This is the worst dealership you could possibly deal with. A bunch of scammy lying thieves. They sold us the wrong vehicle (their salesman's fault) and took the vehicle back 2 weeks later. When we took it back we got the correct trim we needed which were the same needs mentioned during our first purchase. After getting home we see they stole $1500 of our down payment ($5000 cash given and $3498 recorded on finance papers) and charged us other fees we agreed would be removed at the time of purchase. Okay, maybe I'm comparing Apples & Oranges, and it's been a while since I've bought a car but the three dealerships here in the valley need to take some lessons from their Big Brothers in Salt Lake. I stopped by twice Young Toyota, first time on a Thursday evening, and it was late afternoon early evening, so not a lot of customers I guess. Salesman seemed like he wanted to help. We exchanged info, but that's where to support ended. I texted and I often didn't get a response or got one word answers. We try to see him on Saturday, but didn't get responses, came into town, got a message just prior to our arrival, and he asked if we could come back in a couple of hours because he was busy. We got stuck with a different sell person, who also seemed too busy for us. Now I know not everyone in Utah are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but the dealership was closed on Sundays, and right in the middle of Church my phone rings. We decided after three different poor experiences here with different dealerships in the valley, we decided to try in Salt Lake City. Here is what I expected: be treated like a valued customer (I mean I'm wasn't going to spend a lot of money but work with me). Just because I wasn't going to buy $60,000 car treat me like I was. Take the time to listen to me and answer my questions. Give me options. Don't expect me to pay MSRP. Two of the three dealerships here, must be doing well enough to gouge customers and have customers pay full price but I didn't. The third, could not be bothered because we wondered the lot for 30 minutes and not one salesperson came out to talk to us. I called to check and purchase the availability of a 2022 Highlander platinum edition. The ad on KSL said the MSRP was $52027 and the sale price was also $52027. When I informed them that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle all of a sudden there was an additional $3000 mark up on the car. When I asked why it wasn't disclosed in their advertising the manager Dan Deinger was rude and said I don't have to buy it if I don't want to. I've been to this dealership multiple times to purchase a vehicle, apply for a sales position, get maintenance done on my vehicle, and have called in with random questions for the staff. Here is how those experiences went: - Salesman approached as we came in through the door and asked if we were interested in a vehicle. We said we were looking for a Toyota Tacoma and wanted to look at a few models. After looking at a few Tacoma models we let them know we would come back after our current vehicle had sold on KSL. Immediately the salesman became very standoffish and expressed his frustration that we had not told him beforehand that we weren't serious about buying that day. He then left to go make a phone call and we haven't heard back from them since. - One of the sales managers bought an item I had off of KSL and asked that I meet them at the dealership. After conducting the sale, he then asked if I would like to come back and interview for a sales position. I agreed and returned a few days later for an interview. After the interview was conducted I waited a week for some kind of follow up, however there was no response from them. Finally I decided to call them and was told to be patient while they conduct the process of hiring a new employee. After 3 weeks I got an email from them saying that they had chosen someone else for the job. I felt like this was extremely impersonal and that they did not value my time whatsoever. - I called in one day to ask if they did vehicle rentals. The receptionist who answered the call informed me that they do and then transferred me to the service department. After asking if they had any vehicles available, the technician on the phone said they do not rent vehicles and was frustrated that people keep calling and asking about it. I explained what the receptionist had said and he muttered that he would get to the bottom of it. He then immediately hung up the phone without any sort of salutation. I felt this was unprofessional and that I was an inconvenience. Thus far I have had an unpleasant experience with each association with this dealership. I personally recommend you seek business with a different dealership that is more effective at attracting and attaining customers with high-value products. read more

This is the worst Toyota dealership that I have ever worked with. There is a systemic problem that is reinforced by the service manager, sales manager and general manager. The do not take responsibility for there errors. They knowingly violated the Utah consumer protection act (13-11). They will not provide documenting as to how they come up with their diagnostics for repairs in the $1000s of dollars. I would strongly recommend a Toyota vehicle but stay clear of Young Toyota Service Center. read more

DON'T BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR WORK! It's worth driving to Ogden or SLC for quality repair work and to avoid the Young Toyota nightmare. Young Toyota mechanics damaged my transfer case while supposedly replacing the transfer case seal in 2019 and then again under warranty in 2020. Now, less than two years later, it's leaking yet again. Upon inspection at another Toyota service shop where we live, we found Young Toyota damaged the mating surface of my transfer case during their "repairs" (see pictures below). Bottom line: This was a standard job and rookie mistake. Young is claiming it's out of warranty but the warranty was to replace the seal, not to damage my vehicle to the tune of about $5000 (cost of transfer case replacement). They've been evasive when trying to reach them, despite Russ Ottley, the current service manager acknowledging that they caused the scratches but stating this is not the cause of the leak. I've been reaching out to Russ Ottley, Jake Talbot, and Young Automotive regarding this matter for weeks, to no resolution. Aside from this issue, we had a repeated problems with a 4WD sensor and timing belt job Young Toyota did (again both standard jobs), which we think shows an ongoing pattern of negligence. We are so disappointed in the poor quality service we received at Young Toyota and lack of responsibility for their workmanship. We hope others will read this and go elsewhere. Save yourself time, thousands of dollars, and hours of frustration by going somewhere that doesn't make it a practice to cover up a mistake, with another mistake, and then a patch job. read more

I would not recommend buying from here I recently purchased a 2014 chrysler town and country with in 24 hours it was in their shop because the check engine and ETC light came on which I was told was "just the thermostat" after I got my vehicle back I get less than a mile from the dealership and my whole vehicle is smoking coming in through the vents barely made it to the side of the road before it conoletely shut up had to be towed back to the dealership this time somebody supposedly forgot to put a cap back on so fluid spewed out everywhere which caused the white smoke after they replaced the cap I get no less than 5 miles away and my vehicle breaks down again this time supposedly a hose issue all of this happened in less than a week of having the vehicle I noticed since day one I was having acceleration issues and still do well now it's been a month and I'm having multiple misfire issues due to faulty spark plugs and O2 sensor is bad which could've been causing my acceleration issues I'm assuming they were holding off on fixing it so that my one month warranty on those issues could not cover those problems , I'm extremely irate as this is my vehicle I use for work now I cannot work until I get this issue resolved and I'm a single mom of 3 how am I supposed to make money for my kids or even to fix the vehicle?? I specifically told them I needed a reliable vehicle as I use it for work doing deliveries how am I supposed to make my car payments if I can't work? I regret purchasing my car FROM young Toyota Logan UT Oct 2021. I like my car but it has been a runaround from the beginning on anything they do. Bought the car they were installing LoJack and tint. After them having the car for 10 days the tint was finally done but they had nothing but problems on getting the LoJack fixed took over 3 more trips. Also during them having the car someone road rashded one of my wheels again took 3 or 4 times of going in to fix it before it finally was fixed (I had not even drove my car home yet) . I had the free oil changes and tire rotations which would take 1 - 2 hrs to complete when I was there even though I would make an appt out 2 plus weeks for service. Each time I was there it would be an issue of why they couldn't do something and so forth. The last visit they didn't rotate my tires saying they couldn't find the wheel lock. It was in the glove box, however I saw they ransocked my glove box, center consul and trunk looking for it but never asked me where it was. I sat there for over 2 hrs finally went to ask them if my car was done and it was. Noone bothered to come find me. This trip they claimed my tires were at a 3 however I know they are not (went to another tire place and they said 3 tires at 5 and one was at a 4) they just went by my miles thinking I need to replace them but they don't know I have snow tires I run. Just lazy excuses constantly to try and get me to buy more. If it wasn't that the oil changes were free I would not keep coming back I am finally almost done with them. The car is great but if you value your time and don't like to constantly reschedule your life for what they say they can do I would not recommend them. This is my opinion read more

YOUNG TOYOTA, Logan I know cars are in high demand, so I already secured the funding before shopping, then I did their legwork to find the one that would 'dealer trade' for a different color (I called 7 surrounding states). Once I had EVERYTHING ready for them, they refused to take a hefty deposit and REQUIRED FULL PAYMENT for a vehicle not due to arrive for 2 weeks (and was not reserved or pre-ordered by anyone else). "We can sell it to 500 people right behind you". So beware if you are one of those 500 behind me, wether in state or out of state ... Don't believe them when they say that the majority of other dealers are requiring FULL PAYMENT before the car arrives! When in FACT - dealers would either limit selling to "locals" only (that's fair), or take a larger deposit ($1,000 - that's fair) - NONE OF THEM REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT IN ADVANCE OF DELIVERY !!!! BEWARE - If the vehicle you are buying from YOUNG TOYOYA is wrecked in transit, is a lemon, or you just don't like or trust it - You will be out a lot of money with no vehicle in sight. And if they "might" refund you the money, BEWARE again - you're going to have to reapply for a loan because the bank will consider the first loan paid off and they will require you to reapply (basic banking math for decades) - or I guess you could apply again for the deanship's financing over 10% (that's insane too), and allow them to wreck your credit - because now you've bought 2 cars in a month, any reputable financing institution will view this action as a bad risk. read more

Since we live in Washington and couldn't be there to help him and he had never had to buy a car before I called Young Toyota thinking they were a reputable dealership. i explained the situation to them and they assured me they would take good care of them. Long story short they sold him a car that had been totaled and had a shoddy job done to fix it. 8 months later it has broken down several times and now needs a new transmission which costs $9k, we have called and talked to them and their response was he signed the paperwork that the car was sold as is. In the interest of clarity, I didn't buy a car. I wanted to, but I had a VERY complicated situation that led to me not being able to trade my old car in and get a new one. HOWEVER the sales team, service team, and managers went ABOVE and BEYOND repeatedly treating me and my ex husband and even my four crazy kids like we were part of their family. I have never been treated this well, even at dealerships that actual family work at. They took care of everything so I didn't have to worry and gave me an AWESOME rental, repaired my old mini van in ONE day, and were beyond kind and understanding even as I was frustrated, anxious, and overwhelmed. I literally went to pretty much every dealership in Logan and this is the only one I will ever buy a car from as long as I live in Cache Valley. Hopefully I'll be back to buy a sweet Toyota sienna soon. My salesman was Jordan, and seriously I CANNOT say enough nice things about that man and the way he cared for my family. He has the patience of the saint and is a great member of our community. He's so honest and straightforward and wasn't worried about the fact that he wouldn't be getting a sale, but very worried about leaving me with a car or making me rely on my ex husband. They will take advantage of you and the nice salesman will flip the minute you sign, the manager doesnt keep up his word and the finance manager will make you sign things blindly with incorrect info or he will just not tell you pieces that leave out vital info that jack up the total purchase price with the response.. "you will get all this on a jump drive after, I just need you to sign here" I bought my first new car here after saving for over 5 years for it and the story is horrifying. They ruined what should have been a highlight in my life with the parting words "you signed the contract" ( the Same contract that the finance manager doesn't show you, he just verbally goes through some and says sign here, you get a copy on the jump drive at the end!" Only been there once, never going back! Classic bait and switch, they had a used 2008 Honda Accord advertised on KSL Cars for $10,000.00, when we sat down to crunch the numbers the base price had risen to $10,995.00, this was before the addition of the absurd "Accessory Package" and all the other fees and taxes. When we refused to be taken advantage of, in a desperate attempt to save the sale, they threw in an offer of a 3 month warranty for "Peace of mind" just in case their inspection may have missed anything, but it would only cover the drive train. When I pointed out that I had done my research of the local market and that they were about $1500.00 higher than the average for that particular model with similar mileage and condition, they responded with a cherry picked list of price points from other dealerships to show they were in line price wise, however their car had a torn leather drivers seat, a center console cover that was badly damaged, and a dent in the back of the car, not even close to being a High Blue Book example of the model, but yet they were determined to be bullheaded at the negotiating table and push for High Book pricing. We tried to keep the offer sheet in order to take it home and think about it, but they wouldn't let us keep it. Never felt better walking away from a bad deal!!!! read more

Well ... we are done doing business with this place. They took advantage of us on my wife's car like they had done many times with my truck. When we purchased my wife's new Honda 18 months ago we were told we'd receive two years of free oil changes just like we did for my truck. When we scheduled her third service, we were informed this was our final complimentary service. Now when you pay as many of your hard-earned dollars as we did for her car, the word "complimentary" on its face is offensive! But it's even worse to feel lied to! We received four services on my truck ... one every six months for two years. At any rate, we canceled her third service appointment and we are now taking both of our vehicles to our new car care place. The phrase "Buyer Beware" is very pertinent if you ever decide to do business here. read more

We went in to get my car service on 7/14. I was approached by Jake about trading my car in and that my car would have so much equity in it that we wouldn't need a down payment come to find out I have to carry over $4,000 to my new loan. I was shown several crappy vehicles compared to my Toyota. Finally my husband convinced me to trade my car in . We went with Mark, mark was amazing til it came to the approval, I told him what I could afford and sadly he couldn't do it and now we are paying more than we wanted. He then leaves us sitting there to help other customers and any questions we had he wouldn't answer them. We waited over an hour to sign our papers with Blake after we got approved. Very frustrating especially when we are the only ones there (it was after 8pm). Two weeks later on 7/20 we received a call from Mark saying we need to go in and sign new papers since our Loan changed. I told Mark we couldn't go in because we had family out of town well he insisted that we go in. We went in after work and I told him when we'd be there so they would have all the paper work ready. We waited 45 minutes for Blake and he leaves with a salesman and goes outside to talk to a customer. We go back in when Blake has time to fill our paper work and I find out they still haven't sent out our payment after 2 weeks. I contacted Jake (GM) and he told me it would be expedited. I contacted Mark again on 7/30. All he would tell me is it is being worked on and they have 20 days to pay it off. Which I understand the whole 20-day payoff but I have traded in tons of cars and it doesn't take that long and I have people who work at dealerships who also agreed it doesn't take that long. I called the finance company my loan is through and they have no record of my car being traded in and by utah law they have to notify them within 10 days. I messaged Jake and Mark today 8/2 to see what my update is on my payoff, no reply. I then called in and Blake is supposedly out of the office. I am now feeling like my calls and emails are being ignored. I am beyond frustrated that the GM lied to me more than once, that I didn't get the updated loan agreement, that we have been treated poorly and that my car still isn't paid off like it was promised and is now listed for sale. I will be going to someone higher on the chain and I will make sure this will be resolved. We are so embarrassed that we referred someone to them and they are being treated poorly. They will NEVER have our business again or anyone who we referred to them. read more

I'm not sure what happened to the service department at this dealership, but it's become a total joke. Dropped my Highlander off to get the brakes repaired. Failed to write down what I wanted, so they did a their infamous 50 point inspection and an oil change instead! Finally got them to replace the brakes, but somehow destroyed the axle in the process... Okay, they got that replaced, so I picked it up a week later and they forgot to fully seat the front wheel speed sensor, so the car literally stops on the freeway in a construction zone. Had it towed to the dealership in Ogden, and the service description on the receipt literally says "FRONT AXLE REPLACED AT YOUNG TOYOTA IN LOGAN... FOUND RIGHT FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR NOT FULLY SEATED AND SECURED. SECURED SPEED SENSOR, CLEARED DTC S AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE." Young Toyota refused to take responsibility for their gross negligence. Good riddance. read more
