These sliced pickled cucumbers are placed on the table after you place your order.

Came here on the recommendation of local friends. This is a great spot for Asian food or sushi. Our waitress was quick and friendly. While waiting for our meals we watched the person behind the plexiglass making sushi. Several tables and booths around the smallish dining area. Hubby started with a spring roll and then enjoyed his Kung Pow and fried rice. I ordered shrimp and veggies with fried rice. This is a very flavorful dish.

Always good food and great service. Miss the Sunday buffet, but understand the pressures of staffing and food cost. Good sushi choices and plenty of different entrees to choose, although I find myself often going for the basic Thai Pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. If you do go for that make sure to ask for duck sauce and hot mustard to elevate this dish.

Fish -- very tasty and authentic. Lots of grouper bites-easy to share

Tried again as we had a good experience before. This time the quality was outstanding --very authentic and fresh. Will have it in the rotation on a biweekly basis--it was that good and good value too. And service from the host to the server was prompt and friendly.

Started really well with crab ragoons. They are not the lightweight version but a stout rendition. The filling was so good I had to double check it was imitation not real crab. There was a good wait until our orders came but not enough to complain. My wife had the General Tso's chicken. Very well done with a light brown sauce with only a hint of spicy. I really enjoy a spice that almost makes you rethink your life choices. The breading was light and delicious. My Kiss of fire sushi roll was well made and extremely tasty. It was missing the heat I expected but still amazing. We opted to try the fried bananas for a new desert, from all appearances it was going to be delicious but my wife and I found the texture of the bananas made it unpalatable. The flavors of all the parts were great but not to our tastes. The breading was amazing and chocolate was great. Overall we will be back to try more sushi.

Kids meal prices at 8.99 and $1 extra if the they are over 11. They however refuse to give the kids the drink.

The policy is not upheld. Went with my kids on different occasions and the policy around kids meal keeps changing. The food is okay but the service can be iffy.

Cucumbers and Carrots - minus the cucumbers, we ate those too fast.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to eat in Gray. They have all sorts of asian specialties and they serve sushi. What I really enjoy about this place is that they remember that I have a shellfish allergy and when I order my food they tell me that they will make sure the chef uses a different pan for my food. I feel secure eating here because I know they take my food allergy as serious as I do. Tonight I dined with my sister and mother, and this was the first time we've dined in here since covid hit last year. We've done take out but the dine in portion has been closed until this week. If you love asian cuisine, this is a great place to eat. The service is great and the food is awesome.

Great food AND service. Been going there for many years and never do. The sesame chicken is the best in the area.

The restaurant was not busy at this time - a few patrons at the bar and a few tables occupied. We were sat, greeted and served quickly. Upstairs featured seating near floor to ceiling windows which created a fun ambiance. There were a lot of wooden details in the decor that really made the place pop and feel more fun. The food was good. I really enjoyed the fish tacos and all the flavors in the toppings. It was also nice to see salmon tacos versus a fried white fish or tilapia. The house made queso is good goooood!! My daughter and I really enjoyed it. Their menu was so big between Asian and Mexican dishes it was a bit overwhelming. I think I would try another restaurant if in the area again but I lived close by I would probably come again.

Over the past several years I have only ordered takeout and I am never disappointed. The food is always hot and fresh and prepared exactly as I ask. There is one dish I order with a modification and they haven't gotten it wrong in 30 years. The primary reason I keep returning is taste. I often find that Chinese restaurant food has an unusual taste that I do not like. The food at Shanghai does not have this taste. Taste, freshness, order accuracy, family atmosphere and friendliness has kept me coming back for 30 years.

They had a large outdoor seating area set up just for the festival, but normally it isn't there. We went and sat down and on every table there was a QR code where you could order right from the table kind of similar to some of the restaurants I've been to in Chinatown in Philadelphia. We had started to order when a waitress came to try and take our order. I believe she was just family helping out so some of our message got lost in translation. She brought my drink and then some 10 minutes later brought besties's tea after we tracked her down. They had typical Chinese restaurant fair on the menu. The restaurant wasn't super busy when we got there. There weren't a lot of people seated outside. It appeared. They had only three people running food and taking orders. A fair amount of gas did show up after us and probably got their food. We had to track somebody down as there was some delay in them actually pulling our ticket to go make our food after we had ordered via the QR code of the table. This was a bit disappointing. I can only chalk it up to having inexperienced help during the festival. When ordering on the app, you can make modifications to just about any dish. Bestie did order something called ants on a log - it was a vermicelli rice noodle dish. Came out completely wrong without any of the extra she ordered. I ordered a simple chicken and broccoli. Chicken had an odd texture and Bestie's dish had chicken too and she thought it was a little odd as well. She did get a new order made when we saw her order was wrong. We brought it to one of the waiters's attention and they made her a fresh order and that came out very quickly. Which we did appreciate. We were served on paper plates, which I can only assume was for the festival. There was live music playing in the front room of the restaurant which could be heard throughout. It wasn't super loud so we could have a conversation. The food tasted OK. It wasn't anything to rave about. Prices were very reasonable.
