced. In addition, the store and bathroom did not feel or look sanitary. The woman used the same spoon for all toppings cross contaminating them with nuts. I got a XL swirl with peanut butter and coffee for only about $6.50 then paid a little extra for cookie dough. The yogurt was honestly just okay, I've had better. That's why I gave 4 stars. Health Code Violation- If I could give it Zero stars I would. 6:15pm Saturday evening- entered Yogurt Rendezvous with my adult daughter, despite the very long annoying door bell sound that played as we entered, there wasn't an employee in sight. While waiting for someone to serve us, we noticed the floors were dirty (fine we can overlook that, it was raining), then we noticed fingerprints on the glass ice cream case, some of the ice cream looked freezer burned, but the worst part was spotting an inch long roach laying in the rum raisin - we immediately left and there still wasn't an employee visible. I have lived across the street for about 10 years now and they are my ONLY place for yogurt. The owners are super friendly, place is clean, and ice cream is good. I was there tonight. My husband and I sat outside at their tables and were enjoying the weather. The owner came outside with a tray and offered all her customers a cup of ice cold water. I know its not a big deal but it's just sweet. And its little things like that that make a family owned place stand out. AND they are a kosher establishment. read more

If you're a diabetic, stay far far away from this place! They're liars. I went there the other night and noticed they had NSA (no sugar added) ice cream sandwiches. I ask the gentleman behind the counter, "so the cookies are no sugar added as well"? He tells me, no, they have sugar. So now I mention, "how can you advertise something that's no sugar added, when it clearly has sugar in it". His answer... well, people still buy it! I didn't say this out loud, but in my head I thought, Of course people still buy it you moron, you're. It telling anyone about it!!! The product is labeled incorrectly! Knowing the guy is only a clerk (who BTW, was lacking a personality) I didn't bother to get into it. After all, it's not his fault! So I left it alone! But then he has to chime in an back peddle his story! He tells me, you know, I really don't know if the cookies are NSA, they may be. So I say, never mind, I'm not going to take a chance if you're not sure. But let me ask, do you make these yourself? He responds yes. I then ask, you make both regular and NSA? To which he answers yes... final question: Do you use cookies from the same box, or is it a different box? His response... no, it's the same box!!! Again I think, well then my genius friend!!! Safe to assume they have sugar! Diabetes is a serious disease, not everyone takes the extra step to do what I do and ask. Most assume if it says NSA, then the entire product has no added sugar! For this place to blatantly not give a shit about this and not educate their staff, it's a shame! You definitely lost me as a customer! To round it all out, lately I've been cutting sorbitol and Maltitol out of my diet. They're artificial sweeteners that when added to a product, it's advertised that it may cause cramping or have a laxative effect! You advertise that your product is made with Splenda!!! Him in a few months and had had nothing but a bad experience since. His sister is a horror. Rude!!! Destroyed my topping by pouring a huge scoop ( 1/2 cup ) of syrup from the walnuts I wanted - with no walnuts . When I saw the size of the pour- I tried I stop her. They are probably trying to keep the a/c bills down by using fans at high speed instead of ice cold refrigeration which is needed.
