I have been to a couple of goat dairies in my day, and what I love about Francis and her goats is that she is a stickler for cleanliness and for chilling that milk immediately so the caproic acid does not make the milk taste off. She sells full fat milk which is delicious and creamy. She regularly tests her milk for purity, but the best part of this dairy, is that those animals are LOVED. They are loved and cared for very well. I pay $12 for a half gallon, and I use the milk like medicine. It helps restore my teeth, and also helps me lose weight. I love this place. Love the people. Oh, my GOSH. The drive out here is so beautiful! And the place is spotlessly clean...I can only imagine how much work this little farm must demand! The milk...oh, yum!! The best goats milk I've ever had. I've been feeding my dog's raw goats milk along with their raw diets, but it's $8.00 per pint at the natural dog food place. It's $15.00 a gallon here, and worth every cent. It's creamy and fresh tasting, and not gamey at all. My dogs love it, and my grandson and I love it even more. Super nice people, too. Get some!!
