We were sat by the windows on the far side of the dining room on the right side of the building when you walk in. We hadn't been to an Olive Garden in over a year due to the fact that the only chain restaurant in Elko (besides fast food places) is Wingers. SMH. So you could imagine we were all excited. Candy was absolutely amazing. She was so nice and dealt with my son and his order wonderfully, and we found out she used to live in Elko too! We ordered Chicken Marsala Fettuccine, Chicken Parmesan w/ Angel hair pasta, and a kids create your own that my son decided would be Fettuccine with Alfredo & Crispy chicken with French fries. We also got salad, breadsticks and a Chicken Gnocchi soup (not pictured.) The food was amazing. The Chicken Marsala was everything I was craving and really hit the spot. I want to come back for this pasta soon, so bad. My boyfriend loved his chicken Parmesan and said it was breaded well and not soggy. My first time coming in I was sat at a table with three teenagers, this is not the issue. The issue is where when one of them joked about asking for a drink and kidding because he will get IDed, I guess the server thought to give his two cents and said yes the kid would but also giving the underage kid underage drinking tips. While this is not inherently Olive Garden itself fault it is within the least to make sure their staff is speaking appropriately and respectfully at all times while engaging with customers, which if he felt comfortable enough to make a joke like that once I am more than positive its happened on more then one account but that is not my only had experience. Today I went in to try their endless pasta and the hostess whispers something to the waiter before seating me with a smile and my waitress looked utterly disgusted. Regardless of if that was directed towards me or not I am unsure but regardless it left me insecure, uncomfortable and honestly just killed my mood for the rest of my time there. I also noticed my waitress was nice to the two girls at the table beside me, my waitress never said "you're welcome" or "no problem!" to any of my thank yous which only added to thought of my waitress maybe hating me, and even if she did she didnt have to make it so obvious. But to conclude every time the waiter or waitress finds a way to make my experience there awkward.
