I go here fairly often, but I read something on Nextdoor about this place. A neighbor posted that he saw an employee spray Windex right on top of the Yogurt topping glass without covering the food. Windex is toxic. Just google it. I did. Yes it is a management training issue. But it is also a health issue. Don't think I'll be getting toppings there anymore. Oh and a tip - watch how employees touch your cups - for example when they lift your cup to put it on the scale or when they put a lid. They touch money. If your yogurt is anywhere near the rim, their fingers could contaminate your yogurt. It's happened to me at least 2x that I saw. Now I am very diligent - and I insist on putting my own Lids and make sure I am the one who puts the cups on the scale. read more

This self-serve yogurt shop with an excellent range of flavors and a great topping bar can do no wrong. But you can. That's really the only issue here, is that it is so easy to go overboard with so many flavors and toppings, you end up paying for a hot mess with no one to blame but yourself! While the taste is good, I'm beginning to realize that it's not what I would call premium frozen yogurt--but it's still a fun place to visit once in a while. Love love loveeee yogurtland. If you have an Axxess card, they do deals here but you need to bring the coupon that's in the book. The salted caramel pecan is my absolute favorite! I wish the toppings were more fresh (in terms of the fruit). Service is always really good, and there's a good amount of seating. Towards 10-11, it is crazy-busy and extremely loud (because of the acoustics of the room). I would take it to go because kids + sugar = headache. read more

When I need a little sweet treat that's slightly tart I love getting froyo! First off, the service here is awesome. Every time I've been here, the workers always have a smile on their face and they are all very friendly. Love it! They usually have a decent selection of flavors, and it's nice to have a yogurtland that's closer than downtown (if you live in IV). If I'm feeling fruity, the tart flavor is always my go-to. If I'm feeling more chocolately, cookies and cream never disappoints. Hm... Now I'm craving froyo as I write this review. Might just have to go and get some haha read more

Good decently priced frozen yogurt. This location lacks some of the atmosphere of the downtown branch and the flavors every time I have visited tend toward the sweeter side of their offerings. Would love to me able to have a menu of flavors from yogurtland so I know what yogurt I am eating when I have a variety of flavors. I've been going to Yogurtland for about 9 years now. I have always had good experiences. Unfortunately today 7/22/20 at about 8:25pm, I went with my daughter to the Goleta Calle Real location. I was not in the mood in going out, but my child was craving it. When it came to paying, I asked the young lady that the pad to sign was dirty. She stated, "We clean it after every 3rd person." I let know that was sick and they should be cleaning it after everyone. She then told me there was hand sanitizer. A place like that should be cleaning after every clients especially now with COVID-19. read more

My son just accidentally dropped his yogurt & I tell 'Stephanie', and she says "there's nothing I can do about it", so I tell her out of courtesy you should comp him another, especially when we came in with 10 kids! Now he's sitting here w/his friends watching them eat. I tell Stephanie its a big, huge mess on the floor & that you might want to clean it up before someone steps in it. She basically ignored me & just said yeah, I'll get to it. We have businesses here in town & our customers are ALWAYS first, we do whatever it takes. This location lacks customer service big time! I really like the layout of this particular Yogurtland. Most of the other shops have some quite funky layouts and I always feel claustrophobic in them, but the Goleta location is an exception. Yogurtland Goleta sets the model of what an ideal Yogurtland should be. I haven't seen so many tables in any of the Yogurtland shops back in LA or Orange County. I always feel the pressure to get in and get out because there's nowhere to sit. This will never ever ever ever ever be an issue. As for the yogurt during my visit, they all met my expectations for the perfect consistency. Not too icy, but smooth. They only lack in the number of flavors available, only 12 here. All the toppings laid out were fresh, and I'm becoming to think they may actually have more choices than any average Yogurtland. They have a policy of "one sample cup per use", and that is understandable. The friendly staff said I could always come back for more, but they gave me three sample cups, which was more than I needed. I can't wait to treat myself to another cup and their cute spoons.
