I left the gym two years ago and Youfit did not stop my membership instead they kept charging my account without my knowledge and now they sent it to collections. The manager of the gym would not help me and over tem phone calls to the the corporate office went unanswered and no return phone calls. I'm not having a good experience there after signing up for personal training for six months. Things started off OK but went downhill with the trainer continuously becoming distracted, taking personal phone calls, and walking away for whatever reason constantly during my sessions. When you attempt to reach management there's not usually anybody available for days and they don't seem to be paying attention or care what's going on with clients. Stay away! *** DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM Let me start by saying this is my first time joining a gym. This particular gym is located next to our church in Boynton Beach. A bunch of us from a ladies group decided we would sign up. It started with me letting them know I would like to have a few lessons with a trainer just to be familiar with machines. I asked for 4 sessions as I only wanted to be familiar with gym. I took only 2 lessons as I was unhappy with instructor. They placed me randomly with any trainer and she didn't even do an assessment as to know what your goal was. My surprise came when I let manager Michael know I will not be needing the last 2 lessons; the surprise was him saying they signed me up for 6 months for $960. Michael said they sent an email in which I had 3 days to cancel. Problem is that there were no emails. I asked for proof it was sent and was told they don't save emails. Then I was told the person who helped me no longer worked there. I did not want a bill collector, or anything to affect my credit so I felt I had no choice but to pay. I followed their policy of cancelling and that was another disappointment. When I cancelled the agreement on 6/17/25 and they should have charged me only 50% of the remainder as the contract says, but they charged me the full amount. When checking this past week 10/6/25 I talked with Elizabeth at front desk to be informed they had signed me up for yet another 6 months They just keep taking payments out. We have no choice but to file in smalls claim court and allow them to produce proof of emails sent. This has been a huge financial burden on me. I would like to warn anyone doing business with this company needs to be careful, they are not a company with integrity or staff that are no more than a sales team collecting commissions. The people that work the gym in Boynton are great BUT THE CORPORATE OFFICE, that actually run the business are thieves. I downgraded my membership and they charged me $10 to do that. Then, I canceled my membership and they charged me the yearly fee of $53 and one more month of membership fee!!!!! This gym is located in the Boynton Mall, which is good in its own way as if you want a workout after shopping or eating in the food court! Only thing is, no entry way within the mall, only one way entry/exit is outside near the church. This is a smaller location, but it does the job if you want a express circuit workout on top of other equipment available. They have a kids zone, locker rooms, energy drinks available for purchase, a stretching zone & group fitness classes available. One of the cheaper plans such as $10/month & ~$20 for multiclub & guest privileges for example! But yeah I tend to workout here since it is closer to home than Greenacres read more

Recently I had an experience beyond bad words at the YouFit in Boynton Beach. An employee frequently threatened to break my fingers, break my hands, told members to beat me up, called me a piece of shit, and finally, IN FRONT OF MEMBERS, he screamed that I am a dicksucker. This situation started with the employee talking shit to me, and my response being that it was not ok. So he did it more, then got other members to do the same. Wouldn't you think the employee should have been fired? What happened? They cancelled my membership. It happens again and again and again. There is no A/C in the Silver Sneakers exercise room. With temps at an all time high here in Florida, the last thing we need is the A/C to conk out. This happens too often and management ignores telling customers that it is broken. They leave it to use to fnd out for ourselves. When asked about the A/C, management just says, "The parts are on order." Even the instructors seem to take no notice to the rising temperatures and pretend all is well. The A/C seems to break down too often leaving seniors to exercise in the heat mor leave early. Partiipants now trade a hot exercise room for an air conditioned car. It is really a shame that there is such a frequent problem with the A/C otherwise we would be happy. read more

Like a lot of gyms unfortunately, super shady, run by shady people. I was on their "month to month" plan before covid. At some point they shut down the gym (probably required to), but yet figured they would just keep charging me even though the gym was closed. I called them and told them to cancel my membership and stop billing my card. They apologized and said they would stop (they did not refund the month they already billed while they were closed). Since I do not trust them one bit (they already pulled stunts like this when I was a member a few years ago) I also went ahead and canceled the card they had on file. A couple of months ago I started getting alerts from my card letting me know they declined a charge from YouFit. I'm guessing they have reopened and decided to start charging me again. Not only did they try charging me again, they are charging made up amounts. I use to pay around $20/mo but they are trying to hit the card for $60 and even $90 multiple times per month. Today I get a call from them claiming my account was in collections. Soooooo..... they feel its ok to bill you even though they are closed for months, they think it's ok to start charging your card even after you told them you would like your "month to month" membership canceled and then they call to harass you about sending you to collections. If you still want to do business with these people after all that just make sure you use a credit card so you can dispute/cancel it when they inevitably try to screw you over. read more

Great gym with a friendly staff. They have basically most of your essentials from free weights, machines to treadmills. This location does have daycare which is great for parents and actually affordable. There are classes available as well and personal trainers to get you started. The facility is clean and so is the bathroom. Cons would be the hours, wish they have longer weekend hours as it's 8a-8p only. Would certainly recommend this gym if you're looking, prices are competitive especially when they're running specials. read more

Sorry, this review is subjective. I like lifting weights, not using a Smith Machine or watching TV on an elliptical. This gym was clean and not to busy the one time I went as a guest with my friend. But this is NOT the gym if you actually want to do normal weight lifting. Plates are not good for deadlifting, bench press is a really strange curved rack that puts your shoulders in an unstable position during racking/unracking, and it has a very small limited free weight area. Pros: not very busy, good for people who aren't worried about building muscle and just want to do like, cardio. Clean, nice staff, interesting art at front desk. Cons: limited free weights, less than ideal plates, poorly designed freeweight equipment, limited hours on weekends. read more

Been going here for a while, staff is real cool, everything is clean, but very busy and needs more of those new machines.

I really had high hopes with the remodel and new equipment coming in but it looks like they got every type of machine except the ones they needed most. The cable machines and fly machine is always a min 20 min wait. I though adding more of those would be the first thing they did but no they just added more cages, the cages they had were never always full so now there's excess cages people aren't using, they have like 5-6 leg presses which are never tied up and they got rid of one of the two bicep curl machines so now there's a 20 min wait on that now too so all this equipment and all they managed to do was make wait times even longer for people. I think it's time for a new gym. I'm getting sick of having to wait to get onto the few machines people actually use. read more

I have mixed felling about this gym! I have had a 4 year membership solely because I love the cycle class, especially Deanna's and Nancy's classes. They are knowledgeable instructors who run fun workouts! My problem: I went in this week to use the gym floor spin bikes. The only two uprights were both out of order. No tension on one, the other had an 'out of order sign' on it. I asked manager, Anthony, if one of the cycle class bikes could be pulled out, only ten feet from inside the classroom, so I could get my workout in. He said No, if it broke then they'd have to get it repaired. I explained that there were no other upright bikes for me to get my workout in and he said, this wasn't his department. After paying for almost 7 months during Covid and not being able to attend classes, one would think they'd be a bit more accommodating!!! Btw: he had no idea when the two bikes would be repaired! This gym looks NOTHING like these pictures. I had a hard time finding it around the mall then was very disappointed when I went inside. It definitely has not been updated, it wasn't very clean and there's no stretching space. Only good thing is no one was there. read more

Ok Terri, I joined in March 2020, went 4x's then closed. I've been charged April, May and if I didn't freeze my account most likely June. Communication SUCKS, the 800 number directs you to you're local gym that can not provide any guidance or information. I am on Facebook, Instagram and email, I've received nothing. What I thought was a pretty cool gym is turning out to be a scam. I believe youfit will never reopen and probably file chapter 11. Shame on youfit for misleading and duping their members.you got 75 dollars from me but never a penny more. I like YouFit a lot. It is very clean especially the women's bathroom is immaculate. I enjoy the treadmills with private tv and a/c on them. Not a big floor workout area and the mats are foam which are not so easy to wipe down. Am hoping it opens again soon. read more

I've been to a bunch of different gyms before and this one in particular has the nicest staff out of all of them. And wow shocker I've also never seen them "speed dating" any of the patrons (thank god). I met one of the trainers there, kevin, (while he seemed to be there on his own time) and he was very nice and encouraging. I ran into him the next time I went and he talked me into going to my first Zumba class on the spot (I didn't even know what Zumba was) and I had such a blast. I've been going to this gym for years. I took a 6 month hiatus due to medical issues and I am now starting up again. I am very disappointed in their maintenance and their cleanliness. Their machines are outdated and not always working correctly. Their video feed is fuzzy and they've cut out all news channels to save money ( I'm assuming). I'm looking for another gym. read more

I've been a YouFit member for about a year and a half. For the price, you can't beat it - $20 a month for unlimited classes and access. It's a nice sized gym with plenty of equipment. I love the cardio kickboxing class and Insanity. I wish they would switch up the class schedules a little more. They offer the same classes on the same day every single week. It's hard to try any new classes because they only offer them during the work day hours and two classes after 6 o'clock on weekdays. The equipment is nice. Could be updated to accommodate any iPhone 4 or higher (wrong cables which make the cardio machine's feature useless.) I am a distance runner so I spend a good amount of time watching people just sit on equipment while they chat on the phone or "forget" to wipe ANYTHING down once they sweat all over it. Also, people using the equipment in the circuit as free machines - messes you up when you're actually trying to take advantage of it. Wish these rules were enforced more. Overall, it's a great value. LA Fitness and 24 Hour are too expensive. This is a good sweet spot. I'll continue to be a member. read more

Great gym/location. Not too busy in the mornings even with classes going on. They have attentive & friendly staff with one of the cleanest locations in my opinion. They will get someone to fix a machine quick if needed. Also have showers, lockers, personal trainers, spin, Zumba, weight lifting classes. Hours could be somewhat more flexible on weekends and additional weight lifting machines could be substituted instead of all the cardio machines since they're mostly taken up (cardio to weight machines ratio) but overall really happy read more

No fuss gym. Very Clean. Lots of treadmills and elliptical machines. Nice selection of weight machines.. All the big guys hang out on that side.. Can be a lil intimidating... Haven't done them but it looks like they have started group classes. They look far too crowded to want to try it though. read more

Good location, terrible one way access in the back although there is a good big parking lot. Normal modern gym full of people staring at their phones on machines not actually working out. Not a great layout. People are always on top of you in the free weight area. Need more water fountains. Lacking in equipment that is present in other youfits. Good hours. Uneducated trainers who visually train people in the "easiest way possible" by throwing them on machines. I watched a trainer move from one side of the gym to the other while he ran a client through a only chest workout This client was 1 visually fatigued from doing cardio before his session. 2. Visually can do more functional movements 3 should not be doing machine work before free weight 4 should not just be doing one muscle group for a session. But than again there's some good and bad trainers out there. Decent bathrooms/pretty clean facility. read more

Youfit has everything I need in a gym, right now.. Plenty of cardio equipment, a decent corner for stretching and weights and a lofty area of machines and big weights. Oh plus a clean & inviting locker room. It does not have some things I would like in a gym, such as a sauna, a tanning bed (the Boca Youfit has tanning) and of course a jacuzzi is nice for soothing the muscles. What it also doesn't have is a huge price tag. You can join for as little as $30 out of pocket and $10/ a month or an even better deal at times. It's no 24 Hour or LA Fitness, but it's got all the basics without breaking the bank. read more

Most importantly this place is clean, inside and outside. Wide range of age groups and fitness levels. Never feel out of place. Even at peak times I dont think it is overcrowded, plenty of equipment for everyone. Monthly price is reasonable. I could pay a cheaper rate but i like having the flexibility of the Lime card and being able to go to other locations. read more

Homogenized. Clean and right next door to a mega-church ( just in case you want to get some prayer in either before or after your workout). Typical S. Florida, located in low-end shopping mall (with lots of vacant stores) and nothing you'd really want to buy. Saw an online deal for a free visit and took advantage of it. Not sure I would buy a membership if I lived in the area, but it was good for a few workouts while traveling. read more

The gyms were given the green light to reopen on May 18, almost a week later and they don't even have a reopening date set. Just keep telling people to do some home workout and they will contact us when they have a date. Such a shoddy set up, and they aren't even a big operation, definitely will be changing gyms. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. It is not the quality of the gym, a gym is a gym although they are clearly below standards of the other chains. I requested a cancellation that never went through. I call them back and they told me I had to go in to cancel. While I take culpability for not watching my bank account closely enough as the $22.00 continued to be drawn and I wasnt using the gym, I went in to cancel not asking for a refund for that; my fault, just no further charges. They had just put through charge for annual l "maintenance fee" that was pending in my bank account, charged me a $10.00 "cancellation fee", then to add insult and are charging me for next month because I did not cancel within 10 days of my billing date, all fine print in their contract. So while they boast no contract, no commitment, I just paid $10.00 (cancellation fee) + next years annual "maintenance fee" of $42.00 + $22.00 for next month as my billing date is the 27th and today is the 25th, this after I had already cancelled because I did not cancel with 10 days of my billing date. So, to get out, $77.00 on services not provided and just to let me walk away. Find a real gym. I'm reporting them despite their fine print as they try to suck as much as they can from you. Charging me for a month after I've already cancelled!!! read more

I cancelled my membership on December 5th due to having access to the gym at my college campus. January 5th I checked my bank account and noticed I was charged for my gym membership. I called and was told by two staff members that they couldn't see any charges on my account and that it was indeed cancelled. I explained that my bank statement showed otherwise and was informed I would have to speak to someone in management. Fast forward to today, I went in and spoke to someone from management who told me I was wrongfully charged. The kicker is I have to wait 30 days for a refund of MY money. I asked if I could get an email or a written document stating the refund and was told that was not possible. I found this hard to believe so I left but called corporate. They told me they couldn't do anything either but I could try calling back in a week to see if it was processed. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will never give them another dime and will warn anyone who tries to go there. read more

You do not want to join this Gym. I did they already charged my card the yearly fee. Half the time there is no Wi-Fi and you can't get any signal. But the worst part is with all the TVs they have you are forced to watch Golf or Bowling or something irrelevant. You see, the News is banned at You Fit. And the staff will do nothing to change it.
