I got nice greeting and friendly. Second time i came to store i wore my cheap blouse and short ( nothing fancy) and yes i'm Asian but they still treat me very nice and helpful (so they are not racist) that day i came back home with very pretty dress , pants and blouses. Third time i found things i like but i need some advice to decide and the sales named Kelsey she help me even though she was busy with training new employee. I took her advice and i really love what i bought that day. :) Their clothes are not cheap but u get what you paid. What i like about this place are 1.they carry XS size for small person like me 2.they have some good quality local brand which is not too expensive and unique. 3.premium denim wear 4.there are many style in this place. This boutique has been in business for 12 years if they really have very bad service or racist i don't think they can survive in Davis because people can drive to Nordstrom in SAC or go to SF to find a lot of nice boutique there. Last, i have nothing involved to this place so these are all my real experience and i get nothing from this review. If this store really gave ppl bad service in the past so i guess they work hard and improv themselves. I want to say Keep it up and being fashion forward Pinkdot! I always wants to see your new cool stuff there.

It was definitely the best women's store I've ever been in and both my girls seemed to agree. Then I read some of the nasty reviews and I felt compelled to post this. We couldn't have been treated better by the manager and another gal working there. It reminded me of that saying "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." I'm sure that applies here for the few haters that didn't get their petty ways. Trust me--there's no way any female into fashion won't absolutely love this place! Davis is lucky to have it.

Hearts for Paws aka Dani, Brandi are going above and beyond to help us find a dog that is meant for…read moreour family. This rescue is known to rescue dogs on the verge of being euthanized, paying exorbitant vet fees to care for the animals and pouring through dozens of applications to find a perfect forever home for each and every dog. As a non profit organization this is no easy task. When the time comes, we look forward to meeting our newest family member. Thank you for all you do.

I cannot recommend staying away from Hearts for Paws enough. I'm not someone to leave negative reviews EVER. But our experience with Hearts for Paws was so awful that I feel compelled to warn others away. We were very interested in doing a trial adoption (and hopefully adopting) a dog from them. We brought her home for what was stipulated to as a 5-7 day trial. When we picked her up, the foster noted some concerns they had--namely that the dog wouldn't do well in a small apartment like ours, as she was currently running on a 5 acre property. They were also concerned that she wouldn't do well with our cat, as she has a high prey drive (though we'd been told by the rescue that she was good with cats). Knowing this, we still decided to give it a try. The poor dog whined every day and night. She'd settle for a short period before beginning to whine and pace again. It was very obvious that she was upset and needed more space. We took her for 3 hour long walks each day, but even that wasn't enough. Further, the whining and pacing intensified, and she started jumping at closed doors, including the door to the room our cat was in. Our cat was petrified. Heartbroken but knowing this wasn't going to work, we reached out to the foster and the rescue. The foster was a sweetheart, and was ready to meet us to take the dog back. The rescue was another story. She rapidly started lobbing attacks at us when we explained we wanted to return her as soon as possible. She said horrifying things, and even told us we should hold onto her longer because "no one had died" so all must be well. She told us that if she had to take the dog back sooner (mind you we were trying to return the dog to the foster, not her), it would risk this dog's and other's lives. She sent us a photograph of a dead dog's brain splattered on the road, telling us this was the kind of thing that happened because of people like us. I won't share the screenshots of her messages or the photo, as it doesn't need to be done here. But needless to say, this is not a rescue worth dealing with, nor is it one who seems to really take seriously what's best for pets. I would not ever go near this team.
