I had to…read morecall and cancel 1 appointment for a cleaning because my Dad had fallen and was in the hospita. I explained this to them and they gave me a hard time but cancelled it and said just call back to re-schedule. Long story short they cancelled ALL future appointments and when I went in for the next appt. 3 of the women upfront ganged up on me and argued with me about the appt., it was all ridiculous because I missed 1 appt. I never go on here and say anything about any company wherher I have had a good or bad experienc. But I must say these people are fake and the dentist was not that great but after spending 7 grande all of a sudden they gang up on me for missing that appointment and saying I should go somewhere else. it was so dumb!! They had no problem with me coming 5 other times before that but since I missed an appt! i was a problem. I didn't yell or curse at them but since I disagreed with them I was a terrible person! Anyway....there are Dentists on every corner here so that is no problem and I didn't really like going there. It's all women there and the blonde with the bad perm is the worst and they are all pretty frumpy so maybe they are just miserable, but if you have to cancel an appointment be prepared!!!!!

There are some good office staff also. I went to Royal Oak Dental yesterday to have a temporary crown removed and a new crown put in place. The person that was to remove the temp crown started working on me but it was painful and I didn't know what to expect . This person was tugging at pullng the temp crown off pulled back with the instrument she was using and cut my lip she was not aware she did that until she saw the blood. I didn't have trust in her after that. Treat a patient like a person not a machine. I eventually had a numbing agent . Dr Smith is very clever and I believe he is good at what he does. He finally came along and gave me a perfunctory one liner that could infer I was responsible for this injury. He did what he had to do with the crown and stated he would come back when I had numerous xrays. Dr Smith never came back he must have got too busy.

Last spring I had my cleaning and they found a crack under a molar crown. I went to an implant specialist. Had it extracted and a bone graft. During those visits I had extensive halo X-rays and regular X-rays. Today I was told if I didn't have a "big picture done" Each Individual Tooth X rayed, they would not clean my teeth. I walked out. That is not necessary. I just had halo X-rays done a year ago. It isn't healthy to have that many X-rays. I am 72. I am not getting all new crowns or veneers. Not going back ever. Furious. They would not clean my teeth unless I agreed to have each tooth xrayed!

Ok I know this review may be slightly biased or perhaps ill supported because this was sad to say…read moremy first visit to a dentist since 2004. Previously I seen a dentist in the ARMY which mistakenly read the wrong chart and drilled a tooth that did not need drilling. So for a first true experience I was painfully pampered by an amazingly awesome dentist. My dentist Dr Anderson poked and prodded and did a thorough exam making certain she left no area unattended or not examined. With grace from God my teeth were in great shape with only one minor cavity needing to be filled. Although I had a cavity it certainly was a blessing to learn of better ways to conduct dental hygiene. I also threw out a question of removing a filling and replacing with a true teeth color. When most people would have seen that as a easy dollar Dr. Anderson was very honest and advised against such a procedure. It is great to know of such people with great integrity. Thanks for caring so well for my teeth!

Visited Inspire Dental - Apex in August 2025. My family member does not speak English, so we had to…read moreaccompany them for communication. The initial exam was extremely brief, with no clear explanation, no X-rays shown, and no introductions -- we didn't know who was the dentist or assistant. During the deep cleaning, a hygienist/assistant administered anesthesia and did the entire procedure without the dentist present or supervising. The dentist only appeared afterward, did not introduce herself, and gave no post-procedure guidance. I had to ask basic questions about care and eating afterward. Later, we were told additional fillings were required, which were never mentioned during the visit. Billing seemed excessive. When we raised concerns, the dentist adamantly insisted everything was done correctly, dismissed our questions, and offered no apology or acknowledgment. The receptionist was also unprofessional and dismissive when asked about billing. The clinic later refused to continue care rather than address the issues. Overall, this experience demonstrated arrogance, lack of transparency, and disregard for patient communication and rights.
