I've been coming here for years and was trying to gatekeep, but they truly deserve a shoutout. Specifically Tina, she does such an amazing job. I've gone to many places but none of them last enough, are too bulky, don't shape your nails, don't get close to the cuticle, I could go on and on. Tina has my nails lasting more than three weeks with no chipping. She understands when I say nails are thin and she will change the way of removing my nail polish. I love her! Really ask for her, she's amazing with pedicure too. I swear she shapes your toes nails soooo nice. She really puts in the work. All for the most affordable price. They do not have many colors but for the price, and quality it's 100% worth coming back each time. I have also gotten acrylics here by one of the older guys. When I tell you he got my acrylics in less than 30 minutes!! He did exactly as I requested a thin, coffin shaped nail with ombré glitter. My nails never lifted, or broke, except one time where I closed the door on my nail but he was kind enough to have me in the next day and get it fixed. Came in this morning to get acrylic nails removed and gel polish applied to my natural nails. The female technician was trying to rush and ended up damaging (ripping) 3 of my nails. She did not soak my nails or use the drill with my first hand. She used a single acrylic nail to dig in between the acrylics and my natural nails. This was extremely painful and didn't seem to be working. She then grabbed a bowl to soak and had one hand soak. She then brought out the drill which she carelessly used to the point where my nails got hot. I am home now after 9 hours and my nail beds are still in pain. I will never return here. read more

Well my acrylic set didn't last a full week. they started chipping and falling off whole. like if they were press ons. I am not from the area so I couldn't go back to get them fixed. So beware. Two stars for friendliness, but super disappointed. This was 5 days after my gel medicure. Got a $40 pedicure today. The owners wife did my feet. She was extremely rough.. She was rough with the drill, rough while cutting my cuticles, rough with the tool to take dirt from under toe nail, and rough with nail file around my toe nails. Rushed my pedi in 20 mins, and didnt give me the foot massage included in service. The men there do a much better job. I know I got the low end on spending for the pedi. I made an appointment Saturday for today to get dip nails with pink chrome and glitter! I walked in on time. Really not welcoming or kind workers. A lot of speaking in their language. I gave a picture I saw from their Yelp that I liked. Just hoping it works out. Fingers crossed. Also, got freaked out and laughed at. They have a pet bird that they let fly around. Lol! I'm serious and have proof! It flew right by me! Obviously the last thing I expected to see! Yes. I reacted like a chicken! The salon is clean and safe. It is nice. They practice safety in these times with sanitizer gel at each station. The manicurist that did my nails was rough! Ouch! I yelled that once. The nail technicians are very unprofessional here. I was getting a pedicure done when suddenly I see this distressed woman get up from her seat because the guy who was going to do her pedicure refused services over some calluses. He was very unprofessional arguing with this woman embarrassing her in front of all the people getting their services done telling her that her feet were ugly that he can't do them. No one did anything not even the management. On another occasion I made an appointment when they first opened, my nail technician still wasn't there when i had arrived for my appointment. Nail places in Fresno is either horrible, terrible or alright. I have not found a good consistent nail shop in Fresno since I moved back from LA. Young Nails and Spa is a decent shop to get your nails done, affordable and I have not seen employees treated like garbage. So far I had Tran, a young girl that goes to state and recently Julie. All were both kind and friendly. This place is nothing exciting but peaceful place to get your nails done. The nail techs do a decent job, they have a lot of colors to choose from, the employees seem happy and I leave happy. The manager Danny is very kind and remembered my sister from several years ago. They are very accommodating and try to sit your person you came with together, which I love because my sister and I like to catch up on the latest chisme. I tried to give them a chance a few days ago. They weren't welcoming at all. Then when they started on my pedicure it didn't seem sanitary. Then the lady that done my nails didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I got gel on both my feet and natural nails. My nails instantly began to chip and break. I like this place, I use to go to a different salon but they changed owners so I had to find a new place. I yelped a couple salons near me and gave them a try; this salon being one of them. Iv been to this nail salon about 5 times now. I noticed that a couple of times I got the same person doing my nails and each time I had her, I left happy with my nails and toes. Today I was there again and finally got her name it was Sydney! She was quick yet thorough and I remember the last time specifically Sydney did my gel nails they stayed a full 3 weeks. I think from now on I will continue to return and request Sydney. If you're looking for a new salon in the Fresno area, I would recommend this place. Another great visit to this place for a fresh pedicure, this time I actually got a set of acrylic nails done which where shaped by a man ( I didn't catch his name) he did a great job and was very patient with me if I had any issue I nicely brought it up to him and he would fix it. It's kind of a hole in the wall because you will miss it it is right next to the Starbucks. I'll start with the things I did not like and then I'll share the positives on the bottom. I did not like that they took kind of too long, And the staff not all of them were asked friendly I think they should be more happy and friendly to be working there. There is a huge language barrier in way and and being very sensitive I think they can work on that a little bit at least so that they can communicate with the customers. It is a bit pricey for the nails I paid about $45 I got gel and nail Polish And a very quickfoot massage. The good I did not wait 45 minutes I did wait about 30 minutes, But I think the lady did a very good job. She spent her time clipping my toenails cutting the cuticles and she did you don't rush all through it. She gave my nails several layers of nail Polish and weighted and waited and so for that I really liked it. The facility overall was clean. Overall I think if you are looking for a place that will do a good job and we'll listen to your feedback I think this is the place as they do have a manager there on site which I really liked and hes there insuring that everything is going fine. read more

They kept trying to get me to get more nails and I kept saying no thank you. Once I said no for the last time you could tell they were irritated with me. I called before coming in and was asvised they had an opening. I arrived and was seated pretty quickly. Notice there are no price lists on the wall and they dont give you a service menu. I wanted a simple mani pedi since it was my birthday. They didnt ask what type of pokish I wanted and was going to give me gel (more expensive) I finally asked what their prices were. $40 for a mani-pedi. That felt a little steep for me. I did ask for a callous treatment that was $5. That is a pretty standard fee. But the guy used his cuticle cutters to scrape and nip at my feet. I wasn't very impressed with that. It also took him a very long time to find the polish I chose. My first 2 choices werent even in stock, I ended up choosing another hue completely. Also worth noting. I travel with a service dog. While this place gave no access issues, and were very welcoming, they have a shop dog. A small yorkie that was also friendly and very welcoming. Too welcoming. It was jumping and climbing all over my girl. They eventually put it on a chair. It stayed there for my pedi. I'm not sure why they didnt do both at once like they did the other patrons. If my girl was in the way, I would have happily moved her for them. In the end my tech moved us to the nail area. Literally right next to the chair they out their dog on. Thankfully my girl ignored the growl and the whining from the chair. But then a lady put the dog on the ground and again it was all over my girl. Friendly, but my dog has been trained to ignore other dogs. Having one crawl all over and under and trying to sniff her butt gave me anxiety and made her uncomfortable. And it just kept it up. No one said anything or made it stop. They all thought it was cute. As soon as he finished with my nails, I left. I couldnt sit there another 10-15 mins to let them dry. I did end up smudging one driving home.. but my anxiety was climbing through the roof. read more

I am not from Fresno and I saw reviews from yelp so I came to get my nails done yesterday (pic from yesterday), it was probably the worst acrylic French square tip nails I've ever had. There were some kind of bubbles all over all the nails and when I asked to redo them he grinned some of the nail from the top and re-put more acrylic and when he finished they looked better but still sooo many bubbles and he didn't do anything after that?! Not only: he didn't remove any of my cuticles, all of my nails look different lengths, the under side of my nails were full of things that took me all day to get out, and my square nails are very rounded on some... will never come back here! I really like the shape and the color I chose. But as you can see, my thumb got infected. It started to heal but then proceeded to attack my muscles. I took my nails off because the man who did them did a terrible job putting a TON of acrylic making my nails super thick! With that being said as it grew out, it began to lift and when I did my hair it would pull my hair out. Not going back and I would never recommend this place due to this bad infection I got.
