Within minutes of arriving in Yosemite, my nose led me to this majestic pie place. I'm not the biggest fan of fruit pies, but I was interested in trying out the peach pie... and boy, I don't think I'll ever have a pie that will top that for the rest of my life. I arrived minutes before they closed and didn't want to be one of those straggling customers, but the woman who warmly greeted me made me feel at ease. She didn't rush me, and she walked me through what options were left at that hour. She was incredibly kind. Where else can you get that kind of great customer service! She was very genuine and had great energy! All of that great energy you can tell is put into her pies with love. My honey and I tried pecan pie! Omg!!! Absolutely delicious! Soooo tasty! Not too sweet, the perfect sweetness and texture, great flavor and consistency so much so that it never made it home lol I also got a slice of the triple berry peach which was good as well! Walk in for the heavenly aroma of the holidays! This place many be small with limited hours, but it is not short on friendly service nor pie selection of pies! You can get pie by the slice, mini pies, whole pies, cookies, ice cream. They make the pies fresh right there! We asked the employee which was her favorite-- apple pie, so we got that and it drive home 3.5 hours with us before we enjoyed it with ice cream--- superbly delicious!! Visually traditional, smelled amazing, perfectly golden flaky crust, and scrumptiously cinnamon sweet apple filling. What a treat! Its in a plaza with a Vons so plenty of parking. read more

Yosemite Pie Company has been in business since the new year and doing great! I went in Friday before Easter and they were sold out. They did have some individual bags of "Grandma Kipp's chocolate chip cookies" (2 in a package) which I bought and went home. When we finally got into these cookies we all looked at each other rolling our eyes and said in unison, OMG these are amazing! We went back today and to our delight there were pies. We purchased a Apple Crumb Pie. We ate dinner quickly just so we could have dessert. The first thing you notice is this delicious aroma of apple pie. Next, you notice the thick crust and crumble topping. As I cut into pie, it was thick and soft (my favorite) and apples stayed in place. I hate it when all the filling falls off the crust. We were advised to heat a slice and add some vanilla ice cream which we did. Me personally I like my pie room temperature and what I realized is there is no wrong way to eat this pie. First bite was heaven. I laughed at myself for cutting such a small slice and promised myself tomorrow's slice will definitely be bigger! YPC has whole pies and slices. They have mini pies and other baked goods. They have your year-round flavors; Apple, Blueberry, Mountain Berry, Raspberry and Triple Berry. Seasonal flavors are Cherry and Peach. Everything is made with wholesome quality ingredients not to mention love and butter. I think that just might be their secret ingredient because pastries made this good in my opinion are made with love which makes everything you bake delicious. Pies are about $30 and worth every penny. Now if you think that's too much money and can buy a Mrs Smith's at Vons for $10 just remember this... you're getting a store bought frozen pie that tastes like a $10 pie. For me, I'm happy to pay more for quality and taste and get something you can't wait to eat again or serve my family and friends than a store bought pie that says I didn't have time or care enough to give you the best. I say this often but it holds true...you get what you pay for and Yosemite Pie Company is the real deal! read more

I started seeing popup ads in Facebook after booking our trip to yosemite. We LOVE a good pie. It was our last stop before entering yosemite. We choose the berry pie. Taylor greeted us with a warm smile. She and her husband do all of the baking. For several days while on our trip we enjoyed the berry pie. EVERY SINGLE BITE! when it was time to head home, my husband suggested i ordered a peach pie with crumble too. Taylor said, I have one in the oven, and can pick it up in an hour. We did! It smelled so delicious, that cinnamon smell throughout the car. After a long drive, we finally enjoyed the peach pie! It was delicious alone. But warmed, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, double delicious. Not kidding! This pie is better that 5-star! A small family business working hard to share the sweetness and love for pies! read more

We stopped in for two slices of boysenberry pie with scoops of vanilla ice cream--and it was so good we bought an entire triple berry pie as a gift for family! The pies are freshly made (baked daily), and taste just about as homemade as you can get! There are even a few bistro tables out front where you can enjoy your slice on the spot. The shop is owned by a wonderful local couple (sweet, just like their pies) with friendly service. The experience was a perfect small-town treat! Plus they're located right next to Vons, so it was super convenient to stop by after grocery shopping. One of the best pie I've had in the US. It is owned by a lovely couple that opened shop 7 months ago. They bake various pies fresh daily. If you travel far and would like to bring some home, order ahead so they can prepare a frozen unbaked pie. They will include baking instructions. No need to thaw just bake from frozen. I tried both the blackberry and blueberry pies. So deliciously good. Highly recommended!! read more

We popped in and purchased a whole blackberry crumb pie. The shop smelled devine. Oh my goodness, thankful for a space like this to be able to provide a beautifully, delicious, homemade pie for our fam. So glad we passed this shop on our way to do our normal grocery shopping- bc this was the surprise dessert we were not expecting to eat tonight. The pie was not too sweet, great blackberry fruit/filling consistency, perfect handmade crust. It did not disappoint.
