I joined the waitlist coming to the restaurant, the wait list said max 2 hours of wait, I asked the hostess and he said 2 hours. We left the restaurant and come back after 2 hours ... wait for 20 minutes inside the restaurant before the hostess ask us to wait outside, they said they are short I. staff and have a slow kitchen and customers were staying longer, that they have no control on time. If they know they are not good in time they should not receive more people in the waitlist. This place has great reviews and very popular. I got my name on the wait list and was seated promptly. The place was packed on a Thursday night. The waitress told us that they are known for their all you can eat menu. That should've been our first clue. Not a good idea. They have an all you can eat option for approximately $35, but this value requires a hearty appetite for 3 or more menu items per person. A family favorite. Get on the waiting list for any expected busy time (Friday nights). Being a walk up without a reservation can have wait times up to 3 hours. read more

genuinely waited in line for seven hours to then wait in fourth spot to be told that i needed to be there and check in without that being mentioned anywhere on the site. after I had waited outside for an hour. I feel like this should have been mentioned atleast when checking in, i've been here multiple multiple multiple times, even last valentine's day and three weeks ago and i've never had to check in in person. i've always been told to wait outside until I am next because they don't want you waiting inside. A good sushi spot with AYCE option, a lot of interesting rolls. My favorite is the one with soft shell crab. The service is good and quick. As a AYCE fan, my only complaint for this place is that they make their rolls way too big with too much rice. Maybe it's their way to prevent wasting too much food by customers. But as a sushi lover, I can't try some rolls that I am interested because I was stuffed very quickly. read more

After a few days in Idaho we craved some rolls and after reading several Yelp reviews we ended up here. I'm not surprised by how busy it was based on the reviews. I mean it was a Friday and the all you can eat special seems to be a hit according to our server. It's priced at $31+ per person and it's a steal of a deal, too bad we were in a hurry to get to the airport or we would have given it a try. The food was great , had edamame and shrimp tempura as our appetizers. My hubby ordered the Rainbow Roll and I ordered the Anger Management Roll. They were tasty and satisfied our craving. I would say the ambience was busy and ok, but necessarily friendly and inviting as were other restaurants in Idaho. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're like us and need to satisfy a craving. read more

Our second time coming here. The first time was several months ago and we were hesitant to have the all you can eat sushi. Parker was our sever and he explained the AYCE includes all appetizers, Nigeri and all rolls on the menu. We started with edamame and added spice to it. Pretty good. Also ordered shrimp tempura. They were slender but very tasty. We ordered the Anger Management and Lion King rolls to start. Both were amazing. Parker suggested the Rush Hour roll, so we ordered that next along with another Anger Management roll. The Rush Hour roll is now on our fav list. Another order of shrimp tempura and an Anger Management roll (yes, we had 3 AM rolls!), and we were D-done. Service was awesome, food outstanding and we had a great time. Be forewarned this place gets busy so be patient, put your name on the wait list and chill outside and wait your turn. After about a 30 min wait we got seated. Inside is very open and great modern ambiance. Service 5 star all the way!! Our sever Abby was so amazing and was 100% on top of everything with our party of 6. This is an all you can eat sushi spot and while I am usually not a fan of these this place hit it right. Great quality, value and you definitely don't feel skimped in any way. My phone was acting up so no pics last night but this place for sure delivered on everything I ordered. The all you can eat is $33 for adults and depending on your appetite this includes all appetizers and anything on the menu. Drinks were also reasonably priced and we all for sure left stuffed!!! Will do sure be coming back and great Boise find!! read more

went for their all you can eat but wait time was crazy we checked in was scheduled for three hours out so time to be there was at 20:21 and at latest 20:51. Thats fine and plenty of time to get seated but we decided to leave after 21:10 because we were still #9 on the list with last call for all you can eat 21:45 that leaves no time to sit and eat. Wait staff is notoriously swamped understadably so service is pretty slow so at best i would have maybe gotten 1-2 rounds of all you can eat sushi. While I have never had bad food here it seems they have a staffing issue and are not able to provide reasonable turn around times for customers. Yoi tomo may have out grown its current location and needs to grow in size and staff. read more

Brandon was so friendly and recommended the best rolls. and after talking with him it seemed like the restaurant was prepared for a crazy day and they got that! Came here for AYCE during lunchtime with a party of 3. It wasn't busy at all, which was nice as I know it can be an upwards of an hour wait during peak hours. The service was quick and friendly! I was shocked by how extensive their AYCE menu was. It included so many different types of rolls and I loved that a large majority of them are named after films, which makes it interesting! I devoured the nigiri and especially liked their Iron Man roll. If you plan on ordering an app and/or more than one roll, pull the trigger and order AYCE instead because you'll 100% get your money's worth. As a side note, your entire party does not have to do AYCE either so that's also an option. All in all, highly highly recommend this spot! read more

A family favorite!... a place for anyone to find food they'll enjoy... and the most fun way to share a sushi experience. Certainly their AYCE is the best way to feed teenaged boys who are sushi fans and take quite a lot of filling up! Some of us don't feel like we eat that much, but by the time you eat only two rolls plus some gyoza, the AYCE price is better... saved our family of 5 nearly $90 last night!! Some reviews complain that some rolls have only 1 or 2 different ingredients but I really appreciate that approach since we have to wrestle with a food allergy. Truly, they have so many different offerings, I don't understand the complaints! Although these chefs were more than willing to make rolls without an ingredient or two, I find that approach generally reduces my enjoyment--and why wouldn't it... you are messing with the flavors and textures the chef de cuisine meant for you to experience!! Our waiter was personable and attentive--and double-checked everything to ensure we enjoyed a safe and satisfying meal. I don't even live in this state, but this was our third visit and I'm sure it won't be our last. read more

Best not to expect seating within two hours of arrival on a weekend night -without getting on the wait-list via Yelp before leaving home. We went somewhere else for dinner this past Saturday, but we now know they're finally taking reservations in this format. We've loved them for years but damn. Very busy, paying for parking, the price keeps going up, and it can get loud in there.
