Was up in the area for the weekend and my mom and I wanted to take my sister in law out for her birthday - pedicure to the rescue! Adorn was open and had avails, good reviews, and affordable to boot. Each of us got one of each pedicure service - bday girl got the Adorn, mom got the basic, I got the deluxe. All the technicians were so kind, sociable, and their work was excellent. The salon was empty (Super Bowl time! Prime time!!) - which showed us how clean everything was. The receptionist was such a pleasure to chat with, and even helped out the technicians when needed (we had Lynn, Jennifer, and one more! I'm sorry I forgot her name!). I had some time to kill. I've been passing by this place whenever I get a coffee thru the drive thru and I decided to try them out with my first full. Upon entering you're greeted by their receptionist who has all the keys to the gel nail kingdom and by that I mean all the nail tech schedules. I was a walk in, no appointment and the majority of the tech were busy with clients. One client was getting what I call the Hollywood treatment. She had two nail techs working on her at the same time. That's my kinda pampering. I did have to wait about 40 minutes. No problem because I kept myself busy looking through their books trying to pick a color. I was having a hard time, going back and forth picking the right lilac, purple mauve cat eye glass color. You just never know if it's going to be dark enough or the correct shade. I picked my color and was taken care of in the back. I will say this place needs to do little more vacuuming as nail dust was everywhere. They do a lot at this salon. Eyebrows, eyelashes, hair shampoo massage and of course all these pedicure chairs and nail tables. My lady was older with great head of grey hair. She was quick and very savvy with the magnet. I loved the way she filed and shaped my nails. I like the curve. The only way to tip is by cash or Venmo which I don't do. What the receptionist suggested was go to Walgreens (a very short email away) and get some cash back, so I did. Tip: make an appointment or you'll be waiting an hour or so. I *really* wanted to love this place based on the reviews. However, I just cannot. 1) The salon itself was very dirty (appeared it had not been cleaned in quite some time) from the floors to the cup holders on the pedicure chairs. I had to wipe the debris off my foot before placing it into the water after removing my shoes & socks. It was a bit jarring. The cup holding up the pedicure chair was just covered in acrylic & gel nail dust. I actually left a finger print in it before I wiped it. (Made me question what else isn't clean???) 2) The salon was also very cluttered. Supplies & materials were just thrown into clear box-shelves & stuff was all over the place. 3) I was told when I booked my appt that once I began my appt I would be given a menu to choose my service. I chose the $55 pedicure. (I don't recall what it's called. ) But after looking over, I did not see additional pricing for gel polish. I also was *not*told there was an up charge when I told my nail tech that I wanted gel polish. (My surprise when the front desk attendee shared my total: $80! 4) My final & most egregious concern was when my nail tech used one of those metal "cheese grater" like callus removers, which are strictly forbidden (illegal) in US. read more

Adorn was busy when we went and unfortunately we didn't have an appointment, but they did fit us in right away. Service ws great, vibe was good. Maybe it's because I haven't had my nails done in over 3 yrs but it was pricey. For me and my daughter to get mani pedis and yes my daughter got French tip acrylics it came out to $270 and we had 4 different technicians work on us and I also tipped all of them and the girl at the counter so in all it came out $315. I know tipping is optional, so that part is on me. But all I'm saying is, if your going to get your nails done at Adorn expect to spend a pretty penny. But we both love our nails. read more

Every time I see someone with pretty nails, I always tell them I like their nails. If I really like them, I'll ask where they got them done. Since January, every single time I have asked, they've all told me Lany did them at Adorn Nails. So as a birthday present to myself, I scheduled an appointment with her to get my nails done. She surpassed my expectations!!!!!!!! I went in with a picture and looked through the different designs that they do, but couldn't find the one that matched the picture. Lany looked at the picture and got the things she needed and made them look way better than the picture. She was so focused on the quality of her work and made sure each nail was perfect. She even asked checked in with me to make sure I was okay with how she was doing. I was so impressed. My nails shimmer so beautifully under sunlight. I have been going there, with no issues. Today was a very bad experience. I made an appointment online. Was told my appointment was not confirmed since I made it online. After a 15 minute wait, someone was available. I had chosen a color. The young lady at the front desk never brought it. I had the number of the bottle, but still had to pick something else. I had requested a regular pedicure. The technician apparently gave me gel polish, so they charged me $60 instead of $45. I pointed out that I did not request gel polish, and was not told my 2nd choice was gel, but the lady at the desk told me it was still $60. It was a totally bad experience today. First time here. I've been needing a pedi for a while and was looking for a new place and something that was close to the gym I was going to. I saw this via my Yelp search. I woke up at 7am and went to their website and was able to schedule a same day appointment for 10am. I got there exactly at 10am. This place was packed. I was greeted and got to check in when I entered. I waited a few mins and was seated. The massage chair was a bit loud like it needed some grease. The place is a decent size but looks crowded on a busy day like today. Seneca was my pedicurist. She was really kind and did an amazing job! My previous nail salon dug into the side of my toes and it's been bothering me since. I've never had an ingrown so I wasn't quite sure where the pain was coming from. She cleaned and cut my nails and the side and it felt so much better. I normally don't get gel but today I did it was an extra $15 charge on top of my deluxe pedicure. I was there for about an hour. The staff was really kind and even offered a beverage to drink. Overall I had a great experience! I loved the convenience of their online scheduling and the service was amazing. Very disappointed! I reviewed their web site and reviews before making an appointment. It showed the pedicure I wanted was a reasonable price. When I got there the receptionist was rude and worse she was rude to the workers. They showed me the book with the prices and they were more than their website showed but I thought no biggie. I chose the $55 pedicure. The lady doing my service said maybe 5 words to me the entire service. I had no polish on my toes they didn't need to remove gel polish or any polish. She never asked if I wanted gel, never told me there was extra charges, like I said she didn't really speak to me. When I went to pay it was $80! I paid it, didn't say anything but will NEVER go back. You can't run a business like that. I now understand why I was the only customer. read more

Came in today and got a pedicure. The standard pedicure is $45 however it's an additional $15 for gel. Every other nail salon I've been to in Fresno county the gel has only been $5 extra charge so that was quite drastic. Pros; -location (next to a Starbucks and parking lot was pretty dead so lots of parking spots) -immediately greeted and seated -employees wear gloves and use new supplies Cons- -$15 extra for just gel is hefty. Went in for a polish change. Wanted gel. It was $35 and lasted about 2 1/2 days before a big chunk of polish chipped off. Then to make it worse the next day the exposed corner caught on something and ripped the nail straight across. My gel polish usually lasts a good 3-4 weeks. I'm disabled and sit in a power chair for the most so really, why shouldn't it last? Then I saw something I wish I could totally unsee. The gentleman doing my nails turned his head to sneeze and a very long thick line of ? just ran onto the floor. Seeking legal advice. I came in for a pedicure, was met with ridiculous pricing and then had to wait for Natasha who came from the back looked super annoyed to do the pedicure, figured out I had acrylic on my two big toes. Gel is additional $15 when a whole bottle of gel is the same price. She called an older lady with short white hair can to my station where they are talking about me right in front of me? Natasha says that the older Lady will take over and she has told her to cut my nails shorter and I want white polish. Then the older lady starts to drill the acrylic and cut my toes down. She then starts to cut out my ingrown toe nail and puts the cut toenails on the top of my foot. ( for what exactly) ??!!!!?? I don't know. Then I guess my toe nail got a fungus which is a medical issue from the acrylic being on the toe and this damn lady start talking so loud about my nail being yellow and I need to get tea oil and put it on twice a day to kill the fugus. So freakin loud and repeating herself over and over again. Your nail is bad and you come back and I keep cutting it off. I am so damn embarrassed, there should be some type of professionalism to protect my personal medical condition from the rest of the customers. This is not ok. I am so offended, you do feet for a living and I am sure you can handle the conversation in a quiet manner and not in front of strangers. This place charged $70 for a pedicure and only puts a tiny amount of lotion, scrub and an orange on a plate. For the price they charge, the quality and professionalism is not there. I tried this place out because of the great Yelp reviews, and I must say, it did not disappoint! I had manicure and pedicure done. The ladies were very nice, and they helped me choose my color scheme for my graduation pictures. I showed them my outfit and asked them for their input because I don't usually get my nails done. I absolutely LOVE the way they came out and I'm definitely coming here again. For the manicure, I went with dip nails with tip added, and chose the beautiful ombré red color with glittery grey tips. They came out perfect!! For the pedicure, I got a matching red gel color. They removed my calluses and massaged my feet with great spelling lotions, and my feet got a wonderful foot soak.
