I get the mega 9D-16D mink eyelash extensions which are very light and natural. I love being able to wake up 5 min before Zoom meeting and not having to put on eyeliner or mascara! Just some info on me, I have very oily skin and my natural lashes are very few and thin. **old review** My honest opinion. The hair quality is great. I paid extra $28 for the 5D/9D. The glue she used didn't irritate my eyes at all. The end result was lovely. The last time I had results this great was in Japan. The next day about half of the hairs on my left eye fell off. It's been less than a week and about 70% of all the lashes are gone. My friends thought I had them done a month ago and I had to explain it's less than a week. The first time I got sooo many "wow they look so natural" comments. I have been coming here for almost a year now!! And I would never let anyone else touch my eyelashes! She has been doing this for a decade long, her work is quick and lasts me a LONG TIME. Sometimes I don't even refill for 1 whole month and I still have half of my lashes on. I've been to a lot of different lash bars, beauty salons, instagram girls, and I always run into problems or extremely high prices. I've tried them all and I'm so glad I found a consistent, kind, and quality lash artist! Other places I've gone, my extensions fall out after a week and I can clearly see gaps. But when I come to her my lashes can go up to 3 weeks with barely any gaps. I've asked her before why do her lashes last longer and she tells me that she uses more expensive/ better quality glue and she's been doing this long enough to know the difference. Her shop is small but her work speaks for herself. I find this place way better and relaxing than other beauty bars. She is very king and very patient with you. She always works with you and what you like. She also follows the shape of your eye very well unlike other places that just fill your lash up with a bunch of lashes. LONG TIME REVIEW COMING! This is the first and only place I've gotten my lashes done. Let me start off by saying, I have no idea how to put on false lashes. Last time I tried, it was glued to my eyelid and I looked like the chihuahua meme lol so I thought how can I make it easier on myself? Let me try the eyelash extensions that has become the new fad that is sweeping our country. So I hopped onto my trusty Groupon app that I pay a premium for Groupon select to give me extra discounts on top of discounts. I snatched up this great deal here and called to set my very first appointment back in February. By then, the business had just started. Angel was very nice. Although she forgot about our appointment in the wee morning hours, she made her way down within 15 minutes. She talked about the lashes I had purchased, let me know the quality of it and offered me discounted prices to upgrade (only if I wanted) I did not feel obligated at all. As I did opt in for the higher quality lashes, she laid me down on the table, put on some soothing music, and tucked me in like a child with a heavy blanket to keep me cozy. Within minutes I knocked out for that 1.5hr of her doing my lashes. Time flew by so quickly and I woke up to a "WHO DAT BISH?!" Looking back at me in the mirror. lol I was definitely feeling myself. She wasn't able to fill my lashes completely full as my lashes are short and weak and brittle and all kinds of WTFs. But she offered me a free fill within the week if too many started to fall. I happily obliged and came back for that free fill. When I came for the fill, Angel let me know about another promotion she had going on. LETS CALL IT A MEMBERSHIP DEAL. It was $160 for her best quality lashes, along with 3 fills. I honestly thought this was a steal. So of course I took it. And for the next few months, I had these eye popping lashes that everyone complimented ALL THE TIME! Until they started falling out and I didn't have time to get my fills in on time and I started looking like a crackhead LOL ANYWAYS!! After my membership ended and I finished my last fill, angel let me know that she has no problem continuing with the promotion if I wanted. I didn't hop on it right away, but when I was about to leave for China. I talked myself into doing the package once again. This time around, Angel just got in some even better quality lashes. Same promotion of the lashes plus three fills, but at $198. I could go with either lashes. The original I got or the new ones. I said, why not?! Promote the small business of a hard working business owner and shoot for better lashes. At this point it's August and angel has a few technicians working under her now. Before leaving, angel offered a referral deal. People I refer would receive a discount on their lashes, along with me receiving a discount. I'm not sure what discount I would receive as I paid for my promotion in full up front but I'll ask the next time I'm in. I'm already planning on bringing my mom to do it as my mom has been asking for months about it, and it's about to be her birthday! & I told my sister too. I wish they had more than two rooms, or I'd bring the three of us to do it at the same time but it's fine. Anywho, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING AND TRYING THIS PLACE OUT! It's such a good deal, comparing to normal eyelash extension sets ranging at way high prices. I'll post pictures of my lashes after my next fill. Six months in and I'm still loving the outcome guys! Came here after buying a $30 Groupon that I managed to get down to $18 with student discount code and an extra few $ off the deal for the day. Called Angel to book the appointment for a Friday at 2pm and she kept it super professional as she finished with the client before me right on time so that she could talk me through my lash options. The Groupon set of lashes would have been pretty heavy and lesser quality so I got talked into upgrading to the most premium option 5D/9D Russian mink lashes for an additional $38. I'm the type of person who gets things like this done only for special occasions, but recently decided to try it out so that I could skip the mascara part of my routine and be my lazy true self.
