Once you turn onto Bennett, you drive almost all the way to the end of the street but take a left onto short street and the studio is located at the building at the top of the street. They have too big, open studios with lots of natural light. Always a plus! Krishaunda lead our session. She started us with Vinyasa flow and ended our last 20 minutes with Restorative yoga. Classes go for about 90 minutes, you'll sweat, and if there's a stretch you can't do, the instructor comes over to either fix you posture, or offer assistance in the form of extra blocks, etc. Located off of Waddell St, Yoga Samadhi has a private gravel lot that can get full, but we found parking. Getting in and out of this place was no problem, and being close to Atlanta, it's a must try if you have even the slightest interest in Yoga. Good group of people who really are focused on delivering a great yoga experience.

They have plenty of blankets and bolsters to help you out if you need it, as well. My class was with Doug and he was great: didn't move too fast but wasn't painfully slow, always providing advice for how to make a move easier or more difficult. He was also always sure to give repeat instructions on when to inhale vs exhale: the thing I found most difficult. Plus, he complimented me at the end of the class, and yes, flattery will get you everywhere with me. I'm planning on purchasing a package dealio in the future and looking forward to repeat visits to Yoga Samadhi. Most of the teachers have been there a while with professional experience and a love of art with patience which promotes creativity at reasonable prices. I'm grateful for their flexibility because when the rain caused a delay it was really good of them to offer my daughter a shared private lesson where she was able to connect with another young person who shared her interests in art. That was really amazing to witness two young people on the same artistic wavelength getting lost in their lesson. My daughter plans to return and we recommend this place to anyone who has a child who loves arts.

I have gone to various yoga studios around Atlanta through the past three years, and this is the best studio yet! I love the space--the yoga room is beautiful and spacious, and the retail and lobby area is light and well-planned to handle classes coming and going at the same time. The energy is wonderful! I am pleased that the yoga room is heated but not oppressively hot, so the workout is a perfect balance of heat and flow! The teachers are excellent, and very friendly--with assists during the class that are helpful. Also, with free mats and towels, a cold washcloth at the end of the workout, a beautiful locker room with showers and plenty of storage space, I feel "pampered" and that careful consideration has been given in making the yoga session the very best experience for those participating in the class. I recently moved to Atlanta and was desperately looking for a Yoga studio that embodied the tranquility, zen, cleanliness, teachings, and ambiance that I was was accustomed to in LA. Yonder Yoga has completely surpassed all expectations that I could have imagined for a yoga studio. The staff is so kind, warm, educated, and have gone above and beyond to help me feel welcome here. Brand new yoga studio on the West side of town and it is amazing! I've had a chance to take a few classes at Yonder and it is quickly becoming my favorite studio in ATL. The teachers are very energetic and welcoming and the space is wonderful. One of my favorite things about this studio is they do hands on assists to allow for deeper poses during classes and provide cold lavender scented towels for savasana. Classes are heated but not too hot where you feel like you can't breathe. Free mat rentals, Women's and Men's locker rooms with showers, and awesome retail if you are in need of new yoga clothes. Anelise is wonderful, but truly, I have gotten a lot out of every class with different instructors. Summaya is also great; she is like my yoga touchpoint. It isn't conveniently located for me (live near Decatur and Work in Midtown), but worth the extra effort to get there (on weekends). They have classes early, noon and after work. You will enter Sacred Thread from the back parking lot, which has plenty of spaces weekend mornings and weekdays, but it is more challenging to park weekend afternoons and after work.

PARKING If you are coming onto Cain Hills Place from East Andrews, look for the business center on the left and then the alley way to the right of the store front (narrow steep drive). Active Sol Yoga is located in Buckhead on Bennett Street, which is right off Peachtree St. If you were familiar with Frank Ski's Restaurant & Lounge, then that's the street you turn in on to get there. Otherwise, you might easily pass the street since the street sign is a bit obscured. Once you turn onto Bennett, you drive almost all the way to the end of the street but take a left onto short street and the studio is located at the building at the top of the street. Hope that makes sense. I do like that it's away from the hustle & bustle of Peachtree Street. Upon arriving you'll see some benches on the right, a window (checking in) to the left and then an open area with cubbies to put your things in, apparel for sale and a clean restroom. They have too big, open studios with lots of natural light. Always a plus! Krishaunda lead our session. She started us with Vinyasa flow and ended our last 20 minutes with Restorative yoga. She was very nice. And I liked that she went around the class and helped to guide us into positions correctly. I was (& still am) pretty relaxed. Honestly could've stayed in shavasana pose for 15 more minutes. Or an hour or so. Lol.

All of the instructors are fabulous, but I particularly love Katie and Yochai's classes. The atmosphere is very nonjudgmental and there is a great variety in classes. The best part is enjoying a piece of chocolate after class! Plus parking is never an issue. Thank you Active Sol!
