It's a bagel breakfast sandwich. It was good. I was able to pick up my order quickly and be on my way to work. No complaints

Amazing bagel! Just like NJ. Amazing pork roll with egg cheese. The bagel is soft but crispy on the outside

The Bagel Baker may always look busy. This is because they are so good. Fresh bagels I usually go for lunch. The sandwiches are amazing. I get a different sandwich every time I go and have never been disappointed lately. I always asked to cut mine in half. My husband will get a different sandwich and get his cut in half . Then we can try 2 different sandwiches. We got the Manhattan and the Chelsea. Both very different but both EXCELLENT!!!! They both have bacon on them, and the bacon was perfect. Both very flavorful and fresh.. staff very nice and fast too for a fresh sandwich made to order

Great service, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone, and placed my order for a toasted plain bagel with extra cream cheese quickly. The menu was big, and I got anxious being the only person and ordered what I knew. It makes for a good base of how good everything else would be though. My food came out soon after, and I left to go enjoy my food at home (15 minutes). It felt warm when I got it, but by the time I sat down to eat it was cold. It wasn't like it had been too long from when I got it to then, so I don't know what happened. The bagel itself is dense and chewy, kinda like what I had suspected from the photos. It's like Panera you could say, which was a little sad for me. I like my bagels more airy and not as chewy. The flavor of the bagel was nice, I just was hoping for something amazing I guess. The cream cheese is also good quality, probably could've done with more of it. (I'm in love with cream cheese) Overall, just a cute average lil bagel shop.

The pizza was legit, especially with the extra cheese. Great Neck is finally getting some better pizza spots.

Hard to find a NY-style bagels in the area! But this place might be a winner. Plenty of indoor sitting and even two kiosks aside from the regular counter. Stopped by earlier this morning after the rush & picked up a BB on Broadway (bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown) as well as a blueberry yogurt muffin. While a little pricey, the bagel was chewy and fresh. And gosh, the muffin was incredibly yummy! I'll have to give the other breakfast sandwiches a try.

A mad search for New York Style Bagel Bakeries before my son & grandson arrived led me back to this location where my family came in the late '80s. When I walked in it looked completely different. That's because it was. I'm not sure what happened to the old store since it had been decades since I had frequented the bagel shop. This bakery was exactly what I was looking for. They boil then bake their bagels preservative free. It brought back memories of a Bagel Bakery in Atlanta I frequented in the early '70s that actually had the boiling vat in view. The Bakery was decorated really awesome on the outside & inside with sidewalk seating available in addition to the dining area. A separate door was provided for takeout or online orders. I joined the rope line to place my order so I could peruse the menu on the wall. The line featured a long picturesque scene of New York. The inside dining area walls were also New York cityscape scenes. How awesome!! The restaurant was clean & very popular. Takeout orders were placed in bags awaiting pickup. There were many. Breakfast sandwich choices looked spectacular & were all New York themed. But my quest was for the type of single bagels that my family eat for breakfast. My purchase was Sesame Seed & Cinnamon Raisin. I wanted to peruse the cream cheese choices. But there was a line behind me & I was operating on short time. Reading the background of the owners I learned they were a couple from New Jersey who founded the bakery in 2012. They have a food truck & also have plans to open a delicatessen in the space previously occupied by 58 Deli Diner. My son & grandson said their Sesame & Cinnamon Raisin Bagels were good. And my son perused their Breakfast & Brunch Bagel Sandwich Menu. The location is in the shopping center on the southeast side of the intersection of Mill Dam Road with N Great Neck Road. Coming from Shore Drive driving south there's easy entrance by a left turn on Mill Dam & and immediate right into the shopping center. I will definitely return, maybe even breaking my diet & choosing a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich.

The Bagel Baker is the first place I visit when I come home from college. I've tried many Bagel shops in my college town, and nothing ever comes close to Bagel Baker's bagels and coffee! The owner is so sweet. I also bought a 1/2 dozen to bring back to college with me.

I was so excited to try after seeing so many good reviews but it wasn't really anything special or maybe i'm not the target audience. Definitely don't recommend the sausage if you pick a bagel sandwich! The iced coffee was okay too. I think the bagels with just cream cheese would've been fine too. There was just something about both sandwiches that had an aftertaste. Aside from that, the staff is very friendly! They made it very smooth and convenient.

I…read moredo work around this area and had been curious about Yorkie's for a while; about a month ago I had the opportunity to stop in. It's kind of like Taste in that it's like a Hip And Trendy Sandwich Spot - the staff is mostly perky, cool, and very competent college students - and the prices are about on par with Taste as well, but for what you get here, it's probably double the value of what you can get there. I got their tuna melt, which stuck with me for long enough that it had me craving another sandwich like that when I was in the area again. So today I was in the area again and I brought a friend, who also got the tuna melt and loved it. The thing about that sandwich is that they probably put about a half pound of bluefin tuna salad on it, and it's not mayo or filler-heavy. It's very tuna-forward, which is a plus to me. This time I got the Kevin's Bday, which was turkey, bacon, cheese, LT with this amazing garlicky green onion aioli, because honestly I was like, "Well, the tuna melt was really good. But what about just a Normal Ass Sandwich??" Both those sandwiches come on thick toasted (I think potato?) sandwich bread and my god it was all SO delicious. Again, the portion was enough for two meals, and it was just a turkey sandwich! The turkey was super succulent too. One small detail i really appreciated was that I believe they cut their tomatoes on the slicer as well; they're incredibly thin, and they add a lot to the sandwich without overpowering it. Also their tots are unreal. Sorry for rambling. I'm very passionate about sandwiches apparently. All I'm saying is that if you're at the oceanfront and you're trying to pick a sandwich place, it should be this one.

It was definitely busy during the lunch rush, but worth the wait. The dish was so good! The lemon zest really brightened everything up and kept it from feeling too heavy despite the Caesar dressing, tots, and fried chicken. It added a depth of flavor I wasn't expecting and absolutely loved. At $18 (+ an additional $2 for a can of diet coke), it's a little pricey IMHO, but I'd order it again without hesitation because it's that good. Yorkie's is such a cute spot, the staff was friendly, and while parking can be a bit sparse around lunchtime, it's worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

We don't mind that at all (sometimes you get better service!). BUT, when we walked to the bar, there was only one seat. We started to leave and let the host know there wasn't room. No big deal, we could try somewhere else. Immediately he pulled out 2 menus and had seating. He was holding out on a 4 top. Alrighty then. Note - the place cleared out pretty fast and only 1 table of 2 was seated after us. This is a very small place and only 2 servers were working. They were a bit in the weeds when we were first sat, but as tables cleared out they recovered. Our server was very polite and as he recovered from the rush, he became more attentive. Standard steakhouse menu here, though a little on the pricier side. I started with a wedge salad (no egg) and hubby had the Caesar. I was a little put off that you have to order and are charged $1 per person for bread. We ordered it, but only got 2 rolls total. You'd think by charging for it, they would keep it coming. But alas, no. The wedge was a perfect size to start (for the price though, I would have expected a larger size). Lots of yummy blue cheese crumbles, though the house made dressing itself lacked much blue cheese flavor. Hubby said his half Ceasar was pretty standard. I ordered a filet, mid-rare and hubby had the strip, rare. Unfortunately, my filet was very rare and the strip came out mid-rare bordering on medium. Not sure if the orders got mixed up, or the kitchen was struggling to get the correct temps. It was OK for us (we just switched plates), but might not be for other diners. What was really really good was my loaded baked potato! Super fluffy and definitely loaded. All in all, not a bad experience at all. Just not very memorable. If we're in the area again and craving steak, we might stop in again.

I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos.
