I ordered the hamachi kama and was told it would take about 20 minutes to bake, which I was completely fine with. However, after waiting... and waiting... and watching my entire family finish their meals, we were then told my order had been messed up because the restaurant got backed up and busy and would take another 10-15 minutes. At that point, nearly everyone was done eating, so I asked for my meal to be boxed to-go. We spoke with a manager, Chris, who apologized and told us the meal would be comped--which felt like an appropriate resolution given the situation. But after sitting there for almost TWO HOURS total, my husband and son went to follow up, only to be told that my order had been completely canceled. The reasoning? That they "weren't going to comp something and let you walk out with free food." That response was honestly shocking. I never asked for anything extra--just the meal I ordered, even if it had to be to-go at that point. Instead, I left without eating at all. The lack of communication, the excessive wait, and the way the situation was handled at the end completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory night. Really disappointing experience. We didn't even want to order the desserts we planned on ordering because at that point, they didn't deserve another dollar. The environment would've been enjoyable if we weren't focused on food missing and the lack of customer service.

Don't get me wrong, you can't compare it to Los Angeles, Atlanta or any other big city with a large Asian population, but at least you can get some fresh Asian vegetables and they are fresh! They also carry frozen. It's a small store but can fulfill most needs. The owners are very sweet people who do everything to help you get what you need including taking special orders. Lovely to do business with them.
