I've been coming here for at least six years and last week I had my last "massage" here at Foot and Body Spa. I am so disappointed to have to write a two-star review but after that experience, they earned it. I decided to treat myself to a 90-minute full body massage right after work and called to see if someone was available. The lady on the other line advised me to come right away so I headed over immediately. I made the mistake to not ask if the therapist would be female (which is always my preference) as the only person available when I arrived was male. Although I visibly felt uncomfortable about this, the man who checked me in (who I assume is a new owner since I haven't seen him before) assured me he was good. My visit began going downhill from here... Although I was there for a 90-minute full body massage, they did not have a private room available and directed me to just a curtained area in the main room. While I was subject to a bit of privacy, I heard every single noise made by the man working the front desk (and all of his obnoxious personal calls), that same man (owner) and another employee loudly arguing at each other just outside the front door, other guests checking-in / paying, guests laughing with each other, etc. My relaxing massage went down the drain quickly. The massage therapist was decent but I felt he was too intrusive and it was hard for me to communicate exactly what I wanted. He definitely didn't understand when I would give him directions of areas to focus on and would just laugh in uncomfortableness. I also noticed that the thin "blanket" used had a watermelon-sized hole in it so I had to move it to cover myself up more. Awful! I typically have a hard time being candid when I am not satisfied with pampering services I paid for but I had to share my disservice with the man in front as I felt he needed to know how his managing of the front desk really ruined my time there. He apologized and gave me a pitiful $5 discount. What a joke! I will NEVER be back as there are too many other options of massage places in the area. I've seen this place go downhill over the years and attempted to remain loyal (until now). There's a lot they need to work on unless they want to get more similar reviews. read more

Amazing service always! My mom, Gina, has been coming here for years now and she always mentions how amazing their service is. She brought me today because i've been experiencing a lot of back and shoulder pain bc I am on my feet for more than 10-12 hours a day. Anita, my masseuse, was amazing! She was very communicative on her pressure, always making sure it was appropriate and didn't hurt. My mom always gets her massage done by Tina and she has created quite a bond with her so she asked me to shout Tina and Anita out! Revised: I misunderstood! Thought only cash was accepted for tips! I loved our experience start to finish. Beautiful atmosphere don't let the outside area fool you. Very friendly staff. Took my mother in law for her first massage as a bday gift and she loved it too. The music and dark setting made for such a comfy and intimate massage. We did 60 min deep tissue massage with cbd oil and hot stones. We both requested medium pressure and I think at times it felt a little hard but nothing unbearable! Very professional, very accommodating, and very clean facility. I booked a couples massage for me and my boyfriend. We called the same day, and they accommodated us which I immensely appreciated. The therapist knew exactly what to do, how to adjust, and take the massage very seriously if they feel a certain amount of knots and tension. My friend and I have been here twice. This place is comparable to the $15 foot massages in rowland heights or westminster, but some of these businesses have been spreading into other areas. Instead this place is $20/hr, probably due to higher rent. If you aren't familiar to these places, you come into a dimmed/dark room with a bunch of chairs/massage stations and they bring out a tub of hot water for you to soak in. Some places have you sit, but this place has you laying down. They have you face up while they massage your scalp, face, and arms before they go to your feet. Then they flip you over and massage your back for the remaining 15ish minutes. The first time I came here, I left pretty happy. It was great!! I would have given this business a four-star. I considered coming her for convenience instead of driving out to rowland... However the second visit would have earned them a two-star. Luckily I averaged it instead of taking the most recent visit to mind... ... .. It was SO HORRIBLE. They had the receptionist start off on me. She seemed like she really didn't know what she was doing, but lotioning me up and rubbing on me, not massage techniques... Then after massaging my left arm, there was a long break. Then I swear someone else came to massage my right arm. The technique was different, this lady did not use enough lotion, her nails were too long and digging into my flesh AND her hands were sooooooo dry it was like sandpaper.. .. .. .. .. Overall I HATED IT -_-' I was so miserable I just wantd to tell her to GET THA F*** OFF. But in consideration that Chinese/Vietnamese New years was the next day, I didn't wanna be douchy.. .. .. Ohh one more thing... the ambiance here is a hit or miss. The first time it was really relaxing til one of the worker's phone went off -_- except she didn't go silence it. And they were really chatty. The second time, it smelled really smoky. If their workers smoke, they really need to wash their hands and rinse their mouths with some mouth wash... And speaking of scent... I HATE THE SMELL OF THE LOTION THEY USE -_-' hate hate hate... My friend and I agree that it smells HORRIBLE. Overall, bring your own lotion and pray you have a good masseuse if you come here. The massage was good however massaging my head I was left with half of my hair in all knotted up literally a knot wrapped around my head. The best place I have ever been too! I've been to plenty of different massage/spa places and nothing compared to this one! Everyone was so kind. The massage felt great! AND you can choose whether you want a "sport" like massage or a regular massage.(There is also other options) A "sport" like massage I would recommend if you have knee problems.
