The atmosphere is warm, lively, and always welcoming, whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or settling in for the evening. My absolute must-order every time is the short rib grilled cheese sandwich--it's genuinely the best thing on the menu. Perfectly rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it's the kind of dish you end up craving long after you leave. It's also a great place for date night or hanging out with friends. Some nights they even have live music, which really adds to the vibe and makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Between the food, drinks, and atmosphere, Steel Wheel always delivers!

I had the banana pudding, it was perfectly moist and not too strong on the banana. The beers were cold and refreshing on a sat night listening to live bands? Couldn't get any better! Def recommend Steel wheel for a drama free night out. But keep in mind they do get pretty busy by like 6pm. I believe they do take reservations, def make one if you plan on visiting. Otherwise you'll be on top of others by the bar aka don't be that annoying kinda person.

I got a chicken Ceasar salad wrap and it is by far hands down the best Caesar wrap I have ever had! The milkshake was good too for a nice sweet treat! I've been there twice since it's been renovated and I have to say it's really pretty every time you go in. It's also focused on Italian items like their sodas that they offer imported for Italy a cola. The service is always great. The gentleman was very welcoming and very spot on on what he knew note that if you can't find parking in the front, there's parking in the back. The front is the main street and I will say the creamery edition. I'm definitely going back to get a pint to bring home. I also bought a gift certificate because it's the holiday season. Everything's fresh. They offer hot lunch that's out in the open all different types of salad salads out in the open. The one thing I didn't notice is they added empanadas which is there rice ball they are humongous so if you really have or wants not something too crazy for lunch that's a recommendation. My usual still is today chicken cutlet with fresh mozzarella olive oil on a focaccia the new style that they have is actually a focaccia roll.

We tried two of the specials: the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, which was absolutely delicious, and the chicken saltimbocca, which was fantastic -- by far the best dish of the night. We also had the cacio e pepe pasta, which unfortunately missed the mark. It was extremely undercooked -- even hard to cut with a butter knife -- so that was a bit disappointing. That said, everything else was wonderful! The desserts were outstanding -- their tartufo is unique and not like others I've had, and the Nutella ricotta pie was my absolute favorite. Very rich, very sweet, and a generous portion. Despite the pasta hiccup, we really enjoyed our meal and would absolutely come back again! Oddly they don't have a cappuccino maker and no regular coffee-just espresso I believe.

The carbonara was made nicely and didn't feel too heavy like other places. I thought the red sauce pastas were a bit lacking in flavor. Amatriciana didn't have any spice. Pomodoro needed some salt. Romaine salad was small and had too many croutons. Eggplant was delicious. We went during the day so there wasn't much ambiance perse. It is run by a family, and they were attentive. They are very serious about their work and respecting Italian traditions, which is commendable!
