The section 9 of the contract gives client the ability to terminate the agreement with Tonchu if moving outside of 25 mile radius, which my offer letter outside of the state completely did. We have done just that. My husband has a new job that require us to relocate and also to attend to family health issues in another state. We provided proof of this via offer letter and was told that we had to provide proof that our child completed a school program in the area and they that are enrolled in a new program in our new state. None of this is required from the contract nor outlined their. They intend to continue to charge us for services they are not providing. They are awful and I will discourage anyone I know in this area from using them.

I'm 61 and just earned my Wing Chun purple sash ranking, and am in great health from the motivation the Welch program provides. I also take JKD, Kali, Martial fitness and Tai Chi. I choose not to experience the frailty and weakness a large portion of American elderly people sadly experience in their senior years. The learning is fun and fellow students are safe and focused upon mutual progress and respect for one another. A GREAT "family" student body. The expert styles taught here are just what Bruce Lee had intended to see with Sifu Sule's shared philosophy. My partner trains with me regularly here. She and I grow closer through every challenge and accomplishment we get from Sifu Sule. This studio is among the best which brings forth the best of us training here! Avery Cotton

I've grown up with a lot of martial arts in my life. Judo and shotokan were my first two systems…read moretaught from father to my brother and me from kindergarten before studying a few other systems as a teenager. From all my training, I have seen many kinds of teaching, but two systems have stood out; one is our system here and the other was a very traditional southern kung fu kwoon. For me, the traditional path is best. These systems of martial arts were developed over centuries. In a world of sports fighting, we often forget the "martial" aspect. These systems were developed by oppressed people for self defense from outsiders who had conquered their lands with large militaries, like Okinawa. The systems in the dojo blend beautifully together. Both systems extend from Okinawa over hundreds of years. These systems were developed from roots that existed before our country. The techniques have been tested across sundry generations. They work. The system is also developed to teach martial skills - the ability to defend yourself - without the need for you to hurt yourself sparring with lots of people. The systems work. Come try out the dojo. Moeller Sensei will introduce you to everyone. It's a welcoming environment for everyone, no judgment. If you're looking for a Cobra Kai kind of dojo (great series on Netflix) then this is NOT it. This is about thoughtful development of skills that meet your abilities and then the work to increase those abilities. It's excellent. You will develop. You will progress, and progression is earned on merit. There are no testing fees or anything like this. Moeller Sensei does not run the school to make money; he has a full time job. Moeller Sensei runs the school for his love of sharing two traditional systems of karate. Come join us for a class.

The kids classes are energized and playful, with a strong sense of respect for one's teammates and learning. I'm deeply impressed with Sensei's care of every single student that's ever trained here, whether it was for 2 months or 20 years. Many parents have said they see an incredible kindness in our dojo not found in others they've practiced at. I would say Sensei Moeller embodies what it truly means to be a martial artist. His teaching style provides a very practical and fundamental way for each student to find the ability to achieve the same for themselves.  Sensei welcomes new students try a class or two before joining. Normal workout clothes are fine. We have students that range in age from 5 years old to 81.

I was primarily looking for a school that addressed three things that other Atlanta schools can't provide: 1) a diversified experience with multiple disciplines, 2) an actual curriculum that would provide structure to the various lessons, and a path to future belt tests, and 3) some sort of supplemental training that would reinforce what is taught in the dojo. I joined Evolution X and while I have not been a student for very long, it provides all of these things and more: several different martial arts disciplines; a calendar and curriculum that indicates what will be taught, and when (and when it will be repeated in the future); and a super helpful library of online training resources that covers every lesson as you advance through the belts. From a teaching and training perspective, this is a very well-managed school. On top of this, I've found that the other students are helpful and supportive - and respectful of new students (myself included) - making the experience a positive one. Net net: Josh Moree runs a top-notch school for kids and adults alike, and if you are looking to learn about multiple disciplines for comprehensive martial arts training, Evolution X delivers!

I would love to train regularly with Sensei Moree but live in Roswell so doing the drive regularly would be difficult. I come from a different background in martial arts (Yoshukai), so most of the things I was exposed to during the seminars were new to me. Sensei Moree and the other students were extremely helpful and patient with me. They made me feel very welcome, which is not always the case when visiting different styles of martial arts schools. He is a great teacher and explains techniques very well. AKJ incorporates different styles/disciplines in the training- which I think is excellent. If you are considering starting training in martial arts, I highly recommend AKJ. I am confident in saying you won't regret the decision. Osu!
