I love the cleanliness, consistent quality of the frozen yogurt and fresh toppings but most of all, the employees are terrific! Really nice to everyone. I do notice when they clean the trays in front of me up when I walk in. It makes you feel welcome and like an important customer to them. Call the health department! The homeless go in and load up their cup of yogurt and eat it with their hands, licking their fingers and grabbing the toppings out of the containers with their saliva covered hands! The place was packed with many grandparents and kids all trying hard to ignore these women. The yogurt Time worker tried to ignore them too. They eventually paid for some yogurt upon leaving. I have previously witnessed the junior high school students overload the shop with most kids polite and paying for the yogurt but many reach right in with their hands and eat out of the jars of toppings. The workers are totally overwhelmed and don't stop them. The only solution is HEALTH DEPARTMENT!! Let's stop feeding our children contaminated food. Yogurt Time is becoming a multi-chain here in Santa Rosa. I think that there a 4 locations now. I've had the frozen yogurt here 4 times. And I really like it. It's creamy, it's boldly flavored without the sweety - sour tang that many yogurt places seem to offer. Of course there is the requisite selection of toppings: candy, fruits, syrups, whipped cream, etc.... The down side of the place is the noise. Sit inside and listen to the 8 yogurt machines roar. They are right on the floor, no barrier wall. There's a for shit quality stereo blaring a horrible Santa Rosa pop music radio station. It is literally impossible to have a conversation inside. Want to escape outside for some quiet? Good luck with that. You're on busy Summerfield lane at the corner of Montgomery drive - The cars are whizzing by 14 feet from your patio table. I love Froyo with the Fam! And Yogurt time is usually the best! Audrey was very sweet, and during such uneasy times, I can't tell you How refreshing it is to see a smile (that you notice even under a mask). She was very polite, professional and kind. Rachel seemed conspicuously having a difficult day, or perhaps she is just not quite as friendly as her co-worker. I don't take it personally, but I felt it was important to say something about it today. We're all adjusting to life post-Covid19, and children may have the most difficult time of all adjusting. She was very abrupt and unwelcoming. I almost left because of how off putting the energy and tone, and over all attitude was. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt and gleefully, my kids and I picked out the flavors we like best. The poor customer service almost effected the taste of the frozen yogurt. I'm sorry to say. I've worked customer service for many years and am a firm believer in greeting politely and being kind, even in the face of a hard day. We are okay and willing to comply with company policies, and even though my 3 year old didn't have a mask, we would have preferred being told in a more polite way. Frozen yogurt in different flavors with so many options for toppings. Some of the flavors of yogurt sounds not-so-tasty but they usually are very tasty. The pineapple flavor is identical to the Dole Whip at Disneyland. But you can add toppings to it! You are charged by weight of your yogurt cup. It is a bit pricey, but a nice treat. Great location across the street from Howarth Park. Always clean and the staff is so friendly. read more

Tonight I experienced massive amounts of overstimulation, dread, and fear. As me and my girlfriend were going on a fro-yo date (stand back homophobics) we walked in to chaos. The space was extremely small for the amount of fro-yo lovers that were attending. I honestly am writing this review to be an advocate for the poor child that was working all by himself on a Saturday night! You could see how stressed, anxious, and scared he was for the amount of people and lack of staff or preparation. Please treat your workers with more compassion especially at a family friendly establishment. The frozen yogurts wasn't even frozen, the refrigerated preparation half empty and yucky. Now I see potential if the owners would ensure that there is an appropriate amount of staff for the busy nights and support their workers. To that worker, I am sorry you had to experience that. Fro-yo mid, environment trash, staff I wanted to tell him everything was going to be okay. Maybe go there if you need some mental stimulation other than that save the workers the stress. read more

Located by Howarth Park so a nice incentive for a walk or bike ride. We brought the doggy too. Super hot in full sun on patio, no umbrellas. Doggy was thirsty and the employee refused to give water. I'm an ice cream guy. Frozen yogurt is the stuff you have when no ice cream is conveniently located nearby. Or so I thought... Yogurt Time has changed the way I think of frozen yogurt. The yogurt flavors I've tried there have all been delicious. It really isn't much different from ice cream, and that's where they get me! The toppings are pretty good, even the odd fruit boba. I've never experienced boba like they have at YT before now. I've only had the black boba pearls that are fairly solid and come in tea. The fruit boba at YT pop and have a gooey fruit flavored liquid inside them. They are pretty tasty in small quantities. I wouldn't want scoop fulls of them on my frozen yogurt. Prices here are by weight, so don't load up on heavy toppings. I've always thought it an odd price model when you walk into any frozen yogurt shop and have no idea what it's going to cost you until you have built your creation and weigh it in at the register. Three of us got out of there for around $12 and we had pretty decent sized portions. That seems more reasonable than the sticker shock that has hit me at previous frozen yogurt stores I've been to. Overall, I would absolutely consider Yogurt Time, even if an ice cream shop just happened to be near by. That says a lot for me. read more

It's our neighborhood yogurt place and it's middle of the road frozen yogurt. Clean. Good flavor and options for sugar free or nonfat. Staff, is usually cold and have attitudes that they rather be someplace else. What happened today was worth mentioning about customer service. A pregnant (customer mind you) lady holding an infant came in from outside and asked for some water to clean up her baby. Simple. I've been there. covered in mess, plus baby mess. Anyway the girl wouldn't give this unfortunate pregnant lady with baby some water to clean up her kid. The girl informed the lady she could buy some bottled water. I was appalled. So was the poor pregnant lady holding the messy baby. The girl went back to looking at her nails. Selling bottled drinking water to drink is one thing, but being a decent human being is another. read more

Love the yogurt. I think it is some of the best frozen yogurt in Sonoma County. Hate the inside of the store. The machines are so loud that we eat our yogurt treats so quickly just to get out fast! I took my kids to Yogurt Time for the first time last weekend and it blew our mind away! We have been back twice since...we can not get enough of the peanut butter and cookies and cream! THe bright yellow walls just put you in a good mood, the vibes inside of the store were all happy smiling couples or families! Both times we have gone the cashier was named Alaura and was the nicest lady and helped us with tasting cups and even told us her favorite creation. My kids LOVE the photobooth that they have and take so many pictures everytime we go. They made it on the Instagram page from it!! They were so excited! They also had a coloring sheet for the children and give them an opportunity to take it home or to color while they are eating their yogurt. My yogurt: Peanut butter yogurt with cookie dough and marshmallows and hot fudge!! YUM My husbands yogurt: Fancy French Vanilla yogurt with strawberries, kiwis, cheesecake bites, and a little hot caramel! My 6 year olds yogurt: Cookies and cream yogurt with Reeces, butterfingers, and hot fudge! My 9 year olds yogurt: Mango Tango sorbet with marshmallows, coconut, strawberries, and M&M's (it might sound weird but it was tasty)!!! We are excited to try more flavors! -Nicole read more

Great location near Summerfield Theatre and Mary's Pizza Kitchen. Plenty of parking, especially with the theatre parking lot being so close. They're open late, which means even if you get out of a movie after 9pm, there's still time to stop in for a sweet treat. It's smallish, but there is indoor AND outdoor seating (for when the weather is good). The range of flavors was decent for the size and they had the full range of treats. I got the pineapple dole whip with blueberry and strawberry burst boba as well as some mochi. The price was definitely decent for the amount I got though I don't recall it being easily posted anywhere. I think mine was about $4 or a little over for just over 8oz. When approaching the counter there was no hello or can I help you, actually if I had not asked her how she was there would not have been any conversation. It's unfortunate that the customer service here is so obnoxious because it's so nice to go to the park and then get a yogurt but after my experience today I will not be going back. When my son and I entered there was no hello no welcome nothing we went over and got our yogurt cups and will my son was putting toppings on I guess he went to use the same scooper in a different container, anyway I can understand wanting to keep it clean but she was very rude about it. We ate our yogurt inside and just as we were leaving I took a call while I was walking out the door my son ran over and grabbed a couple gummys I turned around to her telling him to put them in the garbage. I told her at that moment I would not mind paying for them and she said no that was OK. I'll never come back to this place and I recommend not going here either it's not family-friendly. read more

I am a frequent Yogurt Timer, this place is awesome. Just a heads up, the yogurt is addicting!!! There is no way you can come here and not come back. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. They change a flavor every few weeks. I get so excited when there's a new flavor to try.
