Some of these flavors tasted like they lost a bet. I hit that sample spoon a few times and seriously considered a life reset. Tough scene. I did what any seasoned froyo survivor would do. Audible. Landed on dulce de leche with a little vanilla chocolate swirl to try and balance things out. A veteran move. A necessary move. Then came the toppings. And this is where things got interesting again. Stacked. Loaded. Sneaky elite. And yes... Lorna Doone cookies made an appearance. Who invited grandma's cookie jar to the party? I don't know, but I respect it. That's a power topping. That's championship depth. And then... the texture. Man. This wasn't frozen yogurt. This was yogurt that went through something. It was icy. Overworked. Like the machine just gave up halfway through and said "good luck everybody." Every bite had that crunchy ice situation going on. Not creamy. Not smooth. Just... confused. Final verdict. Three stars strictly off the strength of the concept and the toppings carrying this place like LeBron in Game 7. The yogurt itself? Needs a serious pep talk. This place has gone to hell. The AC is broken so it's 85 degrees inside. The paint is pulling off the walls and the employee looks miserable. Even worse, the bathroom was disgusting and there was no soap. (Apparently the employees don't use soap either) . We are done with this place. The only reason it's still in business is because it's kosher. This area needs a much better establishment. read more

Quality products. I love anything sweet and cold. This hits the spot. You'll pay, but it's worth to go out with family or friends or just yourself. Have fun in your life. Treat yourself to this. Menchie's has all the toppings you'll want. You have the ability to try flavors before you buy them. They give you a tiny cup as a sampler. Every time I go in there, the place is clean and tidy. No mess, just cleanliness. There are always young people working there. And usually fairly pleasant. Hint: try the plain yogurt. Mix it with something else. It is in a great location/plaza unfortunately the store itself just isn't up to standards. You take one look at the front of the store and it just doesn't give off a vibe that's it's a clean place. And I was right. The machine were all dirty and drippy and very sticky. The yogurt isn't even close to yogurt ice cream, like others have said it is very icy and watery. Flavors are okay. The worker is seen doing nothing except just stare at you unless you speak up, when she could be using that time to wipe down the area and at least tidy up. So I can't say much in this place, I always go for the same combo -Plain yogurt with a bit of pineapple sorbet - Cookie Dough -Reeses - Mochi (which they didn't have ) - Cheesecake bites (i probably should stay away as they are addictive) - Serving of fruit I think this place is perfect to satisfy a sweet tooth without getting over sweet. I think having to serve yourself makes it better but you have to be careful on not getting too overexcited or else you will pay the price (quite literally) read more

This Menchie's is close to where I live so I have been there several times. They just recently reopened after being closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Me and my girlfriend went in to see the newly reopened Menchie's. Most everything seemed the same except for the plastic shields around the checkout area and the mandatory use of masks, gloves and hand sanitizers. So my girlfriend and I headed to the froyo dispensers and filled a cup maybe 1/3 full at most. We also didn't get any toppings. Normally we do but, under the new procedures, the toppings are now sold in little bags at 75 cents a piece. When I say the bags are little I mean they are little. So we went to the checkout and the small amount of frozen yogurt we got amounted to almost $6. Now I'm one to splurge from time to time on dessert but $6 for such a tiny amount is outrageous. I suspect if we had filled the container to the top and added some toppings we would easily have been in the $10-$15 range or more. Menchie's charges $0.69 per oz. You can buy Publix Premium Frozen Yogurt for around $0.09 per oz and it is very good. That's about 1/7th the price. Now I don't mind some markup but a seven-fold one is kind of ridiculous. Don't get me wrong. The quality of the frozen yogurt at Menchie's is great and I'm glad the pandemic did not shut them down. I'm all about supporting local businesses. However, charging almost $6 for a small amount of frozen yogurt without any toppings seems excessive. It will be a while before I return. read more

We always go to Menchie's but this is the first time we come to this location, unfortunately they do not give more samples (only in this location) and the person in the cashier told us that his boss is prohibited from giving samples and neither spoons without paid, he insisted to us several times that his boss prohibit all of that!! This is my first time going to Menchie's in a while and my gf and I always grab a sample spoon to make sure it's a flavor we like. Apparently they do not do sample spoons anymore. The young kid with black hair working stayed its due to cdc guidelines yet Covid has long been over and they don't have any guidelines anymore. I then asked him about the rules regulation posted on the wall that stated sample spoons are for paying customers only. He said this was a pre Covid posted. When I asked a question about a promotional on the website I got snapped at and she told us that she should not have to deal with customers right now and ended her shift in the middle of our conversation. Right after a guy walked in to start his shift I called on accident from the parking lot attempting to call another menchies 20 seconds into the conversation he hung up abruptly. I hate to make a review based off of one experience, but I've never been denied service at a location 40 minutes before closing before, so this was new for me. My family and I wanted to get frozen yogurt after our dinner tonight (5/29/20) and checked all the local locations to see which areas would be open after 9pm. This Menchie's is listed as open until 10pm, so we made the 20-minute drive and arrived at 9:20pm. The employee was already closing everything up, but the door was still open. As we were getting out of the car, the employee ran outside to get the chairs from outside, and right as we approached the door, SHE LOCKED IT AS SHE MADE EYE CONTACT WITH US! She walked to the back of the shop and we checked the door to see if it was really locked. It was (we were baffled). She then approached the door again and made a swiping motion across her neck (we were cut off I guess?). I have worked in the restaurant and retail industry before and it is never acceptable for an employee to close the restaurant 40 minutes early. Especially when the website verifies that the location is not closing for 40 minutes, AND the physical hours are listed on the door saying that it is indeed still open. After sending an email out about a discount, I decided I would take the kids. I haven't been here for a few years. When we arrived we, and a lot of other customers, were told the deal was either one that they were not participating in or they weren't going to honor because it was 3pm. Basically, they falsely advertised to get people in the door and that's really dishonest and wrong. They also covered up the price per ounce and charged more than they usually do. One woman asked to talk to the manager and he was really rude to her. He also lied and said they did not email an offer or promotion. After this I will never go back there. I absolutely LOVE the yogurt and variety of toppings offered here! I've been here from Las Vegas for two months, and we've already been here three times. That being said, the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and in the seating area during two of our three visits was disappointing! On visit number one, the men's bathroom had toilet paper plastered all over the walls. The cashier seemed receptive when advised, and stated it would be taken care of. During our visit today, it was nearly impossible to find chairs to sit on that weren't filthy! Once the place cleared out, I advised the one employee who seemed to be responsible for everything. She told me, "I know, I'll get to it." Even after she wiped down the chairs and tables, I wouldn't have call them, "clean." Since I am such a fan of the yogurt here, we will give it another try. I truly hope the establishment will be cleaner on our next visit, otherwise we will have to find another, "favorite place." read more

But we had two cups of frozen yogurt that were way less than half full. I had some sprinkles on mine. She didn't have toppings. $17.58??? Why cant every yogurt shop be this good? Brand new and already running like a well oiled machine. Granted, i know it's part of a franchise/chain, the new kids on the block (this location) are doing everything right; so much to the point that I can't find anything to complain about. Excitedly welcomed us into the store, offered us samples (unlike other help yourself yogurt shops), made suggestions without being pushy, store was immaculate, decor was vibrant and comfortable, the two kids working were super friendly and trained exceptionally well, plenty of variety (sugar free, no fat, low fat, kosher... Lots of flavors), lower per ounce price than local competitors, great incentive program (called smiles I believe), and it was all delicious. read more

The moment you walk into Menchies, employees welcome you in and immediately offer you to sample any of the frozen yogurts. They also made some suggestions that were good enough that I ended up getting what they suggested. There were two young kids working there and both were very outgoing and helpful. Whoever trained these young men (high schoolers) did a wonderful job as they were impressive. The store is extremely clean and very organized. Not only was there plenty of toppings to choose from, but they were set up easier than other local yogurt shops to use. There were about 12 different flavors and included a variety of kosher, sugar-free and non-fat. Be really careful because it's your typical do it yourself yogurt shop. You pay by the once and they only offer huge cups so it is really easy to take too much. Luckily my boyfriend was with me and kept me from taking too much because I have huge eyes and would have easily filled the cup up. read more

I have been coming here almost every night for like 4-5 months.. could be more lol. I've run into some issues before with the "points system" that they have going where I would buy $50 worth of fro yo but bc one of their employees didn't enter my phone # in correctly one of my visits.. the "points" did not go thru so I didn't rightfully receive my $5. Given how expensive this place is.. I look forward to the $5 reward so that my next visit will only cost $3 sometimes more lol it's crazy. Anyways, I learned from that experience and I now have them give me a receipt for every transaction stating my purchase, my point balance and points left till my $5 reward. However, this recent experience I had today at the Menchie's shop was unbelievable! I never ever have problems w any of the employees.. they are all usually young sweet girls. I especially love Samantha ! She's sweet and smart great head on her shoulders.. very organized and clean! So I was utterly surprised, for one, after 5 months of coming there everyday, this was the very first time I've ever seen or spoke to a manager or "owner" as she said she was. This woman treated me w such disrespect bc my card declined. I had just added a few hundred bucks to this card and I usually do things via Apple Pay or cash but I know Menchie's doesn't do Apple Pay and I didn't have any cash on me.. but I knew I had money on my card and I also had $5 reward so I knew I'd only need $3 which my card would cover even If I didn't have money on it smh. But this woman (don't know her name) she says she's the owner.. didn't even know how to check my points.. just kept insisting I swipe my card for the full amount and then she'll see if I have enough points for a reward smh. My card wouldn't go thru unfortunately and so I jokingly said well ... I should really get this for free anyways bc of my birthday reward: my bday was 10/23. & she goes "are you kidding me?" I said ummm YES I was kidding you wow! Like she treated me like I was some derelict bc my card didn't go thru and I didn't have cash. That was so rude and I was very polite to her. I could have embarrassed her badly but I didn't in respect for others around actually. I've spent thousands at this place ! No joke! Not only do I deserve some common courtesy from the owner but I deserve the rewards that I am promised. She actually could have given me the yogurt using my reward bc it only came out to like $4 but instead she threw it out, wasted it, bc she (THE OWNER) didn't know how to use her own point system. Much different experience than last year. Yogurt was good but service was horrible. Pretty bad considering it is a self serve yogurt place. Woman behind the counter was too busy texting to pay attention to us other than ring us up, which came in a mere second to her texts. When i asked for a receipt, she continued to text then when she was finished gave me the receipt. They have a reward policy, which unless you volunteer your phone number they will never ask you, hence no number no rewards. As stated before, crappy service, good yogurt. read more

The pricing here is ridiculous! Because of covid all of the toppings are in these little containers which makes sense, but now I am getting charged for the weight of the containers too!! And I'm forced to use the entire portion even if I don't want to spend 2 dollars walnuts when I only want half of that. Walked in and did not feel welcome at all. We were the only one there and nobody greeted us or acknowledged us. We were treated like an inconvenience when we asked for samples and when we left the worker didn't even say bye or have a nice day. Just immediately handed me my ice cream and walked away. Also, I got a small bowl with very little ice cream and zero toppings yet my price was nearly $6 which is absurdly OVERPRICED in my opinion.
