My sister in law took the kids and the fam here. First time visiting this location. The staff was friendly and place was very clean. The yougirt area had many options, they handed us little sample cups to taste and pick what we liked best. Not sure if they do that at all location but this one does. So it's cool. The yogurt tasted fresh and good textures, lots of toppings to choose from. Overall pricing seemed fair and the kids had a great time tasting all the flavors till they picked the ones they wanted. Stopped in here Monday night with family that was craving some yogurt. This is normally not my go to spot because it's always been a hit and miss with the quality and the cleanliness of the store and the yogurt dispensing machines were no different this evening. The yogurt machines had various flavors of yogurt melting and sitting on the trays of the machines along with used taster cups of yogurt and debris on the floor. This was not very appetizing and I passed on the yogurt while the rest of the family took their chances with the quality of yogurt. I've never seen the Owner in this store and I'm not sure even who the manager is but they need some real oversight to correct some of the issues that are ongoing at this location. They normally have a couple of young females in here working but all of this is unacceptable. The store was not crowded so there was no reason for this not to be corrected and cleaned up immediately. Hopefully the Owner will take note of these issues with the yogurt machines, the broken handle and the yogurt sitting at the bottom of several trays melting along with used taster cups. And the bathroom is another issue it's a hit and miss whether or not the toilet handle will flush correctly. Please invest some time and money in your store so it shows pride of ownership and is consistently clean and up to the high standards that we expect when we pay $25+ for three tiny cups of yogurt. I love yogurtland but in the past two months, I have tried coming in 5-6 times and every single time, multiple flavors have been out of order. I get that it's getting warm, and this is a popular option in the area, but it's happened every single time I have come in. If they do work, the frozen yogurt comes out almost completely melted. Definitely not a frozen treat. I love frozen yogurt but I will have to try to find another alternative in the area or find another yogurtland. Along with that, the tables inside have been noticeably dirty and a few times we've entered, there has been trash everywhere. I feel bad for the one person who has been on shift when we're there. Between the broken machines, the poor quality of the yogurt, and the dirtiness, there is a lot that needs to be addressed. read more

Came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon. It wasnt busy at all. They had sample cups at the front which was very nice. We used a lot.. and they kept filling it. All the flavors were good and they had a good variety. The station with yogurt was very clean and the station with the toppings were stocked and cleanly as well. They have a restroom and seating inside. Tables are kind of small so it can fit a group of 4-5 people at the table. I like this location because they also have a nice fountain out front and more seating outside. Lady at the front was very nice and weighed our bowls. For 5 bowls, filled with yogurt and toppings on each it came out to around $45. They charge based on weight. I think it's like 86 cents an ounce. Good spot, my kids loved it and everything was delicious. read more

My wife and I visited this store on Thursday. I understand that it's been hot and this location can get very busy. This has been our family's go to yogurt shop for many years. However I was disappointed with a couple of things. there was no chocolate or coconut, flavored yogurt when I was there. The Yogurt stations were a mess. I believe some of the handles were broken so if a customer didn't shut it off completely, the yogurt was still running down into the tray. This location used to be so clean and inviting however it didn't appear this way now. My wife had gone a couple of days before we went together on this day and she had warned me that they were out of half the flavors in it. It was a mess. I know we'll probably go there again because it really is the only yogurt place in town. Hopefully the conditions will improve on our next visit. read more

Mariah did not accept our coupons, she did not give napkins and she failed to find my account and said this purchase would not count. Not her fault but not good customer service policy. It breaks my heart to see the hard times this YL apparently went through in 2024, judging by many of the reviews.. I will say the times have changed heavily. I find this to be one of the better YL locations in the SoCal area.. It's in a spot that has developed so nicely over the last few years, and there is only more to come I can safely assume. The staff keep the place clean, the bathroom is held together nicely. Toppings bar has been on point during my visits.. I normally enjoy eating inside, but this location has a lovely outdoor seating area with an attractive fountain. It calls to me, so I enjoy my treat outdoors most times.. The kids that work here have always been very friendly. They seem to enjoy their job and work environment. I discovered the banana creme flavor at this YL, so I hold the place close to my heart and soul. read more

The yogurt itself was good, but unfortunately the overall experience at Yogurtland in Chino Hills was disappointing. The dining area was noticeably dirty, and several of the yogurt machine knobs were not working properly. The store really needs to improve its hygiene, cleanliness, and overall sanitation standards. There is always a lack of flavors here. Multiple machine have only one type of yogurt or are completely shut down. Even basic flavors like chocolate are gone. I regularly choose to drive to Brea over this location and I made the mistake tonight by going here first. I really want frozen yogurt so off to Brea I go. read more

Terrible experience today. This is my home base yogurtland and today was the worst experience ever. My child threw up in the trashcan and I cleaned up after my child. I cleaned the floors and the trash can and moved the trashcan outside to be courteous to others in the store. The female employee working on Friday Jan 30 at 7:30 pm decided to spray fabreeze I'm the air around my other child sitting on the table and eating. I was very upset with this and Jo acknowledgment was made. A male employee apologized but she did not have the courtesy to apologize to me or my child. This is wrong in so many ways. You should not spray chemicals in the air when you have a customer sitting and eating. I will never support the yogurtland here at Chino hills. read more

I haven't been to one of their stores in years, but this experience felt consistent with their other locations. All flavors were available, which was great. The machines seemed to be in good condition though a few flavors splattered onto my hand upon pulling the lever. No worries. With no toppings, my semi-full cup came out to $7. Not expensive but also not inexpensive. The employee provided two spoons upon request no questions asked. She also gave me exactly two napkins :) Solid Yogurtland for sure and worth swinging by if you're in the area and craving it. read more

I am a very longtime resident of Chino Hills and have tried this Yogurtland a few times hoping their quality would improve. It hasn't. The place is not well managed, some what dirty but most importantly the frozen yogurt is poor. Our biggest complaint is that it is runny . Sad because Chino Hills really needs a good frozen yogurt shop. How hard would it be to improve the quality of the yogurt here? All it would require is more attention and a little more effort. If you want excellent frozen yogurt go to the Yogurtland in Yorba Linda, even the one in Brea is much better than CH. Both locations also have excellent soft serve chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Please improve things at the Chino Hills location, we don't want to drive so far and would like to support our local businesses. read more

Went in on a Friday afternoon, to redeem gift certificates that both of my children received (5 ounces free). My children began to notice that other kids outside and patrons had the giant Yogurtland spoons. I had my daughter ask, how they would receive one of the spoons. The worker told them that a $10 purchase needed to be made. My total combined was over $10.. $11.43 to be exact! I went in and asked the worker why my children did not receive a spoon and she said it had to be a combined purchase of $10, well then you need to find a way to make my purchase 'together' and not separate because you're not losing out on anything by handing a child a GIANT plastic spoon! read more

I mean, it's Yogurtland. Nothing really to rave about. I was a little disappointed in the topping. Some were not all that fresh. For example, the chocolate donuts tasted stale, and the cookie dough balls tasted old. The other toppings were great though, cherries and peanut butter cups, and the fruits. Just be careful with some of the toppings not being the best. I think what I was most disappointed about was the lack of dairy-free options. The only dairy-free option was some "big pop popsicle" flavor that was gross. Since there wasn't any other options for me, I had to go with that one. It wasn't good at all. At least have a good tasing dairy-free option please. I was also irritated that there was a sign advertising a dairy free Vanilla yogurt made with Oak Milk on the wall. When I asked the server about the Oat Milk option she said they didn't have it yet because it was "too expensive." Uhhhh okay, well then why is it on your wall being advertised as an option? Is that just to pretend you are plant-based friendly? Makes no sense. And was irritating to me to find out that they didn't actually have that even though it was on the sign on the wall. Yougurtland has done an excellent job of making COVID-19 modifications. When we entered there was space to social distance and large decals helped. Topping area that was self-serve now has plastic covering to protect toppings that employees will kindly place on top of your yogurt creation. Dutch Chocolate FROYO, people. I LOVED this place, it was our go-to date night dessert stop for almost a decade. I'd get pretty much the same thing, quite happily, every weekend, 52 weeks a year, rain or swelter. Dutch chocolate fro yo with chopped almonds, & if there was something else yummy, then I'd add a squirt or 2 of those secondary & tertiary flavor choices. My hubby was the same with his plain tart & a few squirts of fruity flavorness. SOOOO GOOD. I'd get their coupon books every year & had since they were free to the 1st 50 people to come at the crack on Black Friday. The last year we did that, I bought SIX of their coupon books (3, 1-year's worth, at over $100 per year's worth, since each book is for 6 mos), crazy excited for my hubby, sons & I to enjoy the fro. I'm lactose intolerant, but I love dairy with a fatal attraction unparalleled, it just doesn't at all love me back. HOWEVER, I could eat a WHOLE CUP of Dutch chocolate fro yo from Yogurtland & not need a single Lactaid pill!!! I'm truly convinced there were ACTUAL live yogurt cultures in their yogurt, unlike many other places who say there are but it's like straight ice cream. I happily paid ridiculous amounts of $$ to keep my freezer stocked with Yogurtland products. (My hubby is a "tart-loving" fellow, & those are amazing too! My sons mostly believe fro yo is a context for toppings, so, they're easily pleased). For all of the years years that we have lived by this location, for the first 7 they always kept the important flavors: Dutch chocolate & plain tart, & then cycled the other yummy options, their chocolate twilight & pistachio nsa fro yos & their dragonfruit/passion fruit tart flavors (so. Gooood.) but then a few years ago, they started having SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM. Huh? At a fro yo place? Whatev, they had choc & vanilla but as they didn't mess with our faves, though we mourned the loss of the secondary & tertiary flavor choices the ice cream replaced & moved on. But then they'd change out my D-choc every once in a while. Ewww. I politely made my requests to the managers & tried to be happy with the hit or miss nature of broadening my yogurtian horizons. I rolled with it. But then they STOPPED having Dutch chocolate AT ALL for OVER A YEAR! OVER. A. YEAR. DURING THE SHUTDOWN. NO medicinal chocolate fro yo? In the most stressful set of years ever??? And every week, on date night, when my hubby & I went in for our weekly fro, & they told me, oh sure, we have chocolate ice cream right there, as if I could eat it (no amount of Lactaid pills can compensate for ice cream or straight milk), & I'd pleasantly put in my request to the stores buyer, I'd get the smile and nod blow off from the cute young people working there who have never had children & do not yet understand the importance of digestible chocolate creaminess to one's parental sanity. Especially when doing distance education for 3 boys. My smile got more & more brittle as the weeks turned into months & we finally gave up, calling in to check every once in a while. We don't really go at all now. At most, if we get a 2 for 1 coupon in the mail, & if we remember before it expires, we'll swing by maybe once, one time twice in a year & poke our heads in when we or the kids want to go for nostalgia's sake. But our freezer is no longer stocked. They almost NEVER. HAVE. DUTCH CHOCOLATE anymore. And my husband's not that committed to the plain tart. So there's no point. And last time I went, I even took my Lactaid pills & still died. So, I think their recipes may have significantly changed. Yogurt here is pretty consistent with what you find at other locations! I do like how the sample cups are by the register and you don't have to bother with asking someone. The only reason why I had to dock stars for this location is due to the customer service. The cashier seriously had a bad case of "rbf" and looked like she hated her job. Not a single smile (not even a forced one). P.S. If you're a Pokemon Go'er, make sure that you don't loiter without buying yogurt. I love my yogurtland. Every week I seem to have a new BEST FLAVOR EVER! Let's see, in the past it has been coffee, rootbeer float, red velvet, pistachio, taro... it changes with the tides lol. Luckily, in the event my favorite for that particular time frame isn't available, there's so many other flavors that I enjoy just as much. Must have toppings for me are the nila wafers, almonds/peanuts, cheesecake bites, cap'n crunch, heath and lets not forget the condensed milk!
