I love this yoga studio, it's truly become my second home. I go about four times a week across all locations, and every class leaves me feeling relaxed and replenished. I have been attending bi-weekly classes with Yonder Yoga for nearly a year with about two years experience of Hot Yoga classes in total. Before taking my first yoga class, I was not aware of the many tangible benefits of practicing yoga. First, I felt the dopamine boost from the sweating and the movement. Then I started to feel more flexible and even stronger in my core, arms and legs. Once I got more confident in class after getting used to hearing the names of the many asanas and no longer had to look around to see what to do, I felt the mind and body connection much stronger. Yoga became my me time and also helped me get in even better shape. Now, I can truly see how connecting to your breath not only relaxes your body but it also provides you with energy and peace. The studio is well organized and always clean. Parking is free and easily accessible. Even when things are busy at high volume class times, the check in process is always smooth and efficient. The vibe of the studio feels bright, modern, peaceful and positive. However, some serious sweating goes down in class! Even when I fall out of a pose or accidentally turn the opposite way of the class, I always feel like I can easily get back into the flow. All of the instructors that I have had (30+ different teachers), give clear and concise cues and helpful tips about certain asanas. There is a sense of community among all the challenges and business of living in the city. I am a fairly new to the Yonder family, I started in June, and have been "consistently" going for the last month and a half. So far, I have been to Buckhead, Perimeter and Midtown locations. I tried Westside recently, and I loved it! While each location has its own personality, I love the neighborhood Westside is located in. It's right near Spiller Coffee, tropical smoothie AND Publix (I love being conveniently located near all the things). In addition to that, this location has the best showers/locker room. I typically don't shower AT the studios, but I was pressed for time that day, and I was impressed at how much room I had to get myself ready. I like rotating studios so that I can get to know different instructors, everyone has been really kind and helpful so far. The instructors are invested in their students, you can tell they're not just "there" to be there, and I appreciate that. For anyone unfamiliar with the area, the parking is free and right in front of the studio, however because it is in a shopping center, the space fills up quick!. There is one more Yonder studio for me to venture out to, so be on the lookout for my next review on that one. read more

Don't use the communal yoga mats. They smell like fungus and spoiled milk. Everytime I did a chaturanga I got a whiff of the foul smell. I was too scared to lay belly down and had a sour stomach the whole session. I've never been to a yoga studio where the mats smelled that bad, even gyms have cleaner smelling mats. The classes themselves are great, hands on great instructors, probably one of the better flow vinyasa style classes in Atlanta. But heed my warning, always bring your own mat. read more

Yonder yoga is a wonderful community. The Westside space is a rad yoga studio. Great teachers and plenty of space.

Yonder overall is a good studio, but it's starting to feel like their instructors are more focused on how HARD they can make the class, and it feels less and less of a spiritual practice. When you're in a class and more than half of the participants are sitting down or have walked out of the room, it's a sign that it's too much. I'm all for uptempo music, but I recently took a class that played rap the entire time, even as we settled into the restorative part of class. My favorite instructors who lead with intention and consideration of their students are Morenke, Mary Fletcher, Maggie and Asaada. read more

I'm hooked! I've done some yoga classes before, but I decided to try hot yoga because of the $40 new member for I've month special, and because I see it so often right by my main gym. I'm 5 classes in, and it's been amazing! As a runner, this has already helped my range of motion and improved my flexibility overall. And doing it in the 90+ degree heat feels purifying, almost like a sauna. Everyone from the front desk to the instructors to the people taking classes are super friendly and welcoming. And for being an obviously sweaty environment, they keep it very nice and clean. Especially between classes. I would definitely recommend trying it out. Show up earlier to get set up, come hydrated and with water, and be ready to sweat! read more

I haven't taken a class inside the studio, yet Sundays at 11A on top of the Ted's Montana Grill's restaurant, I'm getting my flow in all the same. Not only is Bryce a good vibe type of guy, but his teachings & guidance also provide a challenge for your spirit, mind, body & soul. The instructors and staff here are very kind and talented. They have some of the best instructors that i have ever experienced and I've been to 8 studios in the metro area lol. Selby, Darby and Liston are my favs I am giving 3 stars because I feel like it could be cleaner They have disinfectant spray but no towels and ask that you use the towel that was just on your sweaty face to wipe down the blocks. (EW!) There are no available wipes in the studio either. For the amount of money they charge for memberships ($100+) there should be much better practices in place to ensure that the individuals and studio space is cleaner. read more

At first, they were not letting us use these props due to COVID but as time passed I think they got relaxed about this, however, I didn't see them sanitize after our use, and COVID is still here. We put everything back into the room with all the "clean" stuff after using them, so I can't grasp fully how they are keeping that hygienic. There was no mention of the process either so.... I just bought all my own stuff and I'll sanitize myself just in case. read more

Once again, half stars would be great but I'm not going to deduct a point since it was my first time and I don't know if they're always that crowded. CON: Too many people. I took the 7PM class on Tuesday. 5 rows of 8 people. I've got long arms and legs, so it made it difficult to get full expression in some poses or there was a butt way to close to my face in others... PROs: It's a great workout. I was dripping sweat from everywhere and I forgot my Galaxy watch so it doesn't even count. ‍ You can opt into assistance during class and Teachers will come around to help with your poses. I started by going to a couple of community rooftop class with a friend. I eventually started going to the studio regularly. I've take a few instructors and they are all amazing. Special shout out to Jovas and Sarah. I'm newer to yoga, and I love how Sarah slows down the flow in the Foundations class (I'd love for this class to be offered more). GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Terrible customer service. Dismissive company owners. Great yoga flow. WAY over crowded rooms. Overall Great Instructors. In a world where consumers have plenty of options, its pretty baffling when a yoga studio doesn't care about their customers and makes it extremely difficult to talk to someone about the experience and give feedback. I typically try to resolve any issues or feedback directly with a business but as the Yonder Yoga staff made very little effort to actually address my concerns, I'll leave this here. I've been going to this studio for a couple of years and have seen quite a bit - instructors not show up for classes, instructors be absolutely rude (well, its mostly just one instructor), shower drains overflowing for days, and extremely over-crowded rooms. I understand that owning a business is hard and that fitness studios are not always the most profitable, but this is the worst experience I've had as a consumer. They provide fluffy email responses and they seem to only pretend to acknoweldge the humans supporting their businesses and who they claim are a part of their community. They have such strange business practices for a yoga studio. The good: 1) the yoga philosophy and flow is actually really great. It's always well structured and the rooms are almost always kept at a good temperature. 2) for the most part, the instructors are also really good - they have some they are REALLY good. It's also really cool to see new instructors start teaching at a certain level and then continue to grow into much stronger instructors. The bad and the ugly: 1) An instructor didn't show up for a 6am class. The studio did allow every one to reutilize their class payment but they weren't all that apologetic. 2) I called in one morning to see if I could move my class spot to another class. The instructor that morning told me to show up to the next class and that 'he'd figure it out.' When I arrived to see what was possible, a more senior instructor basically bite my head off and yelled at me about studio policies... completely dismissing the fact that I had been having a conversation with another instructor. It was embarrassing as a customer and even more embarrassing to watch the other instructor sheepishly back away. 3) On a whim, I purchased an annual package and I took a lot of classes over the year. I love the morning classes because they are not as packed. Weekend and evening classes are packed so tightly that you can't actually do some of the flow poses without stepping on another person's mat (which I'm not really into). 4) if you are stuck in the front right corner of the west side studio, its hard to breathe because the studio mats are so poorly cleaned that the stink of the storage area moves out into the studio itself. 5) They don't clean the shower drains enough. Water builds up in the shower and spills all over the locker room floor. I shared this with the front desk staff multiple times this summer. I think it might be finally fixed but it was so strange to observe every single person act like they didn't know about it and it happened for months on end. 6) I purchased an annual membership.. which in most places, has an implied renewal period. I emailed asking a question about guest passes with my package and indicated that I was interested in 'renewing' (not buying a new package which is the distinction that later they are trying to make). No one said anything about it not actually being a renewal product, although I did get a sugary "that's great that you are going to renew!" 7) When I later reached out to ask why I hadn't seen a payment come through, they told me that it was a renewal product and that I would have to pay the new price. When I asked to talk to someone on the phone, they ignored my questions and were repeatedly dismissive of my emails saying things like "well, at least the new price is only $50 more!" It's seriously not about the $50, it's about the terribly dismissive and aloof responses - it blows my mind that they don't get that. 8) I had to ask 3 times for a manager before one of the founders responded (still dismissively) and then rather than calling me, she told me when I could call her. I called the studio to follow up and still no answer. Rather than truly looking to connect and understand - or be present such as what is taught in yoga- she defended the inadequate responses that had previously been provided and refused to uphold legally binding contract terms (there's language in the contract implies its a renewal product). When a co-owner handles customers poorly, its pretty clear the tone that is set for the community - it all seems like such a facade and is truly disappointing. In essence, go at your own risk. read more

Can't say enough great things about this studio! The ambience is on point, the studio is always extremely clean, and the entire staff is kind. Usually you go to yoga studio and find a few instructors you like and avoid everybody else... This is not that. Every class I've taken, the instructor has been incredible, and a total delight! I absolutely LOVE Yonder Yoga. As a first time yogi, I've attended 24 classes in the last 22 days. YY's instructors and staff are so friendly and supportive, and as a complete n00b, I don't feel timid or embarrassed to ask questions about anything at all. I've tried 13 different instructors since beginning my "30 days for $30" trial, and I've learned something new not only from the teachers but also from my peers. Try everyone. Also, another recommendation I have is to try BOTH Buckhead and Westside studios. They are different, but they are both fantastic. I like to change it up for variety in clientele and setting since many of the instructors teach at both locations. read more

I absolutely LOVE this studio! I have been to several yoga studios in the city but yonder is BY FAR the best. I love the hot rooms and how personable & knowledgeable the instructors are. I have been going to yonder for 3+years now and it's changed my life. I can't say enough about yonder & their stuff! The flows are fast & intense so you feel like you're getting a great workout. The instructors are great at queuing through & offer hands on adjustments (if you want) and I love that. Westside & midtown studios get hot so those are my favorite but Inman Park location doesn't tend to get as spicy if the heat bothers you (but it's still hot yoga). They have something for everyone! Dane, Theo, Maggie, & Darby, are my top favorites! I've recently taken Kylie C, Asaada, & Tressa's classes & they're great as well! I definitely recommend trying out a couple of different trainers to find the ones who fit what you're looking for. I was not paid for this review nor do I know any of the staff personally. The Westside location in particular is so great! Very central to so many things in the metro area, very clean, and they adhere to the Covid guidelines for the city of Atlanta. I have never considered myself to be a yogi. On average, I would take a yoga class maybe 3 - 4 times a year and I truly never understood why anyone would want to do anything in a room purposely heated to 90+ degrees. Then, Yonder Yoga came along. I still wouldn't consider myself a yogi, but I have become addicted to the classes and the community. I've been taking classes there 4 - 5 times a week since they've opened, and on the days I don't go, I find myself wishing I had. The instructors are kind yet motivating and instantly make you feel apart of their family. The facilities are clean and beautiful. The classes are different every time and they leave you feeling strong mentally and physically. The entity of Yonder is warm, encouraging, and welcoming. I highly recommend it! read more

As I walked him I greated DANE at the front desk , excited to be there ! her response was" sHhhh , use your inside voice " I had to actually digest what she was saying and taken back that she would carry on with an adult like that ! I recently visited Yonder Yoga at their new location in Dunwoody. The people are great! Lynn taught the class and was super encouraging. Her dialogue had great flow and was easy to listen to and follow. It was my friend's birthday and her 200th class with Yonder Yoga and they made her feel so special. The studio is beautiful, clean and spacious. I've done hot yoga for 20 years, even got certified as an instructor and I totally enjoyed this style of yoga. I was introduced to YY through a friend of mine who received his teacher training there. I join initially to support him, but it quickly became a staple in my weekly life. I have been pursuing my MBA part time in the evenings at Georgia Tech while working full time. Needless to say stress and anxiety were two common feelings I consistently felt. For this reason, I looked for an outlet to help cope with the daily pressures. The outlet I discovered was yonder yoga. There are so many reasons why I love those studio, but the foremost reason is the community. My husband and I have made so many great friends not only in the instructors, but the participants as well. This community is made up of all types of people, which is a reflection of the westside neighborhood. The community's strong cultures and values are a direct result of the owners and instructors encouraging universal acceptance. I have nothing but positive things to say about this studio.
