Cannot express enough how much I recommend not bringing your vehicle to their service department. Only 1 star because I couldn't put zero. In total it took 4 months to get my vehicle back after dropping it off. Originally went here instead of Tom O'Brian because they said they could look at it right away... ended up taking 3 or 4 days before they even looked at it. That was indicative of how the rest of the experience would go. Multiple instances of diagnosing, completing the work, that not fixing the issue, and needing to do something else. Conveniently every part needed was on back order. During the final repair, what was quoted as a 4 hour job took an entire week (with daily phone calls asking what the hold up was). Cherry on top was them attempting to charge approximately $1500 more than they quoted. If a mechanic ever tells you the repair is a dealer only fix, look elsewhere. read more

Bought a used car from them. Had trouble with it beginning the day after we bought it. The service department was dishonest. They did not perform the service they charged us for. The car ended up having a bad head gasket. The dealership agreed to buy the car back from us. Gave us less than 50% of what we paid for it 3 weeks earlier. Terrible experience. Only because it couldn't be ZERO! I took my Jeep in for a pre diagnosed ABS module(from an actual reputable shop who deemed it dealer only). It was kept a FULL day post-scheduled appointment before it was "diagnosed". The diagnosis was an ABS module that was already pre-diagnosed, plus another $800 in "leaky" wheel seals that were found after they told us the part was back ordered for as much as 4 months. No biggie, have warranty, will fix. Service writer says all needed repairs were "authorized" by warranty company so just the $100 deductible. OK, fix wheel seals and we will return in the "1-2 weeks" for the ABS module that was put on a "priority rush". 2.5 MONTHS later, we happen to call back since there was ZERO commo from the service department. They have the part! YAY us! Schedule appointment for next day, drop off zero dark early,(but now they have to call warranty company for approval again and another deductible on the previous "pre approved" work), call mid day, no return call! call next day, oh haven't looked yet, sick employee, no one touched it day 1, day 2 it's scheduled to be looked at and started, but may be 2 more days to complete, this is a plug and program part, 4 screws, a 10mm bolt, and a plug to remove. same 10mm, new 4 screws, and a bunch of pre-lubed rubber washers to replace. Then a 5 minute drive following the scanner directions! But 3 DAYS minimum? A cleanup guy could change the part, put a tech on the scanner? This place might as well be the former Westgate CDJ/Ram it up your A..! Only reason I went there was they assured me that the prior THIEVES were no longer in the service department! Nope, they replaced them with new ones! Important notes: work was previously approved and deductible paid on the prior "unnecessary service" ticket, back ordered part "comes in", no commo from service department, schedule "service" for day 1, only to be told day 2 "sick employees", will look at day 2, but may take up to 2 MORE days to complete job! Ladies and Gents, I am pissed, but this is a true reflection of my experience with this new to me Stealership. Anytime you think about using them when your reliable service company says "dealer only", think again please! Your wallet and peice of mind will thank you! After review, I forgot to add, previous service writer, bailed from this place, so add that to your brain, as I guess there is also ZERO continuity if an employee leaves. I am purchasing my car from another business, but they have failed to fix the motor properly a total of 6 times. So Westgate is doing a full inspection for me to ensure that everything has been put back together properly. After dealing with so much unprofessionalism in the other repair shop, it was extremely nice to deal with Westgate today. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The mechanic that helped me had my cars system pulled up on his tablet as I approached him and dove right in to problem solving with me. He moved through the entire process quickly. Yet, he did so without making me feel rushed. He immediately confirmed a few of my concerns. I was there no more than 20 minutes, tops. The mechanic apologized that I would have to wait about 5 minutes for the man to return who would drive me home. But he pulled in as my son and I were walking out the doors. The driver was such a sweet, older gentleman that knew the area well. He even taught me a few short cuts. The issues then came when it was time to pick up my vehicle. When my husband arrived to pick up my car for me, they wouldn't allow him to have the car until the bill was paid. Oak Motors was responsible for the bill and had even already confirmed with the service manager that they would be picking up the tab, earlier that morning. Of course Ray at Oak Motors took his sweet time getting back to Chrysler with payment information, while my husband got to stand there and wait...after already working all day and wanting to get home. Ray finally calls back in with payment info and he and Chryslers service manager start chumming it up on the phone with "Buddy" this and "buddy" that. My husband disagreed with my initial feelings that they were staying impartial in the whole matter. He said he was treated rudely, especially when he insisted on taking my car and not leaving it there until they got in the missing parts that Oak Motors has failed to replace. Hubby told them that I've been without my car enough, and since my car was fine to still drive (just missing over $100 worth of bolts, gaskets, Etc), to call him when the parts came in and we'd bring it back in. He gets home, finally, and we're looking at the paperwork and discover my car has an active recall on the restraint controller...meaning in an accident, my airbags may not deploy and seat belt tensioners may not work. Nice. No one even said a word about it. A month goes by of us trying to get our contact at Oak Motors to return our calls about getting the car finished. Finally we get a call, after I do an updated review, and we're told Westgate dropped the ball and never even ordered parts. A few days later, today, I get an automated call saying my parts are in. I've called 3 times now...I'm currently on call 3, stiiiiiiill holding...and my call continues to get disconnected as I wait. Yet every time I'm transferred to parts, I'm asked to hold. I don't want the car going in until they have the replacement parts to repair the recall as well. Oh! I finally get an answer...they have the recall part and he transfers me to someone to schedule the appointment, and this guy can't find me anywhere in the system, altho someone literally just pulled me up less than 10 minutes before. I finally get frustrated and hang up. Forget it. I'm so tired of wasting so much time on this car. Getting this car dealt with is nightmare, no matter where I go. Either the car is cursed or this is just a true testament of what a nightmare it's like for a woman to get proper service done on her car. I was lied to. I had to wait a whole month because that's when they said the appointment was. We bought a 2006 dakota from them, since our go to Tom obrien didn't have any, back in 2012. Since purchasing the vehicle with 21k on it we have had nothing but issues from the vehicle and service. When we bought the truck we got a good deal, but asked if this truck was personal, company, or fleet owned. They informed us it was a fleet vehicle. I asked if it was from enterprise, enterprise takes excellent care of their cars, the sales guy told us it was. Well we purchased the truck with 21k and a month in we developed a loud clunk from the front end. I told them it sounded like ball joints, but after a month in service they diagnosed it as a bad shock mount, and cv axle. We paid the deductible and had it fixed. When we got the truck back it still made the noise so we took it back. After having the truck for another week they then diagnosed it as a bad engine mount, and again I doubted, but they are the experts. After getting the truck back again the noise was still present so we took it to our dealership in greenwood who diagnosed bad ball joints and solved the issue. After about 6 months my CEL light came on and again back to the original dealership. They again had the truck about a month and replaced most of the sensors, the intake manifold, and the throttle body. This time I paid 3 deductibles as a few items were covered under a different contract. Again when I got the vehicle back the CEL light came on a day later and again I took it back to my dealership whi diagnosed it with a bad Cat and O2 sensors, they fixed it. The third time we took it in, about 1.5 years after purchase, we went for our last free oil change. We requested a synthetic oil and specific filter, which we agreed to pay for. During this service my passenger door was dented and the oil we paid for wasn't used. When we confronted the service manager he denied responsibility and then said it is just a hazard of service. At this point we stopped having service with them. About 3 years and 60,000 miles after purchase we were still having issues with the vehicle, this time the transmission was slipping and throwing a code. We took the car to tom obrien, but went to ask the dealership about the vehicles history. The person who helped us, informed us it was a city truck from michigan, not a fleet car like originally told. He also informes us it sat on there lot for months before purchase due to mechanical issues. Fast forward to 1 year ago and our uncle bought a dodge ram from them. He is now having issues with the truck and service, he also said he feels like the salesman was not upfront or honest with him. All in all I learned my lesson that if it works, don't change it (in terms of dealerships). I hope they have changed their ways of selling and servicing vehicles and hope their master techs aren't still demeaning. Just beware on your next purchase. read more

Temp plates are expired and they still haven't sent title paperwork and cannot get a call back. Salesman was Jim Lowe and he literally didn't know who we were the very next day. Went here multiple times to look at trucks finally found one with what would've been a decent price if it wasn't beat to crap. So they had a different truck went to check it out same thing was beat to crap and they didn't show the damage so start checking out another vehicle then they ran us out because they were closing at 6 pm. So went back up there the next day to test drive it and get some numbers on it while we were there went to use the restroom and it looked like no one had cleaned it since 1990. So after that they offered me the lowest price I've ever been offered for a vehicle (5,000$ below Kelly blue book) and they still wanted me to come back again mind you this was a 40 minute drive with no traffic. It's nice to walk in there and they call us by name as we walked through their doors. The service department has always been really nice and knowledgeable. Love the fast drive thru as I take my car in to get air checked and don't even have to get out. Some of the service reps know us by sight if not name. I traded in my cars for a brand new vehicle. The car was delivered brand new with multiple issues, it was documented and agreed to have it repaired. I had the worst treatment and attitude from the service department, also they weren't aware of my appointment that was schedule by the sales man who sold me the car. The car was driven for at least 12 miles, and was delivered to me very dirty. The dealer did a poor job repainting a paint issue, and the paint / clear coat started coming apart. They bring a paint guy every week where a very poor paint job is done. They wouldn't honor any warranty and offered to repaint the car following the same process. I refused and had it painted elsewhere. They agreed to pay a very small portion of the paint job cost. I am a very disappointed customer with the level of service I received from the sales and service departments. read more

Honestly if I could give it no star I would. The service department has no respect of customers time. I really hate having to do this, however, I've spent well over $5,500 at the service department and have had nothing but issues. 1st occurred some time ago, after oil change and tire rotation my car was making a very weird noise as if drive and it was extremely shaky. Luckily I knew to check the bolts on the tire because one tire was so loose I actually lost a lug nut completely. Kept it to myself didn't think it'd be an issue. 2nd was more recent, after spending $800+ on 4 new tires my rear driver tire was making a weird clicking noise as I would accelerate. Spoke with Becky, who was the only person I dealt with, she told me to just bring the car in and it'd get looked at. Pulled up and no one knew I was coming and they had no time for a technician to see me. As expected I was upset, left and had to return for the mechanic to look at it about 7 minutes and it was fixed (another simple thing that the department looked over). 3rd time I was in there for oil and a check engine light - diagnosis was $2,200+ dollars and I said go ahead and complete the work. I received a call from Becky that my car was ready I asked her to PLEASE have them double check everything I don't want to have to make any unnecessary trips to them again, she sighed as if I was an annoyance and said "yea I sure will". After picking up the car my front driver side tire was doing the same as the previous loose tire shaking terribly and creeking as I'd turn left. Sure enough all bolts loose. Livid, called Becky who told me to come in right after work arrived and AGAIN the team had no idea I was coming and no time for a mechanic to look at the car, but they did tighten the bolts because the car didn't shake near as bad. After having enough spoke w doug who offered a free front end alignment (a $110 service) I said thank you and we made an APPOINTMENT for 8am. He explained my car wouldn't be the first on but it'd be about 4 hours - I was fine with that. Dropped the vehicle off with Dave who that morning stated it'd be done late morning/ early afternoon. At 11:30 I spoke to Dave who stated it'd be a few more hours before the car even got on the lift. Spoke to Doug who said if it's not done by 4:30 he'd get me into a loaner. I appreciated that. It's now 4:20 and I've got to wait another 35 minutes and after asking for a loaner for plans he told me "it'd take me the 10 minutes you've got to get a loaner" 0/10 for me will never return nor recommend read more

I purchased a second Chrystler 300 back in September. I traded my 2012 for a 2015. I paid for window tint, spoiler and splash guards that had to be ordered. Within a week there were issue with the vehicle (rattle in the door and broken window shade). I took the car back to have the extras put on and other issue taken care of 3 times. It is now 7 months later the door still rattles, window shade does not work properly and the splash guards have still not arrived. Multiple attempt to get these thing taken care of with little to no resolution. I would expect as a returned customer to have a better experience. Beyond disappointed with the timeliness and thoroughness of the sales staff I directly worked with for purchasing a lease. There were many occasions that the loan officers from my bank had to send back the bill of sale because the information was incorrect (even the wrong vehicle was listed!). It has taken over a month. This caused not only my loan to purchase the vehicle to expire but also depreciate the vehicle- creating another loan inquiry with our loan officers and underwriters at the bank. Westgate took a month to repair our Jeep Liberty after an accident. To their credit, they did spent some of that time dealing with the insurance company. However, the first time they returned the Jeep to us the right rear tire was severely bent. No one bothered to check it even though in the accident that wheel flew off and rolled down the road. When we picked up the Jeep again two weeks later, I didn't drive 300 yards before running out of gas. Literally less than 300 yards. The service tech tried to blame it on a faulty gas guage even though the gauge did in fact say E. Either he was trying to lie to my face or he really couldn't read a gas gauge. Who returns a car to a customer so empty of gas that they can't even get to the gas station half a mile away. Bottom line: poor workmanship, questionable integrity. I will NEVER take a car to Westgate again for any reason. read more

Second he started in on all the car sales gimmicks that I can't stand. I know them all 45 + years growing up with a father who owned his own car lot. More than Eric's 30 years. Told me I would have to bring my car back tomorrow because the part needed ordered. Returned today and reminded them I purchased the extended service contract. Magically the part no longer needed replaced. A simple brake job would fix my problem. Should have went with my gut and just went to Midas in the first place.
